Strange Worlds-Chapter 285: Training (2)
Chapter 285: Training (2)
*hatchi*
In the morning, Aya woke up and rubbed her nose. She had the feeling that her four friends definitely cursed her a lot last night. She had given them warning that the potion would definitely be very painful, but they all chose to take it.
Well, Aya was prepared to face their scolding.
Anyway, it was nothing much.
Aya slipped to the dining room and looked in the direction of Aren’s room. The dark element had somehow subsided slightly, but it was still very dark. This made her wonder whether Aren would have a dark element physique or something.
But after a while, she chose not to think too much.
And then, Evan came up with a dark circle under his eyes. His face was a bit pale but there was also excitement. Clearly, he had experienced the sweetness of that potion.
Aya herself knew that the mana increase from that potion also depended on their physique, current mana pool, and so on. She herself used it when she was still young, so the mana increase would not be as much. But over time, it stabilized and helped her to have much more mana than ordinary magic warriors of the same rank.
Now that she had reached rank 7, her mana pool was also much more than ordinary rank 7. It was almost comparable to rank 8.
For this reason, there was no problem for Aya to use two rank 7 magic spells directly back then.
"How is it?" Aya asked with a faint smile.
"It’s good." Evan nodded and then looked at Aya. "But I want to beat you up."
"With just a little increase in mana?" Aya rolled her eyes. She felt that Evan was dreaming if he said that he wanted to beat her up with just such a little increase. But after thinking about it, if Evan kept on drinking the potion for the next two days, he should reach middle rank 3 before the next competition. At that time, it could be said that Evan would be able to contend better against his opponent.
After all, his opponent was already 17 years old, almost reaching the limit for the competition.
"I can try, can’t I?"
"Let’s go to the training ground. I’m sure the others would have gone there too," Aya suggested.
"Alright."
The two of them finished their breakfast and then headed to the training ground. As Aya had expected, the other three were already there. When they saw Aya and Evan coming, they looked like they wanted to pounce on Aya right away.
"It seems that the result is quite good." Aya nodded when she saw their appearance. Her eyes finally landed on Dean and felt that this potion was simply tailor made for him. Because she could tell that the one who has their mana increased the most was Dean followed by Evan. The third one was Leon while the last one was Yun.
The main reason might be because Yun already had a lot of mana in the first place.
"Let’s have a fight!" Leon looked at Aya through gritted teeth. Even if he had suffered quite a lot in the past, this kind of training was still very painful.
"Yes!" Dean also looked at Aya.
Even Yun looked at Aya and looked like she was itching to give Aya a good beating.
This made Aya felt a bit amused and then she looked at the four of them. "You can all go together."
"Arrogant!"
Bang!
.
.
.
When Silas reached the training ground, he saw four people were lying on the ground and Aya was sitting leisurely while taking out a few more bottles of potions. It could be said that these four people definitely suffered a good beating under Aya’s hand.
Even Yun was not an exception.
"Brother Silas," Aya called out.
"Hey." Silas looked at these children and sighed. He said, "The schedule has been made. The final of the block will be held three days later but the battle between the blocks is one week after that battle. They can only repair one of the arenas in three days because they’re busy with other things."
To be exact, the Fourth Head of the Wansu City was busy catching the mastermind and spies.
There were many magic warriors who were busy with other things and couldn’t bother with the arenas. The Fourth Elder could only summon some teachers who were good at earth magic to help mend the arena.
The arena itself was fine.
But the formation...
It was estimated that they would need more time to finish it.
After all, the final battle would be very exciting and there was no one who could say for sure that these children could hold back. They couldn’t allow any more casualties among the ordinary people.
So only one arena was repaired.
And for the battle in 10 days, they would increase the security.
"Would three days be enough?" Yun asked as she struggled to sit up. Of course, she was not beaten up by Aya but her mana was exhausted when she tried to support her friends. Aya only interrupted her spells through using some wind magic spell, but it was enough to make Yun suffer.
This made Yun feel that even as a support, she had to be able to protect herself well.
If she met with a more ruthless person than Aya, she would suffer enough.
"It should be." Silas shrugged, not sure about it either.
Aya looked at her friends and silently took out 9 bottles each for them.
"You can take it. The limit of drinking this potion is 10 bottles, one bottle per day."
The children looked at the potions that Aya handed over and their expression turned livid. That miserable experience made them truly unwilling to take the bottle. Yet at the same time, they also realized that drinking one bottle was the same as a few weeks of their own practice.
A short pain for a good result...
In the end, they all still take the bottles.
