The next morning, the three gathered in the dining room where they enjoyed a hearty breakfast before leaving for the factory.

Diamond had come to Avia City because of the factory.

After getting it, she had people assigned to the factory but haven’t checked it again in person

She had come for business and once done, she would go on dates with Waylon. That’s why she came with him.

She wanted to spend time with him and have a lot of fun, in the process.

When they arrived at the factory, someone was there to welcome them.

It was the person assigned by Nancy. As for those who used to manage the factory, they still worked there. Just that, above them was someone whom she could trust, and have no issues with.

Talking about assigning people, Nancy also found someone and sent her to the Farm Villa. In a month or so, the villa should be open to the public again.

Returning to the matter at hand, Diamond walked with the manager as she listened to the onsite report.

The factory was very important, though others would think that nothing much hasn’t been done.

She never planned to change the production lines or produce the factory had been making all this time.

It was a snack factory, producing sweets and snacks alike.

So, after the new manager was assigned, the first thing that was done was to revisit the previous snacks to check if they should be discarded or improved.

After all, for the factory to go bankrupt, something was wrong, and that needed addressing.

The previous management had been producing snacks which were then sold to others who would brand them as theirs. However, when these companies started having their own factories and switching to other factories, that started causing troubles for the factory. Thus, leading to its demise.

After looking through all those problems, Diamond, previously thought of not working for others but letting the factory produce her own snacks. she planned to sell them herself without wasting so much time to feed others.

With that in mind, when the new manager took over, the several snacks’ recipes at hand were checked repeatedly. Some were discarded as they weren’t on par, while others were improvised to produce a much better taste.

It was quite a pity that Diamond haven’t received any snacks recipes except for the Gesalsi ones. She planned to open a Gesalsi restaurant to make those snacks. So, the factory would have to rely on other kinds of snacks, and not these.

With her arrival this time, she planned to taste the new snacks the factory had been busy making. If she likes them, they would be mass produced.

With two more people with her, tasting the new snacks would definitely go well.

"We have made ten types of improved snacks," the manager respectfully spoke as he led the trio to the long table where the unbranded snacks were placed.

Diamond’s eyes were all twinkling at the thought of this business flourishing in the future. Despite not tasting a single thing, she has so much faith in Nancy. There was no way she would risk her career by picking a dunderhead, right?

When they got to the table, the ten snacks looked inviting.

There were biscuits, sweets and chips.

She started with the chips. For the chips, there were five types, with three being potato chips.

These crispy snacks made from thinly sliced potatoes came in three flavors; Fruit Chutney, Cheese and BBQ.

In order to facilitate and produce the best and quality snacks, most of the ingredients used were procured from her through Brenda.

Instead of purchasing potatoes from others, she simply used her kind. The delicious kind. So, when she tasted several of these chips, her eyes lit up. Even the two men couldn’t help but keep on eating more, making the manager and the staff watching sigh with relief.

"These are good. However, tone down on the cheese," Diamond complimented before adding a suggestion.

If the cheese is overpowering, it might be difficult to enjoy the snack.

After tasting the potato snacks, she went on to taste the corn snacks which currently only have two flavors; cheese and red tomato.

There were no issues with these two, so they moved on the next snacks.

For the biscuits, there were just two types. Chocolate chip cookies, which tasted sweet and left this lingering taste on her tongue. She loved them a lot. Perhaps, it was because there was chocolate inside. Nonetheless, the biscuits were a goner.

After giving full marks on the Choco biscuits, she tasted the ginger flavored ones. They were in contrast to the Choco ones. They were spicy and yet delicious. They kept one wanting to eat more.

for sweets, there were lollipops, chewing gums and candies. All of them were mixed assorted, providing a variety of flavors.

After tasting everything, Diamond provided the manager with her own thoughts. For what should be changed or be kept, she shared her opinions and even asked the two men as well.

After all, their palate might be different. Having more opinions might be helpful.

Once that was done, Diamond had a short meeting with the manager without the men by her side.

The factory used to be called Everlasting Factory, but after she took over, she changed it Gem Bites. She planned to use that name as the brand for all the future snacks under her.

It was a hustle to come up with names all the time.

With most of the snacks being satisfactory, they could be mass produced without fail. Once done, the rest was just a matter of making several calls.

She didn’t believe that her snacks wouldn’t sell.

She didn’t have to worry about future sells at all.

After the meeting ended, she left the factory with a bunch of goods. She didn’t plan to return to the factory again.

There was a lot that she planned to do before heading back home.
