Chapter 1731: Silver Moon’s Giant Leap Forward (IV)

“Do as you wish.” Li Hao shrugged. “Is your image important or expelling impurities more important? For cultivators, the key is practicality.”

“How come you’re not farting?” retorted the Sword Sovereign. It felt like the kid had just wanted to see everyone make fools out of themselves!

“My entire body is full of impurities,” sighed Li Hao. “I’ve gotten so old that my body is on the verge of collapsing. If I fart, I’ll probably expel the last of my life!”

Those grumbling and dissatisfied fell silent upon hearing these words.

“This is a good dao,” Yuan Shuo said at this time. “It’s our fortune to have something to learn. Some don’t pass on any knowledge they have and keep it for themselves, improving their bodies with no thought for others. What’s bad about this?”

The rest agreed after some thought.

Li Hao smiled and brought out another world. “Alright, enough of that. Everyone’s busy learning this dao, so just pretend you haven’t seen anything. If it’s really so putrid that you can’t stand it, shut off your sense of smell!

“Improving one’s constitution and expelling impurities is exceedingly helpful when it comes to disorderly and confused dao. Someone like Big Claw who cultivates the chaos has too many random and scattered daos in him. There’s no need to pay attention to anything else apart from eliminating as many of his impurities as possible!

“If you cultivate for a few decades and expel them a couple of times a day, you’ll become an exalted emperor through your own efforts!”

The current Big Claw was incredibly astonished and excited. He wasn’t opposed to this dao at all.

“Thank you for your tutelage, milord!” He bobbed his head up and down. With his method, he felt that he could discard his impurities bit by bit and become an exalted emperor! It was just as the Silver Moon king had said, a dao that led to the heavens!

Indeed, in these people’s eyes, any sort of dao was one that sped straight for the exalted emperor level.

“Continue!” Li Hao chuckled. “I hope there will be new exalted emperors from this process! Silver Moon is currently a fourth rank mid world and can support only thirty exalted emperors, even with the twin dao universes.

“That number will not increase before Gan Wuliang and the others set foot into fifth rank. There are many within the dao universe already. Missing out on this opportunity will mean that you’ll have to wait for them to enter fifth rank!”

Expressions tightened throughout the crowd and those that were discomfited moments ago promptly vented smoke from their behinds! 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

It was easier to verify one’s dao if they expelled the impurities from their bodies!

After a brief internal struggle, Li Hao decided to secretly record the awe-inspiring scene. How grand was this view??

Of course, I won’t be sharing the recording. I’m not that type of person. Not to mention, there’s too much of a scent associated with these scenes. I’ll shove it into the river of great dao when a chance presents itself in the future. It’ll be a small surprise for future descendants to watch.

The dismantling of the worlds continued. Their dao nets were taken apart, dao strength assimilated with the people, world strength extracted, and countless dao crystals shattered. After that, Number Two ate some of the world origin and the rest went into Silver Moon.

Slowly but surely, Silver Moon and the dao universe began to grow at a furious pace!

The world also resolved itself with increasing clarity in other people’s eyes. Dao seemed to be a very simple notion!

A multitude of reflections began to form in the group after observing the same dao in many different worlds. Li Hao’s method not only helped them cleanse their bodies, but also facilitated the integration of dao strength.

Branches split off from the two dao rivers and grew bigger. Some cultivators were even bolder and proactively created a fork in the river. That also meant... that they were one step away from becoming an exalted emperor.

Void diligently maintained order as he always did. After he silenced a world, he also stilled all of its disorderly daos, then revitalized them and tossed them into the river of dao.

Li Hao was exceedingly haggard and aged by now; he almost lacked the ability to move. Continuously utilizing the power of time had stretched his body beyond its limits. It was up to Void and himself constantly revitalizing it that prevented it from fully collapsing.

And so, with this extreme display of decadence in constantly dismantling worlds and consuming dao crystals, everyone began to break through.

This opportunity was all too rare.

......

A variety of auras furiously exploded within the dao universe. There were the auras of the fist, blade, sword, spear... Everything flared.

The first to verify their dao was someone that surprised Li Hao. Even the Sword Sovereign took a second look. He recognized the person in question—they’d been alive when he left Silver Moon.

Li Daozong! The ninth division leader!

After Li Daoheng died, Li Hao had given his comprehension of sword dao to the ninth division leader. After years of accumulation and digesting that sword intent, Li Daozong’s sword intent rose to the heavens and he became the first to become an exalted emperor!

The Sword Sovereign sized up the man and blinked with regret when he read something. It was Li Daozong, not Li Daoheng. He didn’t ask any questions, but could tell that Li Daoheng had likely committed an act of treason and died for it. Li Daozong’s sword intent showed traces of his brother’s shadow.

There was no accompanying tribulation with the ninth division leader verifying his dao, as he did not do so through core origin. His body transformed and his great dao traversed the river, leaving beyond a long tendril of sword dao.

There was more than one cultivator of the sword, but there were also many different types of sword dao. It wouldn’t create much conflict if other sword cultivators wished to verify their dao. There would be trouble, however, if two people cultivated the exact same dao.

More started verifying their dao after the ninth division leader. This time, it came from the Silver Moon side.

Li Hao had thought that his master would be one of the first to find success, but the truth showed that he thought too much. Yuan Shuo hadn’t even set foot on that path yet, yet Sky Sword had already verified his sword intent.

Perhaps he was affected by the ninth division leader’s influence, or perhaps there were many sword welders here. Sky Sword’s thoughts were purer, so he verified his dao at a very fast pace.

That’s surprising! Li Hao simply took a glance. Those with purer thoughts didn’t mean that they were dumb. It simply meant that they possessed a sufficient understanding of the great dao and didn’t lack energy. Hence, it wasn’t too difficult to set foot into the exalted emperor level.

Even a brute like Southern Fist was starting to show signs of ascension. There might be an exalted emperor of boxing dao among them soon.

Panther and Hong Yitang had both set foot into fourth rank. The world expanded without end. Countless cultivators also furiously improved within it. This was a festival! A celebration of the greatest joy!

Li Hao paid the price of forty-six worlds and six billion dao crystals to fortify the world and all cultivators in a maddened rush. The seventh ranks also made their gains as well—not in terms of strength, but in terms of dao. Some things did not need to be explained, they just needed to observe for themselves. Witnessing a critical mass of a certain subject meant that they naturally understood many more things.

Li Hao also came to new understanding and gain of great dao.

Void even showed signs of being able to meld emptiness and revitalization. However, he suppressed those inclinations. If he verified his dao this way, he would be an exalted emperor of emptiness and revitalization. Instead, he needed to accumulate a bit more in order to become a seventh rank of six core daos.

......

On this day, all of Silver Moon undertook a significant improvement. And on this day, factions from the four regions throughout the chaos reached out to each other.

The appearance of New Martial and the Human King’s obvious strength, as well as the group at Skyward, became the hottest topics in the universe. Apart from Light being excluded from the discussions, countless worlds were exchanging counsel on how they might respond.

This was a disaster for the four regions! Danger of cataclysmic proportions was upon them!

......

This was a never-ending celebration! It was a joyous occasion of cultivation! No exalted emperor had ever expended so many resources for a group of non-exalted emperors. Many of the forty-some worlds were mid worlds. All of that was consumed to help a bunch of weaklings rise to exalted emperor!

There had also never been a cultivator of time who endlessly reversed time and traced the past just so a group of weaklings could observe dao and set their eyes upon the dao net.

None of this had ever happened before.

Was it worth it?

It wasn’t for many. It might be worth it if so many mid and minor worlds went to a few third ranks. Li Hao might be able to recruit a dozen exalted emperors to work for him in the span of a day. But using it for Empyrean Kings meant that he would only produce first ranks!

If he took in some third ranks, they would stand a chance of making it to fourth rank. That would be a group of mid ranks then. One fourth rank could fight two or three third ranks, five or six second ranks, and ten first ranks. Such was to be a mid rank!

But for Li Hao, why would he strengthen outsiders?

It makes me happy to waste resources. Those with money can afford to throw it around! Is ten billion dao crystals a lot?

To be honest, it was!

But I’m willing to use it like this! I like seeing those of Silver Moon laugh, be merry, be shocked, and rise to their feet with excitement. So what of it if I raise outside exalted emperors to fourth rank?

Exalted emperor upon exalted emperor appeared in the dao universe. First was the ninth division leader, then was Sky Sword.

After Sky Sword succeeded, the next was Director General Zhao! This defender had been one step faster than others. The dao river split into another branch to indicate his success.

With that, boxing intent filled the sky. Li Hao thought it was Southern Fist, but laughed when he turned his head.

Yao Si!

This old director of the Night Watchers had quietly verified his dao! His success infuriated Southern Fist to no end.

“Fuck that shit!” he roared. Southern Fist howled with irritation. His position as the foremost exalted emperor among boxing dao was gone! He was one step too late!

He’d been staring at Northern Fist instead as he didn’t pay much attention to Yao Si. In fact, he hadn’t thought much of the old man and felt that Yao Si would be slower than them. But no! This was an ambush!

That old fart’s pissing me off!

He’d just finished raging inside when a massive fist of dao appeared within the world. A furtive expression crept onto Northern Fist’s face as he leered at Southern Fist. Hey there, twerp! Who do you think you’re on the same footing as?

Southern Fist flew into a rage!
