Elyndra laughed lightly, brushing her nose against his. "You’re the one who asked about eternity. I’m only keeping my promise."

Ainsworth exhaled slowly.

"I already planned to," she whispered.

Ainsworth closed the small distance between them and kissed her again, this time deeper and more lingering than before.

Elyndra wrapped her arms around his neck and returned them just as naturally, as if the promise of eternity had settled into her heart.

When their lips finally parted, they were both breathing slightly unevenly.

A faint blush warmed Elyndra’s cheeks.

And just at that moment, as they both sincerely promised to be together for an eternity, they felt an irreplaceable bond form, linking both of their souls and entire beings.

Elyndra was unaware of the reason why she felt that way, but Ainsworth knew that it was the God-Level Lovers Talent being activated!

Despite being a God-Level Talent, the God-Level Lovers Talent was unique in the sense that the conditions for activating it were quite strict.

If Elyndra and he didn’t truly love each other and their love for each other wasn’t pure and sincere enough, then the God-Level Lovers talent wouldn’t activate and bind their souls together.

When it did, Ainsworth felt that his bond with Elyndra was unbreakable, and she felt the same. Although it was Ainsworth who possessed the main source of the God-Level Lovers talent, Elyndra possessed a derivative version of it that wasn’t worse than the original.

Soul Resonance allowed them to share each other’s powers, abilities, proficiencies, and even talents they possessed as long as it was below God-Level. As long as they consented to the request for borrowing the power they possessed, their other half can obtain their power.

An extreme usage of it could even allow them to possess all of each other’s power, as long as they dared to consent to their other half to borrow all of it.

In other words, if Ainsworth consented, then he could allow Elyndra to possess all the power he possessed except for the God-Level Talents, such as God-Level Cult Leader, God-Level Charm, etc.

Their soul bond also allowed them to feel each other’s presence and location regardless of distance. At least, the God-Level Lovers talent’s description that came with obtaining it had stated that as long as they were in the same multiverse, then nothing could separate them.

Due to that, one of the other Divine Abilities possessed by God-Level Lovers talent was usable under those conditions. That divine ability was none other than "Inseparable Bond".

Inseparable Bond allowed Ainsworth to teleport to Elyndra’s side and vice versa, regardless of distance and blockade. It would also activate if, for example, Elyndra were in a life-threatening situation, then she’d be teleported to Ainsworth’s side.

Furthermore, the soul-level connection they possessed allowed them to know each other’s life status, so Ainsworth could even summon Elyndra to his side without having to wait for the automatic activation of Inseparable Bond.

’I feel like there should be more divine abilities that the God-Level Lovers talent possessed other than Soul Resonance and Inseparable Bond. Unfortunately, due to the lack of power level, I couldn’t access them yet.’

Ainsworth didn’t hesitate.

The instant he consented, the divine ability of Soul Resonance stirred. A faint warmth spread through him, then flowed into Elyndra like a gentle current.

Elyndra inhaled sharply as the power surged into her body. It wasn’t painful, only overwhelming in its magnitude. It felt like suddenly realizing she had been holding her breath her whole life, and now her lungs were finally full.

"So this... this is your strength," she whispered, her golden eyes widening. "No wonder you talk about protecting me so casually."

Power flickered through her veins like lightning.

"With this..." A slow, confident smile formed on her lips. "I feel like cutting Mars, and even Jupiter wouldn’t be a problem."

Ainsworth chuckled. "Don’t cut planets unless you need to. I remembered wanting to cut Mars as well, but I can’t harm the solar system where Earth is in, or else it will inconvenience the rest of the world."

Elyndra nodded as she clenched her fist.

Since she couldn’t destroy Mars, doing a small test in the Monster World wouldn’t hurt.

She turned toward the endless ocean.
