Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 659: Red Sword Intent

Before Chen Yunlan appeared in the hall to stab Madam Chen.

He first went to sneak into his brother’s place and killed his servants. His elder brother is currently taking a luxury bath. A small private pool in his room served wine and snacks by the side and a few females to entertain him. Chen Yunlan’s brother had recently become an adult.

His brother had always lived in luxury while he could only live in a shed-like room ever since he remembered. He couldn’t even eat properly as the servants of the kitchen would only leave him leftovers, the kind that can barely be eaten. If not for his uncle buying him some food outside he would have died a long time ago from starving. But look at his brother’s life, a room half big as the main hall, a private spring pool, dozens of servants at standby and a wardrobe of all kinds of seasonal dress.

What about him, a room not even as big as his brother’s bathroom. One old cabinet and only three pieces of clothing. He didn’t even get a servant from the family and only had Uncle Xiao by his side. His meals are made from leftovers and his life is even worse than that of a servant in this mansion. His brother also likes to bully him directly and indirectly. His stepmother treated him cruelly and his father turned blind eyes to his pain. He already had enough.

His resentment finally reached the peak and he didn’t know when he had killed all the servants and was now dragging his brother who had fainted from medicine he somehow slipped into his drink. He had tied him up with an immortal rope making sure that the latter is unable to use his qi when he woke up.

When his brother woke up he was shocked when he saw weakling little brother covered in blood and behind him was a pile of dead bodies made up of his servants and guards. He wanted to move and stay away from his brother when he noticed that he was all tied up with an immortal rope preventing him from using his qi.

Chen Yunlan was holding a knife covered in blood and his brother was wiping them on his robe. He said, "Brother, you are awake. That’s good~."

"You little bastard! What the hell do you want to do?! You better let go of me right now or I will make my mother punish you again!" the eldest young master of the Chen Family bellowed.

Chen Yunlan pretended to clean his ears and said, "Aunt and father are busy. My uncle is there to punish them as well. Brother, you should worry about yourself. I only have a few questions. Can you answer me?"

"You lunatic! Let go of me!" His brother said but he ignored his words.

He started asking things, "Brother, why do you always plot against me and have me punished by your mother? I haven’t done anything to you at all, right?"

"So what if you didn’t. You bitch mother stole father from mother. I am only punishing you for my mom!"

Chen Yunlan unhesitatingly, cut off his brother’s left hand. It was a swift cut that one wouldn’t expect from Chen Yunlan who is only at Peak Foundation Stage but already had some inkling what a sword intent is. It’s just his sword intent is reddish in shade which shows that it was impure and full of murderous intent plus hatred. The kind that can cause insanity to its wielder. However, Chen Yunlan isn’t showing any sign of madness. Instead, he looks so calm as if he is some kind of psychopath serial killer who cruelly killed his target after making them sure they suffer the most when still alive.

"Do not insult my mother. You only have a few limbs left. Do you want me to cut them all off~" Chen Yunlan said with a smile.

"Fuck you!! Damn lunatic! My Xu Clan will never let you go! So what if I insult your whore mother! If not for her you will not be born and father will only be my father! It’s already good enough that my mother plotted to kill that bitch. AHHH!"

Chen Yunlan cut off his brother’s right hand and right leg. His eyes were bloodshot as he couldn’t bear someone insulting his mother whom he loves the most in this world.

He glared at his brother and said, "There is no need for me to hold back. You don’t seem to have any intention of answering my questions at all anyway! Brother, I will make you pay for all the punishment I got from your mother. Every single one of them~"

Screams, pleas and crying were heard coming from the eldest young master’s quarter but no one was able to help him at all. After all, all the other servants and guards in the clan were all killed by Xiao Muen and the servants of this eldest master were all killed by Chen Yunlan. No one can hear him asking for help until he stopped screaming as if he had enough and can no longer scream.

After doing the deed, Chen Yunlan once again cleaned his knife and prepared to leave. He scattered oil all over the place and this room was the last one to be poured on by it. As for his elder brother, he no longer resembles that of a human. He lost all his limbs and even his ears, nose and his third leg was cut off by Chen Yunlan. Chen Yunlan didn’t want this person to live as a human even if he survived. Him leaving like this is worse than him being dead. However, he still gave the man a choice. Whether to try living or to wait for death.

Chen Yunlan said, "My dear brother~. If you crawl out within five minutes you might survive from the fire. Good luck."

After leaving the place, the whole quarter started burning and the flames spread so fast under one’s naked eyes. Chen Yunlan watches the fire blazingly glow under the evening sky. His face turns a bit relaxed as if he had said goodbye to his past where he is even lower than a dog.

He suddenly mumbles, "Uncle... Uncle Xiao cannot die. He cannot..."

Chen Yunlan’s eyes suddenly wander in the safety locket around his neck. He cut off the tip of his finger and wiped it on the golden colored safety lock. He waited for a while but didn’t have much hope for it to activate. After all, his uncle said that his godmother might not be in this realm. He was about to give up when suddenly he heard a gentle voice coming from his locket.

{Yunlan? I’m back. Wait for me. I’m coming over now.}

The voice was unfamiliar but that similar gentleness he only got from his mother warmed his heart. His mother always told him before, his Godmother was the one who had been waiting for his birth the most and she loves him as much as his Aunt Lin’s daughter, Sister Haerin.

He held the safety lock carefully in his hands and cleans off all the blood that dirtied it. Only his blood was absorbed by the locket disappearing within. He was so happy to learn that he didn’t only have his Uncle Xiao left, there was still his Godmother who would side with him and protect him like his mother does.

Surrounded by the enemies, Chen Yunlan was hugged by his Uncle Xiao while his father stood in front of him to block the first few attacks. He was affected by his father’s sacrifice at the end, however, at the last moment he suddenly saw the moon appearing as the whole roof was cut off. He saw a figure of a fairy in ancient black robes descending from the sky.

It was the moon goddess who had changed her modern clothing to an ancient robe one. The reason is because she can’t fly properly in that suit and changed to a robe which doesn’t hinder her flying speed. She could have teleported if she knew the location. But she had just returned to this realm and many things on this land had changed. He had no choice but to look using the pendant of her nephew as a locator and flew as fast as she could to find him.

Who would have thought that when she was about to arrive, Yue Xuexia would see her nephew and friend being besieged by a group of cultivators at Jindan Realm and that Xiao Muen’s state is not good.

Yue Xuexia can only throw her sword intent to protect the three people, kill the enemies who cannot avoid her attack and make sure they would not be able to touch her nephew and friend until she arrived.

She arrived and released her aura, pressuring those from the other side while making sure that the three within her barrier were unaffected. Almost all of the cultivators in the hall had fallen on the floor with their face sticking on the ground.

Yue Xuexia ignored them and appeared before Chen Yunlan. She reached out her hand and wiped the blood on his cheeks.

She said, "You were born safely. I’m glad."
