Vivian didn't really know what to expect. Her experience with video games was extremely limited. Even in this Virtual Reality environment, the extent of her playtime had been anything but ordinary.

It had consisted of three things:

1. Logging in for the first time and meeting a literal Goddess who makes her her apostle, granting her a variety of gifts for accepting the privilege.

2. Training a movement skill as a trial from her Goddess.

3. Headed to a meeting where a bunch of other gods showed up and their cute leader was the centre of a massive debate amongst themselves.

Now she was supposed to play in this medieval fantasy world and kill monsters or something? None of it made any sense to her.

Having been raised in the Orphanage, her childhood had consisted of Prayers, Martial arts training, gunmanship and working with blades. To the civilized society, that was all the hallmarks of a child soldier but she had viewed it as normal.

The world of fantasy and magic were things that she had never even crossed her mind until she had seen what Aria and Crystal had done that day at the theatre.

She glanced towards Ethan who was twirling his spear around as if he was trying to get more familiar with it. She had to admit that she did envy him a little bit when it came to this sort of situation.

She was envious of the fact that he could act so nonchalantly even when surrounded by so many people. She wondered how he could keep being himself despite it all. Though she would never outright say it, Ethan was the rock she had relied on when it came to living at the Orphanage.

If she had lost him back then, she wouldn't have had any clue on what to do. She was concerned when his split personality disorder surfaced but she had figured it was because he struggled to keep up with the curriculum the Orphanage had laid out. If not for the fire, she wasn't sure how much longer he would have lasted.

"So, when is your little brother coming?" Ethan asked, having already grown tired of twirling his spear. He was also getting a little sick of the attention that they were getting standing around here. Especially at the men who were leering at his sisters chest.

Though he was utterly sure hat if anyone actually tried anything with her, they would have their skulls caved, it was still an uncomfortable feeling to see. He wanted to get out of the village and hit something. He wanted to put his skills to the test!

Morgan looked a bit exasperated after the call had ended but still relayed the message that Jamie had given him: He would be there soon.

"Well tell him to hurry up!" Ethan growled with annoyance but Vivian kept her cool. Or at the very least she was calm on the surface at the mention of Morgan's brother.

Vivian kept her gaze fixed on the cobblestone path ahead, her thoughts heavy but focused. She wanted to ask Morgan what sort of person Jamie really was. From what little she had seen from him, he was someone loud, playful and maybe a little overconfident. But that didn't change the fact she wanted to know about his own past. This was one of the few times that she had actually taken an interest in someone outside of her own makeshift family. However, before she could ask, a voice called out from behind them.

"Hey! Morgana! Tera! Dante!"

The trio turned almost in unison.

Rounding the corner came a figure that made all three of them blink in disbelief. The person was small, delicate even, with soft features and skin that seemed to glow faintly beneath the afternoon light. The leather armor they wore was clearly meant for an archer, but the design was far too elegant for practicality. The breastplate curved gracefully, the straps hugged their slender frame, and the cloak that hung from their shoulders fluttered lightly in the breeze. Their long black hair trailed behind them in waves, glossy and dark as midnight, framing a face that looked far too pretty for a boy.

Vivian's first thought was that it had to be a girl. A really cute one. Then she saw the unmistakable smirk tugging at the corner of those lips. Her stomach sank.

"Jamie…?" Morgan said slowly.

Jamie grinned. "In the flesh. Or, you know, whatever this is. Pixels? Whatever works."

Ethan's tail flicked once. "You look… the same as you do in the real world....I don't know how I am supposed to feel about that."

Vivian looked away quickly, heat rushing to her cheeks as she tried not to focus on how feminine his outfit was. It was ridiculous to her that she couldn't even look at someone properly. She needed to get her act together.

Crealia's voice echoed inside Jamie's head, full of disbelief. What in the heavens? Three of God's chosen standing here together in such a lowly place? What is this?

Jamie blinked and muttered under his breath. "Oh, so now you decide to speak up. Where was this energy when I was dying in a swamp?"

Morgan frowned. "You talking to yourself again?"

"Just my very helpful Goddess," Jamie said, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "She's a little late to the party but at least she's here now."

Crealia gasped inside his mind. You are being most disrespectful!

Jamie smiled sweetly at nothing in particular. "Oh, forgive me, Your Holiness. Please, by all means, continue judging me. I live for the disapproval of the Crybaby Goddess~!"

Morgan exchanged a look with Ethan, who sighed.

"I am starting to think that you will never change....and I thought I was the crazy one," Ethan said, the last part mumbled under his breath.

Jamie's smile widened. "Of course I have. I'm fabulous no matter where I go~!" He spun on his heel, the short cloak flaring out just enough to emphasize how well the outfit suited him. "What do you think? Too much? Or am I just too adorable~!?"

Morgan pinched the bridge of his nose. "I'm not calling you 'Princess Archer,' if that's what you're hinting at."

Ethan nodded firmly. "Seconded."

Jamie clicked his tongue in annoyance. "You two are no fun. Fine, if you have to call me something, use Prince or Arch when in public chat."

Vivian bit back a small smile despite herself. He was impossible to deal with, but there was something reassuring about his presence. The energy he brought felt different from before, more playful but also strangely steady, like he was forcing himself to act normal for their sake.

Crealia hummed inside his mind again. So those three are part of your company? How curious. Each of them carries divine favor. I can sense it clearly.

Jamie tilted his head slightly as if listening to a distant sound, then spoke aloud again. "Yeah, they're all special apparently. Guess you're going to tell me that means something, huh?"

It means much, she said. But for now, you should keep your voice down. Mortals might think you are speaking to yourself.

Jamie's smirk returned. "Oh please, they probably just think I'm rehearsing for a play. Look at me." He gestured dramatically at his outfit. "Clearly I'm the star."

Morgan groaned quietly while Ethan muttered something under his breath about "Drama Queens."

Jamie then cleared his throat, pretending that he didn't hear that and asked "So...Where are we meeting our fearless leader? I really wanna compare our cuteness levels in person~!"

Ethan frowned again before directing his gaze towards Morgan as if to ask was this thing really his brother. Morgan ignored the questioning gaze and instead recalled the location that Leo had mentioned in passing before they logged in.

"We need to meet them at the Village of Elves." he remarked which caused Jamie's eyes to widen in shock.

"Really? That's where Leo is? That place was found by the general playerbase like a week ago. You're telling me that Leo and everyone else discovered it three months ago?! All of them must be real monsters!"

Ethan looked at the other members of the group and asked the one question he could think of "So how are we getting there? Walking? That seems like it could be a bit far."

Jamie scoffed and waved his dainty little hand in dismissal. "No way. That would be such a pain. We will take a teleporter there~!"

"Teleporter?" Vivian asked with a hint of surprise. Ethan and Morgan also seemed to be surprised at the idea as Jamie explained "About a month ago, this guy completed a quest and as a result, Teleport crystals have been installed in most major villages and cities. Just gotta pay a toll fee.....and before any of you ask, I will pay for you all this time~!"

Leo and the others had no idea that the gathering of the group would take such a short amount of time. Nor were they ready for the chaos the final member of the Pantheon was going to bring with them.
