Sovereign of the Ashes-Chapter 1320: Pyreling World War (I)
The once calm spatial vortex suddenly erupted in a terrifying downpour of energy.
The magitech of the Magus Civilization delivered a harsh lesson to these extraplanar beings.
Under the overwhelming advantage of civilizational superiority, only those at Rank Four or above could retreat in time with all their strength.
For lesser creatures, even those at Rank Three, just a moment’s hesitation in the face of dense energy beams and elemental rain would leave them reduced to a bloody pulp!
Maybe the Pyrelings’ proud lava carapaces could withstand a few, or even a dozen beams from different directions.
But what about a hundred? A thousand? Ten thousand?!
The elemental torrent unleashed by the Magus Civilization’s magitech was enough to obliterate everything in its path.
This was a counterattack even more intense than the full-force strike unleashed by the Rank Five Pyremperor earlier.
When Sein’s Ashen Fortress passed through the space gate and arrived in Pyreling World, its massive hull and cold metallic appearance made the low-level native creatures mistake the fortress from a foreign civilization for a Rank Five creature!
But more than its appearance, it was the elemental flames erupting from its cannons and other weapon systems that truly shook the natives of Pyreling World.
On the desolate demiplane, the lower-ranking knights and mages of Magus World watched as the Ashen Fortress approached the space gate and unleashed its full firepower at the other side.
Then, with a sudden “whoosh”, the entire fortress shrank, transforming into a slender, elliptical beam of light that vanished from its original location.
Only the massive sinkhole beneath the space gate and the chaotic elemental energy swirling in the area were left to prove that what just happened was real.
Right after the Ashen Fortress entered the space gate, the Cercis Shield Fortress followed.
Though its firepower was slightly weaker than the Ashen Fortress, Marcus gave the order to fire without holding back, and the results were still devastating!
Marcus appeared beside Sein and said in a low voice, “Let’s get moving.”
Since Murg was seriously injured, it was best for them to take the lead.
Sein nodded, then transformed into his demonic form once again before charging into the space gate without hesitation.

On the other side, beyond the spatial vortex of Pyreling World...
The quaking ground, roiling lava, and scattered corpses painted a scene straight out of a post-apocalyptic nightmare.
Even the sky was blood-red.
Sein, now standing on this side, looked on with quiet satisfaction at what the Ashen Fortress had achieved.
It would be perfect if its energy consumption could be lowered a bit more.
As he gazed into the distance, he spotted four deities of Pyreling World floating in the blood-colored sky not far away, all seething with rage.
One Rank Five and three Rank Fours—the strength of this plane was enough to make Sein raise an eyebrow.
He wondered if this low-level plane had more hidden trump cards up its sleeve.
Beside him, the Ashen Fortress and the Cercis Shield Fortress continued to open fire.
Thanks to the Magus Civilization’s magitech, the two space fortresses theoretically had the ability to strike any location on Pyreling World with their ultra-long-range firepower.
Dozens of large, colorful magic shields shimmered across the surfaces of the fortresses.
Although many had broken or shattered under the onslaught, new layers quickly formed beneath them, reinforcing the defenses.
The Ashen Fortress had already taken noticeable damage. A charred patch marked its lower left side, and at least fifty external magic cannons had been destroyed.
In that damaged area, strange black void-eating flames still burned.
Sein was not concerned about the damage. What really caught his attention was the unfamiliar nature of the flames.
“Another new type of pyro elemental law?” he mumbled, eyes fixed on the Rank Five Void Eater with a mix of curiosity and greed.
For some reason, even though it was stronger than Sein by nature, Void Eater felt an absurd sense of being seen through by this Rank Four demonic-looking figure that had just emerged from the vortex.
Void Eater was not the only one who felt that way. As Sein’s gaze swept left and right, the other three Rank Four Pyremperors grew equally uneasy under his stare.
Sein’s eyes lingered a few seconds longer on Blue Lotus, thinking to himself that if he could capture this Rank Four pyro elemental plant alive and bring it back to Lorianne, she would definitely be delighted with such a rare specimen!
“Are you the foreign creature spying on our Pyreling World? You have no idea what kind of world you have provoked!” the Rank Five Pyremperor roared at Sein.
But the roar paled in comparison to Sein, who just descended with two space fortresses behind him.
As Void Eater’s voice faded, a purple figure began to slowly emerge from the spatial vortex.
It was Marcus, the Rank Five knight. His descent into this low-level plane was far more challenging than Sein’s, due to the intense repulsion of the planar will.
Even so, with the two fortresses and Sein having already carved a path through the resistance, nothing could stop Marcus now.
As he drew closer to Pyreling World, a deep purple shield of light slowly formed in front of him.
One of the biggest differences between Rank Four and Rank Five beings was how fully their laws could take form. Marcus, in particular, was a master of defense.
Through the Faceless Mask, Sein observed that the laws Marcus commanded went beyond simple defense—they also included attributes like “force reflection” and “penetration”.
A Rank Five knight like this was definitely not someone to be taken lightly!
“Stop them!” Void Eater roared again, before charging at Sein and the others together with the other three Pyremperors.
Under the Pyremperors’ divine command and the coordinated orders of the guardian, millions of combat creatures began surging toward the battlefield from every direction across Pyreling World.
This world truly lived up to its reputation as one of the prime planes for producing enslaved creatures—it had remarkable war potential.
A few million Pyrelings were nowhere near its full strength.
Given more time to prepare, the major pyre nations could easily rally tens of millions of elite Pyreling troops!
When the four Pyremperors launched their assault, Sein met them head-on without hesitation. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Marcus’ arrival progressed smoothly.
Though he had not fully descended into the plane, his power projection had already reached its peak. That massive purple shield was a true embodiment of his origin laws.
And alongside them, both space fortresses had activated their high-power firing modes.
Sein’s Ashen Fortress housed several secret weapons specifically designed to target beings at Rank Four and above.
Once activated, they could even pose a serious threat to a Rank Five Pyremperor.
Meanwhile, the two fortresses that had fully descended upon Pyreling World began to open their lower hatches.
From those hatches, an overwhelming tide of enslaved creatures poured out, surging across the battlefield.
Compared to the earlier legions, these had been carefully selected, and they were even more savage.
It was the arrival of these two fortresses, along with the sheer scale of the Magus World’s ground forces, that finally made the Pyremperors realize this was not just a case of two foreign evil gods stirring up trouble.
This was the beginning of an all-out war!
