Sovereign of the Ashes-Chapter 1433: Yuele the Dark Elf Queen
For the cannon fodder legions of Pyreling World, Sein had already dispatched mages from the Divine Tower of Ashes to handle their management and deployment.
The dark creature legion, however, was another matter.
Since its founding, the Divine Tower of Ashes had publicly dedicated itself to combating black mages and underground dark creatures within Ashenreach.
Many full-fledged mages had crossed paths with dark creatures during their training.
If Sein were to deploy these underground dark creatures as his own forces openly, it would be hard to justify to those working for him.
However, the demigod-level Dark Elf Queen disagreed with Sein.
As Lorthisra’s subordinate and a native of the Grand Elven World, the Dark Elf Queen often approached matters more cunningly and directly than Magus World mages like Sein.
“Master, you are overthinking this,” she said bluntly.
“We’re in the midst of the Clash of Civilizations. Every being of the Magus World and Magus Alliance has a duty to lend their strength to the Magus Civilization. Even the black mages of Blackhaven can be justified in fighting for us now. So why worry that deploying dark creature legions might stir suspicion or discontent?” the Dark Elf Queen asked.
“If you look at it from another perspective, the fact that these underground dark creatures are willingly offering their strength to the Magus Civilization is proof of the success of your governance in Ashenreach,” She smiled radiantly.
“Oh? That is indeed an interesting perspective.” Sein cast a surprised glance at her.
The Dark Elf Queen was breathtakingly beautiful. Her skin was as dark as midnight velvet, and her figure was perfectly proportioned.
How could her breasts be so full while her waist remained so slender?
When Lorthisra handed these Dark Elves over to Sein, she had made it clear he could do with them as he pleased.
Aside from the queen standing before him, there were around five thousand Dark Elves in Ashenreach. Most of them were female.
This fallen race differed most from the other elves of the Grand Elven World in that they lived under a matriarchy.
The Dark Elf Matriarch and the female High Priests held the highest positions in their clan. This was an outcome deliberately shaped by the Spider Queen.
After gaining control of the Dark Elves, Sein had done nothing with them aside from conducting some experimental research.
In Ashenreach, their main responsibilities were overseeing and organizing the underground region, as well as serving as one of the conduits between Sein and the Spider Queen.
Thanks to their strict governance, Ashenreach’s underground was far more orderly than the chaotic depths of the former Darwell Region.
The Dark Elf Queen’s words reminded Sein that since the Clash of Civilizations began, countless Rank Four and higher knights and mages of the Magus Civilization had turned traitor.
Yet curiously, the black mages, though shunned by the Magus World and relentlessly hunted by divine towers and knight orders, had scarcely been implicated in any betrayal during this time.
Were black mages truly more loyal to their mother civilization than the Rank Four and above powerhouses raised in divine towers and knightly orders?
To Sein, the very idea was absurd.
He reasoned instead that this was due to the Magus World’s strict oversight of black mages. The Magus Civilization had thoroughly vetted every Rank Four or higher black mage.
They might be twisted in their research and run rampant within their own turf, but their loyalty to the civilization was assured.
Alternatively, perhaps some hidden force within the black mages was deliberately purging those who harbored disloyalty toward their homeplane.
No matter how wicked black mages were, they were still part of Magus World. They could love their homeplane and dedicate themselves to its survival too.
Because of this, as the Clash of Civilizations progressed, the general populace of Magus World had begun to shift their views of the black mages.
It made no sense that black mages could unite into armies serving the Magus Civilization, while Sein was still here, hesitating to deploy the dark creatures of Ashenreach.
After reaching this conclusion, Sein exhaled softly and declared, “Then these dark creature legions shall fall under the responsibility of your clan.”
“I hear you have acquired some Abyssal sub-dragon species as mounts?” Sein asked.
“Not many. The main clan of the Abyssal Dragons dwells deep underground, far to the north of the Magus Continent. The hybrids that came to Ashenreach numbered no more than two hundred in total. At most, only a hundred of them are suitable as mounts,” the Dark Elf Queen replied.
“Well, do your best. I have faith in your clan’s abilities. If you need any resources, you may apply directly to the Goddess of Wealth. I’ll speak highly of you to the Spider Queen,” Sein said.
“And during this period, you may try to recruit more dark creatures from the underground beyond Ashenreach,” he suggested.
At present, the Magus Civilization had channeled all its energy and attention into the Clash of Civilizations.
It was unlikely anyone would notice Sein’s consolidation of underground creatures around Ashenreach.
Even if someone discovered it, it would matter little. These dark creatures would eventually be drafted into armies for the Clash of Civilizations and posed no threat to the divine towers or knightly orders of Magus World.
There were no grounds for anyone to impeach Sein.
“Understood,” the Dark Elf Queen answered respectfully.
As he studied her, Sein gradually realized she was a capable talent. Otherwise, the Spider Queen would never have entrusted her with overseeing smuggling operations and spreading her faith in such a strategically vital place as Ashenreach.
After letting his gaze linger for a moment on the queen’s chest, Sein suddenly asked, “Your name is Yuele, correct?”

The Dark Elf Clan truly lived up to their reputation as the “fallen race” of the Grand Elven World.
Compared to the purity of ordinary elves, these fallen elves were clearly far more “adventurous”.
Though Yuele had never undergone body tempering, she could still please Sein immensely with her special techniques and skills.
Since returning to the Magus World, Sein had been weighed down by thoughts of Natalya.
With Reina absent, he had no outlet for his pent-up frustration, and no ordinary mages could withstand a body-tempering mage like him.
A single session of unrestrained indulgence with the Dark Elf Queen helped clear his head.
What shocked him most was that this was Yuele’s first time.
When he saw the dark red blood, Sein immediately remembered that among the elves, the throne could only be passed to a virgin.
It seemed the Dark Elves had inherited this custom as well.
Still, he could not help but wonder where Yuele had learned all those techniques.
