Sinner System-Chapter 439: Realized Soon
"Hey, Kai, I’m home," Aria greeted me as she walked into my room, covered in dust and looking pretty pleased.
"Hey, welcome back, Aria. You seem like you’re in a pretty good mood," I responded as I glanced up from the bed, before quickly sitting up and grabbed her shoulders as she began to try and flop onto the bed, "Woah, stop! Sorry, but, uh...maybe take a shower first."
"Huh? Oh, I’m all dusty...my bad, didn’t even notice," She grinned sheepishly.
"It’s cool, no harm done. So, what’s got you so upbeat?" I asked her, as she took off her clothes and put them in the laundry basket, before taking a towel out of Treasury and heading for the bathroom.
"I’ll tell you after I shower. After I noticed it, I suddenly feel really unclean," She replied with a wry smile, before opening the bathroom door and going in, shutting the door behind her.
It’s a bit late, past 11 PM. We headed home shortly after we wrapped up our training session with Cleo, and Aria then decided to head outside the Sanctuary to work on whatever she’s been upto in secret.
I guess it must have gone well, maybe she’ll tell me what exactly is it that she’s working on. Though, knowing her, she might decide to keep it a secret until she fully masters it.
Anyway, it didn’t take too long before she got done with her shower, stepping out in a loose-fitting tank top and shorts, with her towel draped around her shoulders, her hair slightly damp and matted down.
She then leapt onto the bed, bouncing slightly as she hit the mattress, before rolling across and playfully bumping into me, giving me a kiss on the cheek before cuddling up to me.
I put my arm around her as she snuggled up, gently stroking her hair as she stifled a yawn and placed her head on my chest.
"So, how’d it go?" I asked her with a smile.
"Really good, I had a pretty great breakthrough! Though, it’s only the first step out of many, I still have a long way to go before I get a proper handle on this new technique. But I’m definitely on the right track," She grinned in response.
"That’s great to hear, can’t wait to see it in action. So, what exactly is it?" I inquired curiously.
"I’ll show you soon. With my current grasp over it, it’ll be really tough to demonstrate it properly and safely. But rest assured, you’ll be the first to see it once I’m ready to unveil it," She replied with a smile.
"Alright, I’ll look forward to that. You certainly seem excited about it, so I’m more than a little intrigued."
"Heh, sorry to keep you in suspense," She smiled apologetically.
"It’s cool. Wanna get some sleep now? You look pretty tired," I suggested, as she rubbed the corner of her left eye drowsily.
"Yeah, sounds good...I really exerted myself out there, so I could definitely use some shut eye," She nodded, before I pulled the covers over us and switched the lights off with my I-Watch.
"Alright, then...goodnight, Aria."
"Mhm, goodnight, Kai...see you in the morning."

"Yes! Finally, I’ve figured it out," I smirked triumphantly.
"What have you figured out, my Lord?" Suddenly came Spektar’s voice, startling me slightly.
"Must you sneak in every time?" I sighed in exasperation.
"Well, I am literally incapable of knocking, so...," He trailed off sheepishly.
"Just announce yourself or call out or something next time," I responded with a frown.
"Understood, I shall keep that in mind. Anyway...what are you upto, my Lord?"
"My Personalis Arma, Dimension Breaker...I’ve gained a sense of clarity and understanding over it, at long last," I replied, as I clutched the weapon with a smile.
A black staff with a dark red, jagged crystal at the end, Dimension Breaker, my Personalis Arma, through which I can deploy the Dungeons into the human world.
It is extremely complex, I’ve spent centuries trying to figure it out. It has so many restrictions and conditions, so it quite difficult to make sense of. But over the last decade, and especially over the last two or three years, I have managed to comprehend its functionality much better.
When I sent Fenelza to the human world, in a single-floor Dungeon that can be exited much faster, that was something of a fluke, I barely pulled it off.
But now, not only have I figured out how to do that at will, but I have also surmised how to utilize some of the other options Dimension Breaker can cast, options that were beyond me before.
With this, at long last, I can finally force this long conflict to its inevitable climax, and wipe out every last human off the face of the Earth.
"I see...does that mean you will be making your next move soon? With how the boundary between the worlds has been stabilizing and repairing over the last few months, I would imagine that the Monsters you’ve deployed have killed close to zero humans," Pointed out Spektar.
"Yes, I am aware, but I expected as much. It was simply a measure to keep the humans occupied, and I only deployed the weaker species among our forces, so it was no great loss. The humans have had it easy, but it is simply the calm before the storm, and I would imagine that they are well-aware of that.
Even so, they’re not ready for what’s about to come. This lull will end tomorrow, I shall make my next move in a matter of hours. Prepare to ready our forces, I shall specify which of them to deploy shortly," I instructed him.
"Very well, understood, Lord Vaszel."
"It shall not be much longer before this war between our two worlds comes to an end. Our conquest of the human world will be realized soon, very soon indeed," I declared with a smirk...
