Nobody really liked the plan Kyle created for the worst-case scenario, but it was literally their last lifeline and the only way all of them could survive.

The Fallen Olymp was not something they had any information about and the Guild Master might be able to catch all of them if something were to happen.

This was something they wanted to avoid, which was why they began to thoroughly investigate the Cave of the Lost Arc.

The Cave was nothing special because there were no beasts, no special ores, no crystals, or anything else of value. Nobody would spend their precious time searching through a cave like that, not if they were sane.

Only Kyle and his people were 'insane' enough to search through the valueless cave that harbored one of the most precious artifacts on Shima.

Slowly combing through every single tunnel inside the Cave of the Lost Arc, they spend several times before all of them knew every single tunnel-like their own home. The Cave of the Lost Arc was extremely complex and constructed despite looking simple and it took them much longer than expected.

However, that was great because it allowed their group to have much more leeway to hide from the Guild Master if he were to actually appear.

Nobody hoped this but everyone got a bad feeling. This bad feeling never disappeared and it hunted their small group every single day.

Kyle could be considered the calmest right now but even he had a really bad feeling. He didn't like that at all but the moment he was to show signs of growing nervous or feeling desperate, the others would just follow suit.

"Let's take a look at the Lost Arc now!" Kyle said trying to sound excited. However, the mood of the three women was definitely not great. They had avoided the Lost Arc by all means because it was partially at fault for what was happening to them. 𝒇𝑟e𝙚𝑤𝙚𝐛𝗻𝐨ν𝚎𝘭.c𝐨m

"If not for the Black Dragon, the Lost Arc and you being the 'key-wielder' all of that wouldn't have happened. Just how unfortunately can we be?" Selene complained the moment they stepped in the only place that was actually man-made.

A huge ten-meter tall black gate with numerous runes and unique hieroglyphs entered their view. It looked like the entrance to the Demon King's domain and Kyle smiled wryly when he saw the gate.

"I cannot open it!" Jaden complained the moment he stepped forward to open the gate in excitement.

The others tried to help but it wouldn't budge. Even after they tried to insert their cultivation energies inside the Gate it didn't move a tiny bit.

Only when Kyle inserted some soul force inside the Gate did the hieroglyphs on it start glowing golden. It was a dim glow that brightened up the more soul force Kyle inserted into the Gate.

Once Kyle and Arashi had used up their entire Soul force were they finally able to move the Gate. Opening the gate was still not easy but it worked, somehow.

Inside the huge hall, which their group was finally able to enter, they could see numerous huge figurines of various existences. All the figurines were tens of meters in height, standing on top of a huge pillar, making unique poses. They were made out of gold or a different golden material. Subtle golden energy radiated from each of the figurines, creating a tremendous pressure inside the hall that looked as glamorous as one could imagine.

Everything was either white in color from the marble that was used to cover the floor, the ceiling or the pillars that supported the huge hall, or it was golden in color from the ornaments that were everywhere.

"Well that is what I call elegant," Selene mumbled with a faint smile of excitement on her face. She could barely hide the emotions that surged through her body. Selene felt elevated and she wanted to share this feeling with the others. 𝒇𝑟e𝙚𝑤𝙚𝐛𝗻𝐨ν𝚎𝘭.c𝐨m

However, upon looking over she realized that this was not necessary. The others could already feel the same as she sensed. They were baffled and could barely control their body as they looked at every single figure in shock.

"Those are…statues of Gods, aren't they?" Beatrice asked while Yasmine could only nod.

"I guess so. But the Lost Arc seems even more impressive," Kyle could only say, his gaze drawn over to the huge white ring that had black and golden ornaments all over it. The hollow ring had a radius of more than 20 meters. It was humongous and released a higher pressure than all of the God statues together.

"So that's the Lost Arc…" Kyle mumbled as he took a step closer.

The pressure around him increased at once but he didn't stop there. Kyle continued to walk ahead, one step after another.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop him, even after the pressure increased to an extent where he was barely able to stay conscious. His body felt like it weighed several tons but he didn't want to give up. Something pulled him toward the huge ring that was definitely the Lost Arc.

He wanted to approach it, activate the Lost Arc, and enter the Fallen Olymp. His entire being screamed to him, telling him that it was a necessity!

However, Selene and the others rushed over to him the moment they regained their senses.

"Hold your horses, Kyle! We don't know what will happen if you activate the Lost Arc right now…" Yasmine tried to talk Kyle into sense. This didn't work well, which was why Selene chose to use the argument she was the best with; violence.

She punished Kyle in the gut with all her might, and only when Kyle landed on the ground did he regain his senses. Kyle was trying hard to breathe. He struggled but he had regained his senses.

Meanwhile, Jaden's commentary could only be heard from the side,

"Am I lucky not to have such a psychopathic woman as my lover…"

Kyle didn't comment this but both Yasmine and Beatrice smiled lightly.

"I'm still drawn to activate the Lost Arc but I think I can control myself now…at least a bit," Kyle said when he finally got back to his senses.

Breathing was still a bit difficult and the aftermath of Selene's punch were not to be underestimated but Kyle simply accepted it as a lesson.

His soul force was rapidly replenished thanks to the energies around him. They nourished his body quickly and allowed him to recuperate with a shocking speed.

In only half an hour, Kyle was perfectly fine once again. His gaze never left the Lost Arc, while the girls and Jaden looked through the hall. They were impressed and could imagine cultivating here. That was if the golden energy-like strands were not pulled inside the Lost Arc.

"Maybe we should do something with the Lost Arc. If it's possible to make use of it, we may be able to cultivate much faster…" Yasmine said as she tried to figure out what exactly the golden energy was. She had never seen or felt an energy like this.

The closest to the golden energy was probably Kyle's soul force. However, even that was inferior.

"I…don't think we have time to bother about cultivating…" Kyle suddenly said as his face turned ashen white when the Black Dragon's voice resounded in his head

[He is here!]
