Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon-Chapter 813 - 810: The Past 3 Years
Chapter 813: 810: The Past 3 Years
"If you ever fight him, it would feel like you’re fighting somebody who knows every single thing about you."
When Corey heard this, he could not help but have a baffled and suspicious expression.
"Like Omniscience?"
Corey asked, and Pamela shrugged.
"I’m not 100% sure. But I doubt it."
Pamela paused, and gave Corey an extremely subtle look which Corey did not notice because his mind was occupied with his speculations and thoughts on Jeremy Draker.
It took him two seconds to process Pamela’s words, and then he blinked and looked at her.
"Why do you say so?"
Pamela crossed her legs, and then she hummed. "Well, apart from the fact that he always seems to know what move you’ll make in a fight before you make it, his actions doesn’t portray him as an omniscient being."
Corey tilted his head slightly, "Explain."
"If he was truly omniscient, or if he had a fraction of the power of omniscience, he would have been able to prevent certain attacks and painful deaths that have occurred in his kingdom."
"Also, he would have been better prepared on the island of the Black Sea. Everything that happened back then was completely out of his expectations."
"A lot of people that followed him died."
Corey furrowed his brows, and although he had the urge to ask a question he should have asked a long time ago, he chose to ask another question about Jeremy Draker.
"You’ve fought him, right?"
Pamela nodded.
"How strong is he?"
Pamela remained silent for a few seconds, and then she spoke, "He’s not strong. He can’t be compared to either you or me. He’s not even as talented as Divine, but he’s more talented than Rosa... Just a little bit though."
Corey frowned.
"What happened in your fight?"
"I defeated him... But he almost won because he took me by surprise with his knowledge of how I fight and my abilities."
"It was... just annoying as hell."
Corey’s frown deepened slightly, and then some seconds later, he shook his head and leaned back into his chair.
"I guess I’ll just have to be careful around him and not underestimate him."
Pamela hummed softly, "You should, or you might lose to him."
Corey nodded slightly, and then he released a soft sigh.
"What of Divine, Kiefer, Rosa, Selene, and the rest? How are they?"
Pamela scoffed immediately, "So you’re finally asking about your friends? Took you long enough."
Corey smiled wryly, but didn’t try to defend himself. He knew he was wrong in that aspect.
Pamela scoffed once again, and then she uncrossed her legs.
"Well, the past 3 years have been eventful and uneventful to be honest."
Corey raised a brow, "What do you mean?"
"Well, after we left the island of the Black Sea, we stayed behind for three days because we were waiting for you and also because of Divine."
"He was badly injured, and luckily for me, I have some healing magic."
Pamela grinned, and Corey raised a brow at the pride in her tone.
He knew that the ability to heal was unique because it was extremely rare, but he also had a healing ability, and his was definitely the most unique healing ability he had ever read or heard about.
Although he could have tried to brag, he obviously chose not to do something so pointless.
Instead, he listened.
"Through Selene and of course, my abilities, we were able to know your location. I don’t know what happened, but when I saw that you were not coming towards us after escaping to another location, we decided to leave."
"Divine said he was going to go home since he had things to do at home, and Rosa decided to follow him despite saying she wanted to stay here and wait for you. She said something about being able to grow stronger at Divine’s home, compared to her staying in the Haven Continent."
"Hmm." Corey hummed softly in reply to Pamela’s words.
"As for Selene, Kiefer, Lydia, and Willow, who is known as the Terror Queen... They all decided to stay in the Haven Continent."
Corey’s expression changed to one of intrigue when he heard Pamela’s words.
"While we were waiting for you and getting stronger in the Haven Continent, we encountered Jeremy Draker."
"He told us that he wanted us to assist him in building his kingdom. I rejected obviously, and because of a lot of several annoying and pointless factors, we fought."
"Eventually, we came to an agreement where we were not under him in any way, and we would also be given special privileges after helping to build his kingdom."
Pamela scoffed as she recalled this certain memory, and Corey raised his brows.
"Of course he agreed when he saw how powerful I was, and well, we did a lot of fighting, killing, subduing, and so on and so forth."
"It might sound like we did a lot and fought a lot of powerful people, but I promise you, I did not even meet a single individual that was as powerful as you in the Haven Continent."
"Although, I met some who were talented and powerful, they did not give me that feeling of danger you’re currently giving me despite us not meeting for three years." ƒгeewёbnovel.com
Pamela paused, and looked at Corey with a calm expression, but Corey could see the corner of her lips curling up slightly along with a flash of battle intent in her eyes.
Corey smiled when he felt the battle intent from Pamela. He too was curious as to what the result would be in a battle between him and her.
’She’s still a Tier 4, but just like me who could not be compared to my previous self three years ago, it’s the same thing for her.’
’I wonder what I’ll see from her in the future.’
As Corey had these thoughts, Pamela continued speaking.
"Since it was taking you forever to come and meet us, Selene and Kiefer decided to become stronger since it was more beneficial for the two. I taught them by the way, and I must say, I’m proud of their current power."
Corey raised a brow at Pamela’s words, "What tiers are they in?"
"They’re both Tier 2s. They’re on the way to the peak of Tier 2. They just need to maximize their foundations before advancing to Tier 3."
Corey nodded, but he chose not to make a comment.
"As for Willow. I helped her to improve her foundations. Unfortunately for her, she had been advancing with a disgustingly poor foundation, and this affected her strength. Now she’s stronger though."
"At least she’s not at as weak as the average humans of New Earth."
Pamela mumbled those words softly, but Corey heard her as clear as day.
"What about Lydia?"
The moment he asked this question, Pamela went silent, and Corey frowned.
