Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 709: Mother and Son’s Reunion

With the return of Ru Lanyu’s memories, the four best friends had finally reunited. Well, two of them were in their children’s state with Ru Lanyu being the youngest. It was at this moment that Ru Yunlan and Han Haerin had returned from grocery shopping after being sent on an errand by their elders.

Han Haerin on the other hand wasn’t that nervous. She is a child who is willing to call a baby version of Lin Ruri as her mother.

She said, "Hello, Aunt Ru. I’m Haerin. Nice to see you again!"

"Erin’er has grown into a beautiful lady. The last time aunty had seen you, you were still a baby," said Ru Lanyu.

"Aunt Ru, you finally remember me!"

Han Haerin upon hearing this response startled her for a bit and immediately let go of the things in her hand and hugged her aunt. As for the things she is carrying, Ru Yunlan had caught it with his qi and walked towards the table and placed everything on it calmly. As if the shock he had seen before had never appeared in his face.

The others thought that maybe Ru Yunlan didn’t want to see his mother after all, when she was gone, he was only a child who can barely remember his mother. Everyone was silent as they watched the tense and awkward atmosphere between mother and son. Even Han Haerin almost couldn’t hold back but was pulled back by her father, Han Yoonjun.

He said to his daughter, "Give them some time, Haerin."

Even the parents of Ru Lanyu watch over the two nervously. They knew from their daughter how much she had suffered just to give birth to her son and how her son was taken away by that scumbag trying to distance her son from her. Even when the child cried out for her, she was hopeless as she could no longer walk to stop Chen Yun from taking away her son. Seeing her reaction, Ru Yunlan felt relief in his heart and hugged his mother. This is the first time he can remember his mother’s embrace. Maybe he was hugged multiple times when he was a baby, but he couldn’t remember any of that time. When he was young, he was so jealous to see his half-brother getting the love of his mother and their father. He had never received such a thing from his useless father.
