Suddenly, she retracted the spider legs and flew up into the air with immense speed, the scythe-like blades over her wrists reverting to hands, forming flames in her right hand and wind in her left hand.

I was right, she can switch between clawed hands and scythe blade-hands at will. How enviably versatile...

She then combined the wind and flames, the flames intensifying sharply before she launched the attack at me, following it up with a rapid, concentrated blast of lightning from her mouth.

I formed Drain in front of myself, swallowing up the attacks before I felt a chill as she shot across the air and unleashed a freezing wave of frosty air down towards me.

I raced away before the cold wave could fully engulf me, a thin layer of frost having formed over my hair and shoulders, before she swooped down towards me.

She extended the spider legs back out, landing on them and skittering towards me rapidly, before suddenly retracting them again and launching herself towards me with a burst of wind and a powerful flap of her wings.

Her hands morphed into scythe blades as she closed in and drove the right blade towards my head, narrowly missing as I tilted my head across, before she whipped the left blade across as she pulled back her right arm, while simultaneously sending her snake tail zipping out towards me.

Her eyes widened as I sliced right through her left wrist and severed the scythe blade before it could reach me, the stump whizzing past the front of my face, splattering a bit of blood onto my cheeks and nose.

I grabbed her tail just below the snake head as its jaws closed in on my left side, blood pouring out of its mouth as I unleashed Mana Pulse, her back arching slightly as she shuddered in pain.

As she gritted her teeth and began to swing her right arm at me, she let out a sharp wheeze as I slammed my left fist onto the middle of her stomach, before grabbing either side of her head and jerking it down while simultaneously driving my knee up.

A crunch rang out as my knee collided against the middle of her face, breaking her nose upon impact, before I fired out a swirling blast of Negative Energy from my right hand at point-blank, hitting the middle of her body and sending her hurtling back through the air.

She gritted her teeth and brought herself to an abrupt halt with a sharp spread of her wings, before firing out a barrage of Negative Energy arrows at me from her hands as she shot forward, her injuries swiftly healing.

Hm, her Negative Energy attacks are a bit lacking in intensity. Normally, like her other Acquired Skills, she can only use it for five seconds at a time, so she can’t practice with it anywhere near as freely as Aria and I can.

But this monstrous form of hers, this power boost...it seems while she’s in this state, that five second limit doesn’t apply, she can use all her abilities freely and without restraint, for however long this transformation lasts.

As she closed in on me, I lunged forward and swung my blade down towards her, before she swiftly raised her arms up, a layer of slime forming around her forearms.

My blade slid across the slime, inflicting a couple of shallow cuts across the middle of her forearms before sliding off, before her left hand morphed into a Minotaur’s arm.

She whipped the back of her fist across at my head, before a stifled hiss of pain rang out as I sprang back and raised my blade, slicing through the middle of her knuckles as she swung her fist right onto the edge of the blood, blood streaming out before she extended out two spider legs and thrust them towards my chest.

I caught the right one and sliced off the end of the left one, before she morphed her hands into scythes and whipped them out at my chest, inflicting a couple of shallow cuts across the middle of my chest as I sprang back.

I swiftly flew up as she unleashed a sonic screech towards me, before she spread out her wings and zipped up into the air, chasing after me.

I veered across the air as she fired out a barrage of intense, crackling lightning bolts at me, evading them before taking aim and whipping my left arm across, firing out a slashing wave of Negative Energy towards her, slicing across her right wing as she weaved across to the right.

As she lost her balance and swayed slightly, I flung my blade straight towards her head with a rapid spin, her eyes widening slightly before she quickly tilted her head across, the blade slicing along her right cheek and splitting her ear in half, before her eyes began glowing as the blade shot past her, turning her attention back towards me.

"<Return>," I chanted as she fired out petrifying beams at me from her eyes, before she stiffened as Desecrator came zipping back towards me from behind her.

Her beams veered away from me before petering out as she turned her head and spun around, a shallow cut appearing across the left side of her neck as she narrowly avoided a direct hit from Desecrator, trickles of blood running down the side of her neck and dripping onto her shoulder.

Hm, I suppose it’s about time that I start wrapping this up. I believe I have a sufficient idea of what she’s capable of now...
