Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 601: Departure

Yue Xuexia didn’t expect that Shen Jueyang already knew the location where the entrance of the Ancient ruins would appear. He mentioned something like empire, the Moon Goddess only heard about the Qin Kingdom and didn’t know that an empire existed in the cultivation realm.

The Moon Goddess asked, "Do you know which empire it is?"

"Xinglou Empire. It’s the empire far south in this realm. It’s just a place for the weak to gather, but they have connection with the Fairy Queen Titania," Shen Jueyang said while observing the Moon Goddess’s face.

Yue Xuexia frowned for a moment which is quite rare for her case.

"Fairy Queen... Titania? Hm~ where did I hear this name before...?"

Her gaze suddenly landed on Shen Jueyang and said, "That’s right! Fairy Queen Titania! Isn’t she your Imperial Concubine?"

The Moon Goddess looked at her with pure eyes, no hints of other emotions but confusion. After all, to Yue Xuexia Shen Jueyang’s past live karma had nothing to do with her. However, seeing her react like this made his heart grow cold.

The silence and awkwardness in the area was broken by the former Moon Empress and said, "Do not worry about that bitchy fairy queen. The Immortal Sun Emperor, Shen Jueyang stared at Yue Xuehua’s eyes straight as if looking at someone in her eyes and smiled.

"I will be taking my leave now. See you in the Immortal World, Xue’er!" He said.

Shen Jueyang took his leave and flew out of the world. His leaving figure was like a streak of meteor that was ascending instead of descending.

Yue Xuehua and Yue Xuexia sharing one body watch the figure leave. Starting today the man who earnestly protects her will no longer be around. She will truly be independent after tonight.

Yue Xuehua asked, "Is it alright to not say goodbye to him?"

"Yes. It’s better if he leaves as soon as possible. Or it would be hard for me to choose, if I am forced to choose between my family or him. A question: whom should I choose to save." Yue Xuexia said.

Yue Xuehua asked, "Don’t tell me you have feelings for him?"

"Feelings? What is that? Do I even have that?" Yue Xuexia retorted.

Beyond the Exiled Star, in the open space full of galaxies, stars and planets.

The Immortal Sun Emperor finally returned to where Taiyang was waiting. Seeing a few more dead bodies of gods, goddesses and divinities under his feet, Shen Jueyang was now too sure that this small resource star had been exposed.

Taiyang welcomed his main soul back. "Finally, you choose to return! Those who knew these coordinates are starting to increase a lot. I have blocked all those who tried to enter through outer space but... those who had means to directly enter the world, I don’t know how to stop them. You can’t blame me for that. Stopping them without harming this planet is seemingly impossible!"

"By the way, how is Xue’er?! Is she okay? She isn’t getting bullied isn’t she?"

"No one can bully her with how her personality is. Bullying someone is possible though," said Shen Jueyang.

Taiyang chuckled and said, "Indeed, that is so like her."

"So, what’s the next plan?" Taiyang asked.

Shen Jueyang responded, "After we made the World Array, we are heading back to the Immortal World."

"What?! What about Xue’er? Am I going with you?" Taiyang asked endlessly.

The Immortal Sun Emperor glares at him and this made Taiyang shut his mouth up.

"Do you think Xue’er will allow you to stay? She knew that you were my right hand person!"

"Can’t I just resign? I want to stay and protect Xue’er," Taiyang said. "Also eat her cooking of course!"

"Even if you resign you can’t leave. I have chosen another one to protect her secretly in our instead. Don’t worry about her," The Immortal Sun Emperor said.

Though one could see how much hesitation Shen Jueyang possessed just by looking at his eyes. He was even avoiding looking at the star behind him. It’s as if that just by looking back once will make him change his mind and no longer pursue his revenge. He had actually had such thoughts before, especially when he fell in love with the current moon goddess. He also created a heart demon that time and if not for Yue Xuexia’s words pushing him to complete his revenge, he might have long suffered from Qi deviation.

Taiyang, on the other hand, didn’t expect that Shen Jueyang would be able to leave Yue Xuexia’s protection to someone other than himself. Even letting him protect Xue’er made him still reluctant.

"Who did you find as her protector? If he is weak, it’s better to leave it to me instead!" Taiyang responded.

Shen Jueyang sighed but the movements of his hand which is creating formation around the Exiled Star didn’t stop even once. He casually ignores Taiyang’s indirect tantrums.

"I told you not to worry. Her protector is my soul fragment. The remnant wisp of soul when he almost died in the Immortal World before. This means this soul fragment possessed a bit of my original cultivation." The Immoral Sun Emperor said.

Taiyang still couldn’t accept that his new dream job was stolen from him by another soul fragment who gained an ego like himself. He keeps complaining while helping the Immortal Sun Emperor create the World Array.

"Isn’t it better if you sent me instead?" Taiyang said. "I can also protect Xue’er in secret!"

"SHut up! Finish the world array so we can leave as soon as possible. If those outsiders learned about this planet more cultivators would invade causing the aborigines to suffer and this includes Xue’er. Keep your hands moving!" The Immortal Sun Emperor said.

The two created the World Array and made sure to cover up the location and this star itself from the other’s eyes. Once the world array was activated a barrier created an illusion that made this star blend with the star making it look like it had disappeared. Only when they saw that the array was working did the two men look at the star for one last time. Reluctance is all over themselves.

The Immortal Sun Emperor said, "It’s time to leave." The controller of the array was left behind, but Shen Jueyang knew that the Will of this world would definitely take it away.

When Shen Jueyang and Taiyang took their leave, a figure of a young woman in ancient robes appeared. This lady possessed someone’s familiar face. It was Su Rukia, their niece of the same age as Yue Ruxia.

Su Rukia appeared in space and took the controller of the array and looked at the direction where the Immortal Sun Emperor and Taiyang had left for.

She mumbles, "Now no one can stop my aunt’s trial." Then she once again disappeared together with the controller of the world array that protects the Exiled Star.
