Chapter 51: Buying A Car
"Your brother told you to shut up!"
Yammir looked at Zaiden with a smile.
This guy is sloppy and seems to be not serious, but he looks quite scary when he smiles with his squinting eyes.
Kaiden didn't dare to say anything, but he followed without giving up, and turned back to Tina and said with a solemn oath: "Tina, let's go and see how he embarrasses himself."
Yammir led the way and called a worker to open a glass display case, inside which was a rose-red Ferrari.
"Ryan, this is the best car at this exhibition, the Ferrari SF90..."
Yammir said casually: "The parameters and other things are public, so I won't go into details. I will give you a detailed introduction later."
"How about it?"
Ryan asked Yana in his arms.
Yana's heart raced uncontrollably as she stared at the dreamlike luxury supercar in front of her. Her words came out in a jumble: "Ryan, this car... this car must be so expensive..."
"My driving skills aren't good enough... No, it's too expensive. I can't take it."
Not only was Yana stumbling over her words, but Tina, who was seeing a supercar for the first time, also widened her eyes in awe. Even Kaiden couldn't hide the longing in his gaze as he admired the sleek, cool vehicle.
"I didn't even tell you how much it costs, and you're already saying it's expensive. Really?"
Ryan chuckled indulgently. Truth be told, the car's appearance alone screamed luxury, and even Ryan, who came from a modest background, felt a bit intimidated by it.
Yammir chimed in at the perfect moment: "It's not that expensive. The total cost is less than 3 million, which is less than the gifts your Brother Ryan has given you."
"This is the one!!!"
Ryan, eager to spend more, still wanted to confirm: "Brother Yammir, is this the most expensive one you have right now? If not, I don't want it."

As long as it was expensive, nothing else mattered...
This local tycoon was truly extravagant.
Everyone present was stunned. Even Yammir, a second-generation rich kid, was taken aback. He quickly replied, "Among the cars I have, this is the best one."
"Many luxury cars need to be pre-ordered, and it takes about half a year for them to arrive, plus customs clearance and other formalities. Only at large auto shows will there be a lot of stock available for immediate purchase."
"Then this one, where can I complete the formalities?"
Ryan looked slightly disappointed but said, "If there's any fancy car show next time, you must let me know right away."
Yammir was momentarily at a loss for words at such straightforwardness. He quickly recovered and said, "Let's talk upstairs!"
At the bar on the second floor, Yammir had already called his company staff to start handling the preliminary procedures.
Tina and Kaiden remained seated at the bar, sipping their drinks. Both were feeling a bit resentful, especially Kaiden, who was determined to see Ryan embarrass himself.
Zaiden asked with a smile, "Brother, what car do you usually drive? If you need maintenance, you can bring it here. Brother Yammir always offers the best prices."
"And don't worry about the mechanics here. They can maintain and repair any supercar and will never damage your car."
Kaiden coughed awkwardly upon hearing this. The cars driven by the members of this club were all worth over a million—either supercars or high-end luxury vehicles.
In comparison, his second-hand 5 Series, which he bought for about 100,000 dollar, seemed laughable. Normally, he wouldn't even qualify to join this club.
People here simply ignored him, and he only got in through a backdoor opportunity. Every time he came, he felt a pang of inferiority.
Ryan said sheepishly, "I still can't drive."
"Ah??"
As soon as these words left his mouth, everyone's eyes widened in shock, especially Tina. Although she hadn't bought a car, she did have a driver's license.
Zaiden was stunned: "No way, brother, you're pulling my leg."
Ryan, being an honest person, explained, "Really, I've always wanted to take the driving test, but I never got around to it."
Firstly, he hadn't saved enough money before, and secondly, Ryan had genuinely wanted to take the test. His previous dream was to drive for Uber or have his own ride-hailing vehicle. If that didn't work out, becoming a designated driver seemed like a profitable option.
If he couldn't find a job after graduating from college, driving a car and becoming a driver was a viable way to make a living.
Yammir walked over and said with a laugh, "No way, Ryan, you're so laid-back."
Ryan smiled awkwardly, scratching his head as he replied, "Besides, I like to drink a little wine, so driving isn't really suitable for me."
"With ride-hailing apps being so convenient now, and since I'm still in college, I don't really need to travel much." Ryan wasn't much of a talker, but he felt at ease chatting with them.
"I actually enjoy riding an electric scooter now. It's really comfortable."
Zaiden slapped his thigh and said, "You're absolutely right. Damn, the traffic in Brisbane is a nightmare."
"I was stuck in traffic on Road at noon today. My blood pressure shot up to 180. I was so annoyed watching those bicycles zip past me."
Yammir laughed, "Ryan, you're really carefree. Turns out you like this kind of drink too."
"Let's have a drink first. I don't have any fancy wine here, but there's a bottle of limited-edition Martell in the office. I don't know if you'll like it."
Zaiden added with a smile, "If you don't like it, I've got some wine stored at my place. I can have someone bring it over."
"Your place?"
Ryan and Yana looked at him, puzzled.
Seeing that Ryan was straightforward and easy to talk to, Yammir continued to joke, "You forgot? This guy called you 'stupid' in the group chat."
The young master of the Domina Hotel, Ryan, suddenly remembered the bottle of Louis XIII.
