STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer-Chapter 32: Part 2: Training Ground

The middle-aged man saw that the young man was at Tier-1 Rank 1, Peak Stage.

"Teacher Jacob, I think this kid can survive easily," he commented.

"Well, I know. He has combat talent. So I want him to fight against the Tier-2 Corrupted Beast," Jacob said with a smile.

The guard then nodded his head and guided them to one of the training grounds. When they arrived at the place, they saw it was a spacious field surrounded by walls.

It had two entry/exit points. They were standing in front of one of the entrances. From the opposite entrance, the caged corrupted beast might be released.

Jeremy squinted his eyes. He didn’t know what type of Corrupted Beasts were locked up here, but he was ready to impress everyone with his fighting talent.

"Alright, I’ll inform the in-charge here." After saying that, the middle-aged man left. He was one of the guards patrolling the training ground.

The real in-charge was someone else. Jacob knew the person as well.

Shortly afterward, a middle-aged woman arrived. She was wearing a tight combat uniform. She appeared to be a mercenary rather than a teacher.

"Ariel," Jacob called out.

"Jacob, I heard you are assigned to a fallen department," the brown-haired woman said with a smile.

Jacob smiled wryly. It couldn’t be helped. He couldn’t show his anger here.

"Yes, I’m the instructor of the Striker Department. Could you let one of the Tier-2 Corrupted Beasts outside so that my department representative can fight against it?" Jacob asked.

"Oh," Ariel raised her eyebrows in surprise.

"When did he start acting polite?" Ariel asked herself.

Then she thought that his appointment to the fallen department must have humbled him. She then set her gaze on the kid.

"Hey, kid. What’s your name?" Ariel asked.

"Jeremy Night," Jeremy replied.

"Since you are representing the Striker Department, I assume you won’t use your lifeline beast. Am I right?" she asked.

"Yes, I’m going to kill the Corrupted Beast with my own hands," Jeremy said in neither a humble nor an arrogant tone.

Ariel felt that the young man was confident. To be honest, before coming here, her colleagues were discussing the department representatives.

Naturally, the name of Jeremy Night was brought up as well. So she was aware that the kid in front of her was a child from one of the City Governors’ families in City C.

"I’m going to release the Tier-2 Corrupted Beast. So get ready. If there is an emergency situation, I will intervene immediately," Ariel said.

Jacob sighed. He didn’t expect her to accept this request smoothly. Then he realized maybe she wanted to know Jeremy’s strength as well.

Jeremy wanted to improve the status of the Striker Department as well.

A Corrupted Beast was making a deep growling sound. Then it walked into the open field. The next second, its appearance became clearer.

"Black Wild Boar," Jeremy uttered in surprise.

Because it was one of the wild animals that had become more sinister after mutation. Among the corrupted beasts, it was considered a troublesome bunch.
