Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 627: Yue Huashui’s Breakthrough

Gou Yura and the rest of them were watching the three lotus flowers from a distance. It was such a mystical sight to see three flower spirits with such a high cultivation. Moreover, three little things are not much weaker than the one they caught. There is also the fact that they can get stronger faster with a master like the Moon Goddess providing them resources.

The purple lotus flower suddenly looked above the sky which seemed to have started darkening and looked at the largest blue lotus flower in the garden. Her face turns pale in fear. Even though she loves lightning, tribulation lightning is scary for her. After all, she was used as a shield by her former masters and almost died under it multiple times.

"Retreat! The blue lotus is about to break through!!" The purple lotus said.

The moment they heard what the little girl said, they immediately ran away intending to call for the Moon Goddess and ran only to notice that none of the maids seemed to have any intention of running away at all. Even the other two lotus flowers woke up and returned to their human forms looking at their elder brother.

"Sis, Gugu... Lightning... Pak! Pak!" Yue Huajin said while clapping his chubby hands.

Yue Huaxue said, "Don’t worry. Gege is the only breakthrough to the Huashen Realm. Lightning won’t pass through the barrier, Mommy made it."

Only when they heard about what these two cities had said, the five of them stopped running away. They come closer to where the two had sat and watch the breakthrough of the other one from a distance while drinking tea and having snacks.

The prince’s aide looked worried and couldn’t help but ask.

"Are we truly going to watch here? Are you sure we are not going to be hit by lightning?" He asked while worriedly looking above their heads where the dark clouds were hovering over.

Gou Yura said, "Since the children said it’s safe then there is no problem."

"Moreover, the Moon Goddess is nearby. Even if something happens she will be able to help us out," said Lin Chiyu.

Gou Yuki said, "This is my first time seeing a plant undergoing tribulation. It is indeed an amazing sight."

The blue lotus flower floated above the mansion’s barrier. The tribulation is a trial that one cannot fully receive help from others. If someone helps from the beginning to the end, the tribulation will become even more dangerous and the one on the trial might not receive the trial reward that is meant for them.

This tribulation towards the stage of a demigod is not as hard as the ascension for the real god. You only need to break through, block and endure lightning strikes, as for the ascension to true god you will receive a trial that affects not only you but even the people you care for.

The blue lotus flower closes its petals when the lightning strikes simultaneously. He uses the cold spirit water to repair and heal the burned parts of the petals due to lightning. This took awhile and thankfully the defense of Yue Huashui is quite top notch.

The third prince, Russell vi Grandrouge frowned, "It’s almost over. But... The last lightning strike is the most powerful of all."

Just as the third prince mentioned, the last tribulation lightning strike is different from the rest of the strike. This time a human figure that looks like a giant appeared within the cloudy dark sky holding a lightning as thick as its arm and threw it down targeting Yue Huashui.

The purple lotus flower exclaimed at the scene, "Holy shit! How can there be a divine consciousness of the Lightning God appearing here to strike this blue lotus down!!? Is he connected to the Lightning God’s bloodline!? He is going to turn into ashes if he fails to block this last strike!!"

"Is there a way to help him?" Gou Yura asked.

The third prince pulled out a shield that looks like a high grade one. "I’ve brought this. But I don’t know if it would be able to block something that thick!" said Prince Russell.

The purple haired little girl shouted, "Untie me! Only I can block it!" She said while the others hurriedly removed the immortal rope around her.

After taking the shield from the third prince, she said, "Get inside the house. This lightning will definitely break through that barrier." The purple haired little girl in pigtail carried the shield and flew towards the sky.

Seeing the huge lightning trident fall towards the blue lotus flower, everyone thought that it would not be able to survive. They wanted to help it but didn’t know a way to do so. Only the little purple lotus lightning thought she could do something about it. If a human or another race was suffering from this kind of tribulation she would be able to ignore it. But not one of her kind, that’s why she is willing to risk her life as only she among them had the possibility of blocking this lightning strike.

She cursed, "Dammit! This will hurt like hell!" Even though she is complaining, she still dares to block the lightning for the blue lotus.

The purple lotus was only able to block the lightning for a few minutes and the shield finally broke. She closed her eyes intending to bear the pain of being struck by the lightning when suddenly someone grabbed her and a cold yet gentle voice lingers in her eyes.

The voice said, "Good work. But don’t be afraid of your own ability. You are the master of your own powers."

The purple lotus opened her eyes only to see a jade-like hand grabbing the huge lightning fearlessly. Her eyes wandered and finally saw who was holding her. It was a fairy with a crown made of lightning itself. Her eyes were dyed in a gorgeous hue of violets and blue. It was Yue Xuexia who had activated her lightning god’s physique and lightning god’s armor.

"Look closely. This is how you control lightning." The Moon Goddess said though she is more like a Lightning Goddess at this point.

After grabbing the lightning she had absorbed it in her body while compressing it inside without losing control. The lightning energy spread in her whole body making her affinity with lightning get even stronger and use this refined lightning and shape it into another part of her body armor. However this time, Yue Xuexia didn’t choose to absorb all the lightning she had grabbed and shaped it into a nest for the little one who helped protect her A’Shui.

Once the tribulation had ended. A golden pillar of light fell on Yue Huashui. Under this light his burned petals had healed and his whole being slowly got covered with divine energy. Though this divine energy isn’t as powerful as what a true god wields, at least it’s enough to allow Yue Huashui to grow.

After everything was absorbed by the Blue Lotus, he chose to return to his human form. This time his human form was no longer at the age of ten instead he looks like a teenager who is at least fifteen years old among the humans. As soon as he finished his evolution, Yue Huashui saw his master.

The Blue Lotus flower spirit said, "Mom, I grew up! I am almost an adult now!" Yue Huashui happily reported to his master.

Yue Xuexia pats his head and congratulates him. "Good work. You have done well this time. Also you must thank someone first, she is the one who had protected you until Mom arrived."

The Moon goddess pushed the purple haired pigtail girl towards her son. Unexpectedly, this little girl is much older than Yue Huaxue but younger than Yue Huashui.

"She is the one who had blocked that last lightning when it tried to fall on you first. She is a good child," said Yue Xuexia.

Yue Huashui knew that someone had protected him during his tribulation. However, he was so focused on defending that he didn’t see what the person who helped him looked like. Thankfully, his master recognized her for him. Seeing a little girl that looks like she is at least 9 or 8 years old, Yue Huashui is taller than her, kneeling on one knee and holding her hand like a gentle prince. He kissed his hand and spread his energy to help her heal. Water elements are compatible with healing like the plant element.

"My name is Yue Huashui. Thank you for protecting me before. Let me cure you first of your wounds."

The little girl with purple hair was blushing as if she had fallen in love with Yue Huashui. Unfortunately, the two were both young and Yue Xuexia had to supervise them until they reached adulthood.

"I...I... I’m alright now. Thank you!" The purple head girl said and finally fainted. No one knows if this little girl fainted from the backlash of being hit by lightning tribulation or something else.

Yue Huashui was carrying the little girl clumsy and looked at Yue Xuexia not knowing what to do next.

"Don’t worry. She is just tired. I’ve made a nest for her."

With a wave of her hand another nest made of lightning was placed in the garden with the restriction of the formation around the mansion, all kinds of elements don’t conflict in this area.
