Slime Leveling [Litrpg, Timeloop]-Chapter 180—You cannot be special
While everyone was focused on Giliberu, who tried his best to control his body, Gabu walked out of the storage room holding a flask of yellow liquid.
The woman he freed still lay blindly; he pulled her to the front of the entrance and walked out.
Giliberu and the goblins were a little away, on the center side of the village.
Amid the commotion, no one noticed Gabu.
He grinned with a gleam in his eyes as he noticed no one around him.
He tossed the flask in the air, and the liquid splashed into the air.
He exhaled blue mana, scattering the liquid into the air, and small drops spread throughout the village via the wind of blue energy.
Guided by mana, the droplets ignored the natural wind; they just went on in the direction of Giliberu.
'What's this?' Giliberu mused, biting his teeth as a few yellow drops fell on his demonic force, and black veins—coiling around him.
No drop managed to touch him; however, he sensed a sweet, flavorful smell.
'Something's wrong,' he thought as his already heavy eyes started to close involuntarily. His vision began to spin.
Thud!—a goblin kid dropped to the ground nearby.
"I'm feeling sleepy."
"I'm dizzy,"
Goblins suddenly started to rub their eyes as they started to lose concentration.
Thud!
Thud!
Goblin kids, however, directly fell to the ground, snoring heavily.
"It's Star Jasstella Flower. Who is it? Who used it?" the Goblin Lord roared, his voice cracking high.
He scowled as his voice spread throughout the goblin village.
Gabu, hearing the Goblin Lord's roar, grinned widely. "Breathe it… Young lord. I'll make sure to destroy you thoroughly."
His eyes flashed with a gleam of red light as he calmly walked forward.
"Lord… we have to do something…" Elder Goblin hissed, holding onto his wooden staff as he flared with demonic force.
"It won't fully affect us." He continued clenching his staff tightly, as black energy suppressed his sleepiness. "But Young Lord is different; he is already mentally exhausted and still has focus."
Goblin Lord bared his teeth as he glanced at the unsteady goblins, and he roared, "Where is Gabu?"
Gibr replied, opening his shuting eyes, "He was here a few moments ago."
"Damn it, damn it. I should have killed him before…" the Goblin Lord roared, his voice piercing.
"Gilly, you covered your nose…" he asked, his eyes cold. "You know your dad was planning this, weren't you?"
Gilly trembled, his heart raging to his throat.
Taking a few steps back, he stammered, "No, no. I don't know anything."
"Foolish brat." He took out his axe from his magic pouch and threw it at Gilly, enhancing it with demonic force.
Thud!
The two-meter axe, glowing with black demonic force, was stopped by a long, heavy sword, glowing with the same demonic force.
Gilly was still shaking, not even able to stand up.
"GABUUU." Goblin Lord hissed, glancing at the person who held the sword.
Gabu had jumped in the middle to protect his son.
"You idiot… Gabu," a goblin with an eyepatch yelled, though his voice was weak.
"Fool."
"You shouldn't have done it."
"I shouldn't have supported you."
Goblins barked, pointing their fingers at Gabu.
Gabu just sneered at them, muttering, "Cowards who can't even take revenge for their sons."
Goblins' eyes turned crimson at his words; however, in the next moment, they fell to the ground instantly, snoring.
Only Goblin Lord and Gabu were fully awake. Elder Goblin was zoned out, opening his eyes only for a few moments in between.
Even Gilly, who tied a leaf to his nose, fell asleep.
'Damn it…' Giliberu thought, clenching his jaw, as his sleepiness hit its peak; his right hand broke free.
He blacked out for a few seconds — enough for his body to adjust.
He roared internally, 'Sleep cannot stop me.' He forced his consciousness back as his little energy reserves, which had recovered, erupted from him, wiping out sleepiness.
But a few moments of blackness had been enough for his body, as it totally broke free.
A single Demonic Bind was never enough to restrain his body; only with the combined power of himself and Demonic Bind did his body stop.
Now that his body had lost suppression from Giliberu, the pink aura finally surged out.
Gabu grinned at Giliberu, who walked forward slowly. "You must be like any other goblin."
He yelled at Goblin lord, still holding on against demonic force from the axe with his sword, "Your son cannot be special… he must be a regular pathetic goblin, and I'll make sure of it."
"Demonic Bind!" the Goblin Lord cast, with veins popping around his eyes.
A new set of vines popped up from the ground and coiled around Giliberu's body.
"Demonic Bind," the Elder Goblin cast, as he managed to spot Giliberu moving forward.
Gibr, half-snoring, forced his eyes open and cast, waving his hands, "Demonic Bind."
"It's all I can do, my lord," he said as he fell to the ground, snoring.
"How much longer should I suppress it?" Giliberu muttered as his body was forced to stop with 3 Demonic Bind spells.
'Five percent left.' He noted his demonic force reserves.
In the next moment, the pink aura suddenly burst out with more energy, breaking free from all demonic veins.
Gabu laughed.
His laughter rang throughout the entire goblin village.
"I'll not lose control!" Giliberu yelled as he suddenly fell to the ground; the pink aura vanished.
[ Ding! You withstand the Carnal Impulse second strike! ]
[ Ding! You have overcome Carnal Impulse 2/6!
Next strike approximate time: 5-10 years!
Note: It will stay dormant for some time to accumulate energy; be cautious of the next strike! ]
[ Ding! If you overcome 6 Carnal Impulse strikes, you'll unlock your full potential as the goblin! ]
'So it was an all-outburst,' Giliberu mused, grinning as he finally let his eyes close. 'Even my sleep cannot rule me.'
The potion had faded, but his mind was spent.
And his energy reserves were almost spent, coming close to fainting.
"Good, good." Goblin Lord grinned widely.
"He created a miracle...yet again," Elder Goblin muttered, letting himself black out fully.
"What?" Gabu's eyes widened in shock.
