Starting with a Family System to Become an Immortal Official-Chapter 86: Elder Gu Bingyue
Li Qingmu slowly swept his gaze across the vast desert and took in the sea of faces.
Hundreds of thousands of candidates from every corner of the Lower Heaven Realm and beyond.
The mocking sneers had mostly faded.
The finger-pointing had stopped.
Even the loudest mouths among the Ancient World State and Great World State juniors had gone quiet as their eyes darted away whenever his line of sight drifted near them.
No more "lower-world trash" or "Chief of Poverty."
Rather they stole glances and coughed awkwardly.
『Am I... some kind of celebrity in the Lower Heaven?』
Li Qingmu thought, stunned.
『Since when did my name carry this much weight?』
He fought hard to keep his expression neutral, refusing to let the shock show on his face. He simply adjusted his robe sleeves and exhaled slowly and acted as if this was all perfectly normal.
Nearby, Auntie Chuyan had finally come out fully from the concealment spell.
Now everyone could see her clearly.
The beautiful mature woman slowly looked Li Qingmu up and down — starting from his head, going all the way to his feet, then back up again — taking her time with every part of him.
Her eyes narrowed slightly as she sensed it.
An overwhelming surge of pure yang energy pouring from his body like an endless furnace.
Thick and vigorous.
It felt like the density and heat of a dragon.
Being near him made her womb knot tightly.
『So that’s it...』
She gripped her lower abdomen.
『A sacred yang physique... only true dragons or those blessed by draconic bloodline could carry this much masculine essence.』
She stared longer than she intended.
A gentle, real smile slowly spread across her lips without her even realizing it. It was warm and indulgent — the sort of soft, approving smile a grown woman gives when she’s quietly impressed by something really good.
Xu Lingxi caught the look immediately.
Her youthful purple eyes flicked sideways toward her guardian auntie.
『Why is Auntie smiling at him like that?』
If she didn’t know any better she’d think this old auntie of hers wanted to eat this young man.
She pouted, cheeks puffing out like a spoiled child who just watched someone steal her favorite toy.
『Father must hear of this!』
She squeezed her own face in irritation.
At that moment.
Grand Elder Song Yan sauntered through the crowd with her graceful long legs. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
The proud beauty of the Song family placed a gentle hand on Li Qingmu’s shoulder.
"Take care of yourself during the exams."
Her voice was gentle like clean streams of water.
You would think she was talking to the man she shared a bed with every night.
"I’ll be joining the other superiors on the central dais to watch you make me proud."
Li Qingmu gave her a small, easy smile.
"That’s fine, Elder. Thank you."
"Hrmm!"
Song Yan squeezed her face.
He immediately realized his mistake.
"Oh... I meant... Big Sis..."
"Good boy."
She caressed his earlobe affectionately.
The casual touch and gentle tone sent ripples through the nearby candidates.
"So even Fairy Song Yan is touching him so casually..."
"Lower-world trash shouldn’t be this lucky!"
"Shhh—keep your voice down!"
"Yeah! What if Li Qingmu hears you?"
They were all jealous and shell-shocked.
And more whispers followed.
"Fairy Song Yan never even stands close to powerful men from the Central World State... yet here she is smiling and touching him like it’s nothing."
"Truly enviable..."
Song Yan paid the gossip no mind.
She rose into the air with a light step and her silver-white hair billowed as she floated upward like an elegant violet petal carried on an invisible breeze.
Tap...
She landed softly on the central dais.
There, she met the cold gaze of Head Proctor Ye Zirou and the green-haired beauty standing beside her.
Song Yan narrowed her eyes slightly.
『Green hair... that means Gu Clan. I heard rumors a senior from the Gu immortal family would spectate the first phase. So this must be her. But what exact position does she hold?』
Ye Zirou calmly brushed her bangs aside.
"Wonderful to have you here, Elder Song."
She spoke quite flatly.
There wasn’t a trace of warmth in her tone.
Like a poorly hidden displeasure she didn’t seem to care whether it showed or not.
Song Yan ignored the frostiness. "It’s good to be here."
Her gaze shifted to the green-haired beauty.
Ye Zirou spoke again, voice smooth but clipped.
"This is Gu Bingyue, an elder of the Gu immortal family and an ambassador of our state."
Song Yan immediately noticed the pleased smile on Ye Zirou’s face when she introduced Gu Bingyue.
『There’s something between her and the Gu family.』
Before she could dwell on it, Gu Bingyue extended a slender hand.
"A pleasure to meet you, Fairy Song. My little brother has told me so much about you."
Song Yan’s brows lifted slightly.
"Gu Linyuan?"
Gu Bingyue nodded once, smiling proudly.
"Ahh, yes. My baby brother."
She narrowed her golden eyes knowingly.
"I hope he didn’t cause your side any trouble."
Song Yan disliked the smug look on the woman’s face and the way she acted so innocent. It was very possible this very woman had sent Gu Linyuan to sabotage the Zhen family’s efforts at forming an upper-world alliance.
Rather than take the offered hand, Song Yan simply adjusted the folds of her violet robes.
The motion made her chest bounce noticeably.
Song Yan is never afraid to brag with her lovely body.
"Hmph."
Without a word, she walked right past Gu Bingyue as though the woman were invisible and gracefully took her seat.
Ye Zirou’s eyes widened a fraction in surprise, but she said nothing—especially since Gu Bingyue’s expression remained perfectly serene.
Gu Bingyue lowered her hand.
"Charming..."
She murmured softly.
She returned to her own ornate chair beside Song Yan’s and sat with impeccable poise.
Down below.
The organizers worked frantically to quiet the massive crowd so the first phase could finally begin.
Throughout it all, Auntie Chuyan couldn’t stop stealing glances at Li Qingmu.
『I should have recognized him from looks alone!』
She was still regretting her incompetence.
『Not many men in the lower realms possess such striking handsomeness. It has to be that sacred yang physique making him so naturally charming.』
She hadn’t even realized she’d been smiling at him the whole time with soft bedroom eyes.
Finally, Li Qingmu shot her a side-eye.
"Is there a problem, Auntie?"
Auntie Chuyan bowed her head just slightly to maintain that calm, mature smile.
"Greetings. I am the elder tasked with protecting the young lady and keeping her from making foolish decisions. I simply wish to apologize for Lingxi’s earlier behavior."
Auntie Chuyan is the type of woman who stays calm no matter what happens. She’s had this gentle smile on her face for the longest time. Even when Li Qingmu caught her off guard by noticing she was staring at him, her smile only softened a little but she still looked perfectly composed.
She looks a bit older than Chen Yuxuan.
But not in a worn-out, elderly way at all.
Chen Yuxuan has that super youthful, baby-like face paired with a full, curvy, motherly figure, so people easily call her a mature beauty. Auntie Chuyan, though, has a face that reads just a touch more mature. Her hips are noticeably wider and rounder... the kind that many big women develop in their middle years.
Those hips stand out a lot.
Her chest isn’t bigger than Yuxuan’s but her butt is definitely much larger and more prominent. The way she dresses makes it even sexier: that tight, slightly sheer light-blue dress clings to her curves and really highlights her rear, making it look extra tempting and desirable.
Auntie Chuyan is a true older woman.
Xu Lingxi scowled.
"Auntie, you’re overdoing it!"
Auntie Chuyan shook her head.
"Not at all, little miss. I simply don’t want you making enemies—especially not with someone who formed a Heaven-Dao Golden Core in the lower realms. He could be a valuable ally in the early stages of these exams."
She turned that calculative smile toward Li Qingmu.
"Would that be acceptable?"
Li Qingmu rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"As long as Lingxi gives me a personal apology."
Xu Lingxi immediately swatted her hand through the air.
"Absolutely not!"
She huffed, then stormed off to rejoin her group.
Auntie Chuyan kept smiling at Li Qingmu.
"I do have a small favor to ask of you... I’m sure you’d enjoy it more than anything. But only after I’ve smoothed things over between you and my little lady."
She gave a small nod of thanks and turned to leave.
The first thing Li Qingmu saw was her rear.
His brows shot up almost comically.
"Wow... she’s huge back there!"
He muttered under his breath.
Dong—! Dong—! Dong—!
The grand gongs rang out and powerfully silenced the entire plaza in an instant.
Gu Bingyue stepped forward to the edge of the central dais.
She was breathtaking.
Her face was the picture of fairy-like innocence.
Delicate features, an adorable small nose, lips like rose petals in full bloom. Yet those phoenix eyes were deep, cold and utterly unmoving which gave her the aura of a snotty goddess looking down from on high.
Her long green hair flowed like liquid jade, tied into a small, elegant bun at the crown and secured with an ornate golden hairpin that only amplified her noble bearing. The tight green daoist robes hugged her body perfectly to accentuate a proud chest that looked like ripe melons and sexy hips that swayed with refined grace.
She looked like an empress.
Perfect, noble, and dangerously alluring.
Male candidates throughout the crowd were already losing their minds.
"Immortal Fairy Gu Bingyue...!"
"They call her the Jade Phoenix Empress in the city and I can see why! Just look at her!"
"Those eyes... that figure... I’d give my entire cultivation just to kneel at her feet once."
"She’s too perfect—how does she even exist?"
Gu Bingyue offered them a cold, distant smile.
"I appreciate the warm reception."
She puffed her heavy chest out a bit more.
"But we are already behind schedule, so I’ll be direct."
She bit her fingernail charmingly.
"There are far too many of you here."
Then nibbled on the perfect nail some more.
"My only task today... is to reduce those numbers."
Li Qingmu blinked.
"Huh?"
