Strange Worlds-Chapter 282: Aya’s Plan
Chapter 282: Aya’s Plan
"We know about that."
"Is there anything?"
"Well, there’s a potion that can increase your mana pool permanently..." Aya said slowly and she saw everyone turned to look at her. It was clear that their battles today made them eager to have more strength as soon as possible.
The three days break was the best time for them to enhance their strength as soon as possible.
"Real?"
"Are you serious?"
They have never heard of that kind of potion before. After all, if there was any potion that could enhance their mana pool, a lot of people would have long rushed over just to have a bit.
"What is the side effect?" Silas suddenly asked. He was more clear headed and knew that there were indeed some of these potions in Central Magic City, but they all have terrifying side effects. Only those who had reached a dead end would be willing to use these potions.
"It’s just a bit painful but it would not affect your body," Aya replied with a faint smile. "I have used it before and it works."
"Really?"
"Yes." Aya nodded solemnly. When it came to her friends, she would not joke around and Aya knew that this potion hadn’t been made yet, but she wanted to help her friends get stronger. So this was the only method available.
Of course, there were the advanced potion ones that would not give any pain.
But..
This potion couldn’t be given to magic warriors below rank 5.
Because the medicinal power was a bit too strong and their body wouldn’t be able to handle it.
"How much is it?" Leon was the first to ask. Even if it was painful, he felt that it would not be more painful than the dark element training that he had experienced. If it could give him power, then Leon was willing to pay everything just to get it.
"It’s fairly expensive, but I won’t ask for money from you." Aya chuckled. "Wansu City’s money is useless to buy it."
Leon nodded and he remembered that only magic cores were accepted in that magic association place. "Alright, I owe you one."
"Here you go." Aya gave one bottle of potion to Leon.
"I also want one." Dean suddenly raised his hand.
His mana amount was basically the least in their team. He had suffered a lot from the lack of mana, so Dean hoped that he would be able to increase his mana faster.
"Ok."
"Can I have one?" Evan asked and looked at Aya seriously.
When Evan saw how the others fought just now, he realized that the gap of a few years was quite a lot for these children. Because they were all still in their growth period and their mana amount and so on would start to increase rapidly during this period of time.
So Evan wanted to increase his mana as much as possible in order not to be left behind.
"Yes."
After Aya handed one bottle to Evan, she looked at Yun.
To be honest, if they didn’t count Aya’s real mana amount, Yun had the most mana among them all. So perhaps, Yun would not think about drinking any potion to increase her mana.
"How painful is it?" Yun suddenly asked.
How painful is it?
"You will feel as if someone is scraping your bones and piercing your body," Aya replied honestly. Because that was what she felt in the past.
Yun took a deep breath and extended her hand. "I owe you one, Aya."
"Ok." Aya smiled.
Seeing these children trusted Aya and accepted the potions, Silas looked thoughtful. He could see that even without his presence, this team would not crumble away.
However...
Silas looked at Leon and sighed deeply.
He knew very well that Leon would not be able to accept losing. The losing streak in the past few weeks had made Leon feel a bit crazy and right now, Leon was not feeling well at all. In this competition, Leon was able to beat up some people but at the same time, he also experienced a hard battle against some students.
This made Leon realized that there were actually many other people who were far better than him in the academy.
Or they were at least as good as him.
Even if he managed to win, Leon was not that happy. He felt that his progress was simply too slow and that there were many students who were going to overtake him.
This mana potion...
Even if it sounds a bit unbelievable, Leon decided to take the risk. He wanted to try and increase his mana pool so that he could use more rank 3 magic spells. Otherwise, Leon didn’t think that he could beat his opponent with ease.
"Remember to use it in a soundproof room," Aya said again. "The pain will make you scream loudly and I don’t think you would want to attract other people’s attention."
They all nodded, keeping this matter firmly in their heads. Even though they felt that Aya was exaggerating, they would rather try to follow it than not at all. After all, if they did end up screaming loudly without any regards, it was estimated that all faces would be lost.
No one wanted to experience it.
Anyway, with their respective backgrounds, it was not that hard for them to prepare a sound proofed room.
After Aya reminded them of a few other caution, they all went their separate ways. Only Silas was still standing there, looking at Aya with a thoughtful look. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
"Brother Silas?"
"Every mana potion in the magic association has clear disadvantages and none of them only cause pain," Silas said slowly. "How trustworthy is this potion?"
Aya looked at Silas strangely. He only asked this after the others had left, which meant that he still trusted her. But for the sake of his students, he chose to ask for more details.
"I have used it myself, so how trustworthy do you think it is?"
