A small sun that is only thrice his size, but the powerful within this sun was enough to burn not only his body but also his soul. Tan Shenyu who had his eyes closed all this time finally opens his eyes and in his clasped hand, he slowly opens them revealing a small red-orange sun with golden glow. This is a sun with both purification and sun energy.

The sun in his hand grew twice as big as his head and swallowed the two lightning tribulations. It ascended to the sky as a replacement sun. Though it wasn’t as big and as bright as the original sun it still gave light and illuminated the hall of sun. Once the day had returned, a golden pillar fell on Tan Shenyu’s body, healing and repairing his body. His black hair now had red-orange shade like highlights and his irises had also changed a lot with now a bit of shade of orange and gold.

Surviving his tribulation to become a demigod and the keeper of the sun, Tan Shenyu’s cultivation had increased a lot. He is not at Mid Huashen Realm. Seeing that he had survived the Sun God and Shen Jueyang had approached their disciple. Yue Xuexia had taken back her domain and returned everyone to the Hall of Sun after seeing that the tribulation was finished. Among those in the crowd the one that is the happiest seeing that Tan Shenyu had survived is none other than his daughter, Tan Bingyu and his father, Tan Shenyu. There is also his son-in-law, Xue Renxue in tow.

Tan Shenyu upon seeing the master approached, fell on his knees and said, "Thank you for your support all this time, Master!"

The Sun God pats the shoulder of his disciples and said, "Well done. You can now be considered a Demigod who controls the sun."

"You did great. Go and meet your family," said Shen Jueyang.

Tan Shenyu after saluting towards his master left to check on his daughter and son-in-law, he had witnessed their skin getting burned before his eyes which greatly terrifies him. Upon seeing them scarless, Tan Shenyu thanked their Mistress as he knew that the Moon Goddess had most likely healed their wounds. It only took an instant for one to get themselves burned by the sun.

After this breakthrough, everyone who had survived in this hall decided to take a rest and wait for tomorrow to come. The next day is their last day to stay in the Hall of the Sun. That night everyone had decided to have a feast and drank to their hearts content. The Sun God had stared at the Moon Goddess all night. Shen Jueyang noticed this and asked him in the middle of the night while the others had gone to sleep. Today was truly a tiring day. Not only did they experience three volcanoes erupting at the same time, they had also witnessed the sun descend, almost burning them to ashes.

That night the Sun God allowed the night to envelop the whole hall as he sat at the highest peak of the now quiet volcanoes overlooking the hall which he considered his life the moment he woke up in this form. This is also the first time he had watched the moon appear in his territory. However, he didn’t feel bad seeing the moon above his head. He was enjoying the night breeze when the main soul appeared.

Shen Jueyang stayed by his side and asked, "Have you decided?"

"...Do you wish for me to protect her secret or in the open?" The Sun God asked.

Shen Jueyang asked, "If possible, I would only like you to protect her when her life is in danger and only in the Immortal World."

The Immortal Sun Emperor said, "I had spoken to the Heavenly Laws on this star once. He told me that I must not interfere with Xue’er’s life trial on this planet. It would greatly affect her future if we get involved. What is meant to happen on this planet is not meant to be changed."

"Alright. I will keep that in mind. You can give this hall to that brat. You can hide me in the imprint blessing you will give her before you leave this planet. I will protect her with my life," said the Sun God as his figure faded and merged with the body of Shen Jueyang.

The Immoral Sun Emperor placed a hand above his heart and whispered, "You have my gratitude. I will leave her in your care."

When the seventh day arrived, the one who had opened the portal to the next destination happened to be Shen Jueyang. Though the others were confused about this, no one aside from the Moon Goddess and Tan Shenyu asked the location of the Sun God.

Tan Shenyu asked, "Master, where’s the other Master?"

"He is busy with something. He told me to give this hall to you as your personal training ground."

Shen Jueyang pointed his pointer and middle finger to Tan Shenyu’s forehead and a sun imprint appeared on it. Tan Shenyu felt the existence of the Hall of Sun and he can now see through the whole all and everything in it. He realized that he can control the whole space and was happy about it.

"Thank you to the Master for the gift!" Tan Shenyu said.

The Immortal Sun Emperor said, "You better train well. Unless you want to be dragged by him into isolation training and get tortured."

"Is he not coming? Or did he merge with you?" Yue Xuexia asked.

Startled. Shen Jueyang asked, "Xue’er, you that the Sun God is my soul fragment."

The Moon Goddess nodded her head and said, "He feels a bit like Yangyang and have the same color of soul as you are."

"Mistress, you can see through one’s soul?" Tan Shenyu asked.

Yue Xuexia said, "Yes, this is one of my abilities as the Divine Doctor."

"He is not coming. He didn’t want to leave this dungeon and plans to create another hall," said Shen Jueyang. "We should head to the next hall."

Seeing that Shen Jueyang didn’t want to talk about the Sun God, Yue Xuexia didn’t ask anymore. She just followed him to the portal that was activated which is connected to the hall. However, the following hall no longer had any connection to them. After spending a few years in the secret dungeon they had finally reached the Main Hall, where the tombstones of the fallen gods are placed together with statues. In this hall, all the chosen successors will make their position the real one. If their masters are willing, they can leave with their successor after giving them their legacy.

After everyone had passed through the final teleportation circle, each one of them had woken up in different places. Those who weren’t chosen as a successor were sent out of the dungeon ahead of time. Tan Bingyu, Tan Huangyu and Xue Renxue were directly teleported outside. Tan Shenyu was teleported to the tombstone of the Sun God with Shen Jueyang. However, this tombstone had turned to ashes as the main soul had been destroyed.

The Immortal Sun Emperor said, "This lord is not dead. This tombstone shall not stay."

With a wave of his hand, the altar for the Sun God crumbled to dust including the statue of himself as the Emperor of the Immortal Sun Empire. Since the empire no longer exists, this statue shall not as well.

Tan Shenyu whispered to his master, "Shizun, is it alright not to officiate like the rest of the seniors?"

"You want my legacy? I have longed to give it to you. If not for your lazy ass you would have become the successor of this seat a long time ago and not linger in Yuanying Realm!" Shen Jueyang said.

Tan Shenyu lightly scratched his face and asked, "T-Then Shizun can I come out ahead of time and be with my family? Maybe the Mistress is already outside waiting for us."

"What are you talking about, kid? The Moon Goddess is summoned by Senior Asura and Senior Light," this is the voice of the Wind God who just appeared out of nowhere to their side.

The Wind God hurriedly said, "Don’t get angry, Immortal Sun Emperor. I’ve got nothing to do with this." He raised his two hands and waved them urgently as he could feel the temper of this Sun God was taking a bad turn.

The Immortal Sun Emperor asked, "Where are they!?"
