Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 625: Purple Lotus

After Yue Xuexia had left, the third prince and his aide returned with a gloomy expression one would expect something bad had happened. Gou Yura hesitated to approach Russell only for the latter to come to him in a bad mood looking too fatigued. She couldn’t help but hug the man in comfort.

Gou Yura whispers, "It’s alright. Bad happenings passed. You should live your life as you wish."

"Then... Can you... live the rest of our lives with me, Yu’er?" Prince Russell asked as he held the hand of Gou Yura and looked at her eyes directly while asking this.

Gou Yura met the hoping eyes of the third prince and she truly felt that this man seriously like her made love her more than she does. She thought for a moment and recalled the day she first met him, when he saved them, kept giving her what she wanted and needed as well as the days he protected the three of them from the royal family. It can be said that this man had been helping them from the beginning. Though his thoughts about them were not completely righteous at the very least he never placed the three of them in a situation where they are forced to make a choice.

Gou Yura chose to finally accept him.

She finally responded, " Alright. I agree."

The third prince was stunned at first and looked at Gou Yura like he had lost a soul. Well it seems that his soul had slipped as expected. Gou Yuki, Lin Chiyu and the aide had been surrounding the couple. With the three of them trying to wake up Prince Russell.

One was waving his hand in front of the prince’s face but no reaction was given.

"Hey! Did he lose his soul?"

"Oi! Wake up you fool!"

"Master, wake up. Don’t make the princess wait."

Gou Yura chuckles at the reaction of the third prince and only then Russell wakes up to reality and finally believes that the person he loved had finally accepted him. This time there will not be any fake marriage but a real one to show the world that Gou Yura is his Russell vi Grandrouge’s future wife.

Russell carried his beloved by her waist and swirled on the spot in happiness.

It took awhile before the third prince calmed down. After a while, the two finally realized that the Moon Goddess is no longer around. The three informed the prince about what the Moon Goddess had told them about, especially the Ancient Ruins.

Prince Russell said, "The entrance of the Ancient Ruins will open in this empire? The Moon Goddess truly said that?"

"Hm. I had an inkling of who might have informed her, if it was truly that lord then this information must be real. After all, that lord is someone from the Immortal World. My master should be coming over soon... with the presence of the Moon Goddess we should be able to handle the other cultivators. But for this we need to ask for her permission if we are planning on using her name." Lin Chiyu said.

Gou Yuki said, "Then we should prepare a big gift and give her the most respected position during your wedding. With our parents not in this realm, we can only ask her for your marriage with me."

"That’s a good ideal. I will prepare the gift," said Prince Russell.

"With Yue-Dajie’s cultivation any kind of treasure might be common in her eyes. I heard she loves flowers. Spiritual flowers or herbs, she might like this better than weapons." Gou Yura said.

Prince Russell said, "I will listen to you, Yu’er."

"We should check the royal treasury. Since there is no one to inherit the empire then everything that was left behind is for the master," said the aide.

Lin Chiyu said, "Good idea. The fairy race should have a lot of plant and flower spiritual treasure. find a few good ones and give it to the Doctress."

The five of them left the mansion and headed to the main palace’s treasury. Most people from the palace were killed when the elder fairies wanted to increase their cultivation. All those who are connected to them by blood were drained by the two. It was also because of this fact that Yue Xuexia upon seeing the third prince unharmed that he is not a part of this royal family as no one from that bloodline was spared. Moreover, in the royal palace only of their bloodline can live this includes the guard and servants being part of their bloodline.

"This is the Royal Treasury. Let’s go inside," said Prince Russell.

Before them is a towering stone gate with formation protecting though it looks like an ordinary stone gate with nothing prominent about it. The third prince destroyed the formation around the door with a token which is still more useful than his bloodline. With the prince’s token the stone gates opened without a problem, but what welcomed them is a purple lotus spirit flower at Peak Yuanying Realm which is at least as powerful as the third prince.

"Humans, you are not allowed to enter this place! This bengong’s nest!"

Moreover, this little purple lotus cannot only control plants but also lightning. These little things had most likely been used by the two elder fairies to block their tribulation, making it mutate into a Thunder Lotus Flower. It even has a human form looking like a young girl in twin pigtails with an even more childish personality as Yue Huaxue.

Inside the room are scattered treasures of all kinds including gold and spirit stones. The little treasure guardian, this purple lotus came to block them.

Gou Yura felt that the little one is so cute and felt bad about bullying it.

"So cute. Can we not kill it? Let’s capture it. Yue-Dajie would like it a lot," said Gou Yura.

The Third Prince frowned, "But this little thing is only at Yuanying Realm...will the Goddess truly like it?"

"Bengong is not an ordinary flower! I am a flower that can control lightning!" Shouted the little purple lotus flower spirit and she controlled lightning from her power to attack them as she said.

Lin Chiyu said, "Dodge it! This is Tribulation Lightning!"

All five of them chose to dodge the attack then they looked at the effect of the things it hit. Everything the lightning hits becomes ashes instantly like how tribulation lightning turned cultivators who failed the trial into ashes to become nutrients for the world. It took quite a fight for the five of them to capture the little purple lotus and more than half of the cave turned into ruins because of their fight. Tied up with an Immortal Rope, the little purple lotus spirit struggles but fails to escape.

"Let go of me you up fucking brats!" Shouted the little purple lotus flower.

"Water. Give me water. So tired~" said Gou Yura.

The Third prince pulled water out of nowhere and gave it to his beloved.

Gou Yuki said, "Thankfully, not everything in this place is destroyed. Get everything listed here as you will need to use it to restore the empire. I do not want my sister to live in poverty."

"Yes, brother," said Prince Russell. "I promise to never let Yu’er suffer with me."

"I believe you," said Gou Yuki.

That afternoon, they investigate where the Moon Goddess is staying and the prince’s aide escorted them to a small but private mansion at the corner of the empire which is surrounded by the forest. Yue Xuexia has always liked quietness and this place is not secluded but also away from the noise.

However, the third prince and his aide were shocked by the changes in the area. They had been in this place but this used to be a barren lan which no one wants to live in. The former owner of the mansion had abandoned this land for the same reason.

But under the ownership of the Moon Goddess, this barren land suddenly became fertile and transformed into a fairyland which all cultivators would have loved to have.

"This place... Are you sure this is the right place? I remember this area being barren." The third prince said.

His aide responded, "I was also shocked when I first saw it. But master this is definitely the place where the goddess is staying."
