Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 691: Thrown Back

It was unknown to Han Haerin the real situation of her grandfather’s health. But such a thing cannot be hidden from the Moon Goddess who has a system and like Han Yoonjun had said, she was waiting for them to come to her instead of her asking them if they needed something. There is also the fact that Yue Xuexia had overdone it and that the system had to interfere.

Yuexia with her blurry eyes couldn’t see who was carrying her. But the familiar presence of her system made her realize who it was and called out before completely losing consciousness.

Someone covered her eyes and said, "Close your eyes. Sleep. When you wake up, everything will be back to normal."

Behind that hand, Yue Xuexia’s eyelashes fluttered as she felt sleepy only when she closed them slowly and fell in slumber that the man who carried him back had removed his hands.

No one else had heard it other than the hidden soul of the Sun God inside the necklace the Immortal Sun Emperor had given to the Moon Goddess before he left the planet. Within the necklace the sun god’s soul fragment looked at the man who carried Yue Xuexia however no matter how he looked he couldn’t see the man’s face at all as it was hidden. But for some reason, he seemed to know who it was. Just a feeling though.

The Sun God mumbles inside the necklace, "Why do I feel that this man is someone familiar."

Yue Xuexia’s sleep lasted for days. Ru Yunlan was shocked when he saw that his Godmother didn’t wake up the next day and if not for his Uncle Xiao coming back home, he would have thought that something had happened to the Goddess of the Moon. However, even though Xiao Muen knew what happened, he didn’t tell his nephew and let Haerin stories to him, allowing the two children to get along.

On the last day of the week of Yue Xuexia’s slumber, she finally woke up feeling refreshed. When she woke up from her sleep and came to see the people in her place, she was welcomed by a scene of Han Haerin and Ru Yunlan talking with smiles and pink aura all over them. This left her bewildered as if she was dreaming of something she didn’t expect at all.

She mumbles, "What is this a real life Korean romantic drama?"

Yue Xuexia turned around only to see Xiao Muen who had just got out of the bathroom after brushing his teeth and accidentally heard the murmuring of the Moon Goddess. This laughter was enough to be noticed by the two youngsters who didn’t immediately realize that their Godmother had woken up.

The two youngsters immediately jump off their seats and hug her. They were finally relieved to see their godmother awake. For them who were just young chicks in the cultivation world, their knowledge is still full of modern things. For them seeing one asleep for a week is not a normal thing. Even though their uncle had explained the situation many times they are still worried.

It was due to these similar emotions that Han Haerin and Ru Yunlan had gotten closer. Though they aren’t romantically attracted to one another, just being able to treat one similar to being close friends is enough for others to feel their strange closeness.

Yue Xuexia pinched the cheeks of the two brats hugging her and said, "Go make me some breakfast. After eating we can continue this talk."

Han Haerin and Ru Yunlan looked at each other then to their Godmother smiling at her at the same time.

"Okay, Godmother!"

Yue Xuexia went to the bathroom to freshen up. When she returned to the dining room, she saw the table full of dishes made by her two godchildren with Xiao Muen drinking his coffee while tinkering with a tablet in his hand. This would have been a familiar scene if there was Ru Lanyu and Lin Ruri with them, including Han Yoonjun and Xiao Muen’s wife. As for Chen Yun, Ru Lanyu’s ex-husband. It’s better if he never appeared in their life again.

Meanwhile at the Immortal World

The sudden appearance of a huge space rift was seen by almost every powerhouse in the Immortal World. They were all shocked as something like this was the first time to happen in their world. "How come this voice... seems so familiar?"

As soon as the space snap shut, everyone’s attention was moved from the location of the space rift to the floating island that was thrown over. It didn’t take long for one to notice what and who were the ones in this floating island.

"These people... Aren’t they the Stargazing Clan under the Immortal Star Emperor?"

"The voice just now seems to be female though?"

Thinking of that day, they had somehow believed that maybe that Moon Empress had truly created that space rift and threw this floated island back to the Immortal Realm.
