Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 603: Snow Clan’s Destruction

Yue Xuexia had given the couple a few hours of preparation before she sent them out to leave for the north. At first, she wanted to separate from them and head to the Xinglou Empire as soon as possible. But she had no idea where it was located, much less knew anything about the place, so she decided to head north first. Actually, the real reason is that she can see the aura of death on Tan Bingyu and Xue Renxue which made her worried. That’s why she decides to accompany them back to the Snow Clan.

Their journey to the north was smooth as no one dared to block them when they saw the veiled lady wearing crimson robe. It was said that the Moon Goddess likes to wear a veil and a crimson dress whenever she goes out for a journey. Moreover, the fact that the princess of the Hidden Tan Clan and the youngest Elder of the Snow Clan accompany her, it’s easy to recognize who she is.

However when they returned to the Snow Clan, an unexpected scene welcomed them. More than half of the ice mountain range had disappeared and the gates of the Snow Clan had been destroyed. Many guards and servants of the Snow Clan were injured, and a row of dead were aligned on the ground beside them were cries full of grievances.

Tan Bingyu and Xue Renxue were shocked by these scenes.

"What happened here?!"

Baimei also didn’t expect her masters’ clan to end up like this. Based on the result, it seems they were attacked by someone powerful but intentionally didn’t exterminate the clan.

Yue Xuexia remained composed at the scene but still spread her divine consciousness within the area to check the numbers of the injured people. She was surprised to see that Tan Bingyu’s father, Tan Shenyu, and her Grandfather, Xue Yi were badly injured. Xue Renxue’s parents are both missing. While Xue Shuyi, Tan Bingyu’s mother, is also injured but not as worse as her husband and father.

The Moon Goddess took a step forwards and used another domain. This time it’s from the Deva God’s legacy.

Yue Xuexia activated the Holy God’s Domain, Deva’s Sanctuary. Something she had inherited from the Deva God. The First Miracle can cast healing circles that can enclose a certain area of her choice. Everyone within this domain will be healed simultaneously. However, to those who are dying and lose limbs this first domain isn’t powerful enough.

Everyone was shocked by the sudden holy energy that fell into the area. But when they saw their wounds healing, they immediately noticed that someone must have helped them. They heard a voice that had spoken just now and looked for the source.

Their dull eyes showed a glow when they saw the Moon Goddess together with Princess Bingyu and Elder Renxue.

"The Moon Goddess, Princess Bingyu and Elder Renxue! They are finally back!"

"Someone inform Lady Shuyi!"

"Elder Renxue, the Supreme Elder and her husband are... I’m sorry! We did our best."

The regretful expression on the members of the Snow Clan gave Xue Renxue a bad feeling, making his face turn white. Even Tan Bingyu has a frown on her cold face.

Xue Renxue grabbed the clan member who spoke last and shouted, "Tell me what the hell happened!? Where is mother and father!? Answer me!!!"

Tan Bingyu held her lover’s hand and comforted him.

"Where are they!?" Tan Bingyu exclaimed.

This time the shock Tan Bingyu was replaced with urgency. She saw where the Mistress was pointing and ran to the said direction. Xue Renxue also didn’t expect this and chased after his lover. When they reached the building where most people had gathered. They were welcomed with a hall of injured people.

Though most of them were saved by the area healing, those who were badly injured would not wake up. Tan Bingyu looked around the hall and saw most of the injured had sat up after feeling their wounds healing. Within this crowd they saw two people still laying on the ground unconscious. Xue Shuyi, Tan Bingyu’s mother seated in between looking after the two patients.

Tan Bingyu recognizes the two people on the ground as her father, Tan Shenyu and her foster maternal grandfather, Xue Yi.

"Mom! Dad! Grandpa!" She called after running towards them.

Xue Shuyi with a bloodied bandage around her head, and arms just finished wiping her husband and father.

"Bing’er, Ren’er, you two are back."

When Xue Shuyi saw the Moon Goddess behind them the tears in her eyes which she was trying to hold back finally fell. She suddenly starts kowtowing towards Yue Xuexia.

"Mistress! Please. I beg you. Please save my husband and father! The doctors and healer had no means to wake them up. We did everything but... they just won’t wake up," said Xue Shuyi as she pleaded in despair.

Xue Shuyi was about to knock her head on the ground but suddenly couldn’t move and this shocked her so much.

Yue Xuexia said, "As my people, if you ever need help just ask. You shouldn’t easily kneel before people even before me. Just ask and I will do my best to save them. My people, I will be responsible for you until the end."

Tan Bingyu and Xue Renxue support Mrs. Tan up and let Yue Xuexia walk past them to check on the two men on the ground. She reached out both her hands to check both pulses and realized that everything was normal, making her eyes narrowed.

She used sacred healing to fully cure all the injuries on the body of these two men. Even so, after the healing they didn’t wake up which left the family of these two bewildered.

The Moon Goddess turned around and looked at Mrs. Tan.

"The souls of these two men are gone. Who have you fought against?" Yue Xuexia asked.

The moment Xue Shuyi heard the words of the Moon Goddess, she realized that the bad feeling in her heart had become reality. She and the rest of the people of the Snow Clan had witnessed how the souls of his husband and father had been taken. She just couldn’t believe that there are beings who could do such a thing.

That’s why she immediately sent letters to her daughter and in-laws, this is to inform them about what happened here. The letter sent to her daughter must have not been received by them seeing that they had arrived the fastest and didn’t seem to know anything about her letter or the situation of this clan. She should be thankful that the Moon Goddess came back with her children or else the Snow Clan would have suffered so many deaths.

As for the letter sent to the Starfield Sect, it was sent with the intention of her father-in-law and mother-in-law reading it. If there might be someone who can help them with what is happening, only Tang Yuyi would be able to provide information about the Immortal World or the Hall of Souls that attacked them.

Xue Shuyi honestly answered but before she speaks, her eyes turn to Xue Renxue and look back at the Moon Goddess.

She said, "Only one person. An old man wearing a creepy ghost mask and black and red ancient robe. He said that the Supreme Elder’s Husband had stolen something from their clan. He said that he came from the Hall of Souls. But..."

"But he didn’t find what he was looking for and took the couple away," said Yue Xuexia.

Xue Shuyi said, "Yes."

"Then Mom, how about Dad and Grandpa Xue?" Tan Bingyu asked.

The answer to this question Xue Shuyi didn’t know. The Supreme Elder and the Grand Elder were taken away but she didn’t even know that her husband and father’s soul was also taken away from their bodies. The one who gave them the answer is the Moon Goddess.

Yue Xuexia said, "Uncle Tan is the heir of the Immortal Sun Emperor. Those people thought that Jueyang was dead and they freely took away his disciple. As for the Snow Clan Clan Master, I don’t know why."

All of the sudden, the egg of the Snow Clan’s ancestor, Feng Bingrui comes out of Tan Bingyu’s inner world and hovers near Yue Xuexia as if talking to her. No one can hear the conversation between the two as the Ice Phoenix Ancestor only wishes to talk to the Moon Goddess.

After the conversation between them was cut, the Moon Goddess suddenly asked, "Where is the family of the Snow Clan’s Sect Master?"

The wife of Xue Yi stepped in with a haggard and sickly face supported by their son.

She said, "Goddess, it’s this humble one."

"Your ancestor said he can call back your husband’s soul but... he will enter rebirth and hatch from an egg. Are you willing?" The Moon Goddess asked.

The wife and son of Xue Yi were delighted by this news and kowtow towards the Moon Goddess and their Clan’s ancestor which seems to be currently just a floating egg right now.
