Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 616: Meeting the Immortal Star Emperor

The Moon Goddess was looking down at the ruined village within the death swamp with an expressionless face. Her eyes are cold as they moment these people had touched her people, she is completely merciless. Even though Xue Renxue is from the Snow Clan, just because of Tan Bingyu’s connection to them due to her mother and lover, she is willing to protect them.

After the destruction of the village under her feet, the moon had returned to the sky lingering behind her like a loyal puppy. There are multiple presences in the area coming over to this place which the Moon Goddess had noticed and kept an eye into. Yue Xuexia took a while to speak and was thinking how she would answer. Unexpectedly, she felt two powerful aura coming over. Also she noticed that the duration of her dharma form is about to end.

She knew that Shen Jueyang, who had gone ahead to the Immortal World, had come for her. But as of now, she had no intention of acknowledging him as her strength in her vessel was still weak compared to her soul form alone.

Shen Jueyang also didn’t meet her openly and hid somewhere nearby. As for the owner of the power of the Stars, this man appeared before her. His dark violet long hair flows like aurora as he flies and his magenta or amethyst irises stare at Yue Xuexia as if scrutinizing her.

The Moon Goddess calmly returned his gave equally cold and emotionless. There is no hint of friendliness imprinted within those silver irises which met the pair of amethyst colored eyes. At first, the Immortal Star Emperor, Xing Xieju, was bewildered. He also couldn’t believe that this cold lady in front of him is that beloved woman of his life, the Moon Empress.

However, the Moon wouldn’t lie. Like it wouldn’t rise from the west, it also wouldn’t just follow anyone’s command. The traces of Moon Domain lingers in the area and that round crater at the death swamp was like how the terrain would change if the moon had fallen to earth.

Xing Xieju calls, "Yue Xuehua?"

"My name is Yue Xuexia. I am not her," the Moon Goddess responded.

Everyone in the vicinity was surprised except for the hidden Immortal Sun Emperor and his subordinate, Taiyang. Xing Xieju seems to be startled but continues to stare at Yue Xuexia.

As if finding an answer of his own, he called upon the stars trying to read the future he couldn’t read before. Unexpectedly, the cut history of Yue Xuehua’s life suddenly extends but it was connected to the lady, who calls herself Yue Xuexia, in front of him. As for the future of the lady in front of him, it was ever-changing.

There is one thing for sure.

This lady will be what Yue Xuehua would become in the future. As if this lady was her present and Yue Xuehua was her past life. It seems the future is also unsure as he couldn’t see through it at all.

"You... You are her! I’m sure of it!" Xing Xieju exclaimed.

The Immortal Star Emperor’s eyes glows in delight as he looks at Yue Xuexia in front of him. He was about to reach out and hold her hand only to pause when he saw her looking at her coldly.

Xing Xieju acted like a gentleman unlike the madman version of himself which declared Yue Xuexia as Yue Xuehua.

"Pardon me. We haven’t met in this form yet. A pleasure to meet you, Yue Xuexia. I am the Immortal Star Emperor, Xing Xieju. You can call me Xieju or Gege as before."

Yue Xuexia hated being compared to Yue Xuehua the most. Even though they might have the same origin, they are completely different people who have lived different lives. She ignores and avoids Shen Jueyang, the Immortal Sun Emperor, whenever he talks about the past.

As she never considered herself as Yue Xuehua and the latter also didn’t consider herself as Yue Xuexia. Maybe if they merged, it would be understandable to treat them as one person, but they didn’t merge at all.

Like how Yue Xuehua didn’t know any memories of Yue Xuexia. Yue Xuexia also didn’t have the complete memories of Yue Xuehua.

The frown on Yue Xuexia’s face turns deeper and her eyes become icier.

She says, "Don’t mistake me for someone. Also, you dare to make a move on the Moon Clan and Lei Clan. Do you want me to get angry?"

Xing Xieju didn’t expect her to lose her temper like this. He looked surprised as if he was seeing a ghost. Remembering that she is not the past Moon Empress he knows, he calmed down and tried to coax her. After all, none of his divination had gone wrong.

With a doting smile on his handsome face, the Immortal Star Emperor said, "That was my mistake. I promise to no longer block the two clans. Would you like to join me for tea?"

Meanwhile, in the distance, the Fairy Queen is gnashing her teeth in anger. Watching the scene of the usually cold man who treated her not much different from air suddenly smiling happily in front of another woman made her heart full of jealousy. As Yue Xuexia and Xing Xieju were having a conversation, it cannot be called a conversation as it was only the Immortal Star Emperor speaking and the Moon Goddess listening. Out of nowhere Yue Xuexia heard the voice of the system in her head.
