The difference between a nature goddess and a nature god is simple. The Goddess of Nature focuses on abundance. Her main ability is to heal and create forests. The God of Nature focuses on protecting nature. It’s more of an offensive kind of god and his main responsibility is to make sure that nature will not perish. That’s why even though they are both divinities that rulers nature, their main abilities are completely different.

Normally, gods of the same elements would excel in different things. Like the Immortal Sun God who focuses on the overwhelmed power of the sun which merges with dominance to kill with sun energy and his sword. Using the offensive ability of the sun and the sword as his weapon. While his disciple, Tan Shenyu’s nature of fire comes from the nirvana flames of the phoenix race, that’s why his sun’s abilities focus on purification and rebirth through fire. His flame is more effective in eliminating yin nature like ghosts and demons.
