SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 965 - 963: YOU ARE CRAZY
"You .... You are crazy!" that was the only thing that Cassy could say after hearing her cousin’s words.
If he was sane, he wouldn’t utter such nonsense. Unfortunately, he was too bewitched and she was at a loss of words.
Waylon didn’t seem to mind his cousin at all and answered her, "Um. I am a crazy and this feeling is getting stronger with each passing day. Cousin, you know, you are one of the relatives I can talk to about relationships. We share certain secrets, so I can be at ease with you."
Cassy nodded her head, knowing what he was saying but couldn’t help but sigh. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
"But .... What exactly did she do to make you so crazy like this? I am not trying to say that she is not worth of you, or something like that. I just don’t want to see you sad, hurt or in pain," she emotionally said, hoping that her cousin wouldn’t think otherwise.
She still remembered when Waylon was dating Jackie. He was serious but wasn’t this crazy. The way he spoke about Diamond, it was as if he was obsessed and she was his poppy. He had an addiction, and if he can’t have her, then things would go haywire.
Waylon chuckled as he thought to himself how it started and yet after combing through his memories, it felt vague.
"I don’t know. I guess, it’s what they call love at first sight, or something like that. All I remember was that, my heart beat and raced in a way it had never done before. I was still with Jackie at that time. Back then, I thought to myself that perhaps she was too beautiful and good at doing things unconventional. Maybe that’s what drew me towards her."
Cassy didn’t interrupt him as he said that. she could picture the first moment she saw Diamond. She would never forget it.
’Is this person really from our city?’ it felt unreal and yet that was the truth.
"I recall the first time I saw her in person. We were at a race. She appeared, driving that Aclerean and caused quite a stir. She looked so damn good; my heart never stopped beating. I knew that moment that I was doomed. She even sat several seats away from me and I saw her smiling.
I was so happy. I wanted so bad to get close to her, chase her and make her mine. It was the first time; I ever felt such deep feelings towards a female. However, she was with Wyatt and the other guys from the ZOOM club," he let out a deprecated laugh, thinking about how devasted he was back then.
With the way she was so close to Wyatt, he thought that the two had a thing. After all, they used to show up together during her livestreams in Gesalsi.
"Anyway, after that, I met her again on her birthday," the painful memories of that day surfaced.
Seeing her dancing happily with Wyatt, how he wished so many times that it was him.
Listening to him, Cassy could only curse how crazy her cousin was. However, the other part of her was dancing happily. It was rare to find someone you love so much and get to be with him or her. Just like how she fell for her boyfriend, even when he doesn’t have anything yet. He was still someone that she loved dearly and was willing to spend the rest of her life with.
Of course, her mother was an obstacle, she would have to face one day. However, for now, she was going to let nature take its course.
"And then, on the day I broke up with Jackie, like a knight in shining armor, she came to me and healed my wounds. The feelings I tried hard to suppress all this time, finally unleashed. When fate was trying its best to send me to her, why should I defy it?"
Listening to all that, even if she wanted to object any further, she would only attract his ire.
"Since you love her that much, then I wish you all the best. I want to see you happy, cousin and if she makes you happy, then I support you all the way. Just don’t get hurt. She still has a boyfriend, after all. You wouldn’t want anything to happen."
She didn’t know what was happening and why her cousin or Auntie would let their son date Diamond, when she was taken. However, she just wished that Waylon would not be hurt. He was an adult, and should have his reasons and knows what he is doing.
"Don’t worry. Just cheer for your cousin. I will never do anything foolish," he said smilingly, reassuring the worried cousin.
Seeing him smiling like that, what more could she say?
She could only be happy that she had answers to give her Auntie when she returns. Her Auntie should be happy with what she got this time right?
The cousins chatted happily and in order to help Waylon get Diamond as soon as possible, and possibly let her kick out the boyfriend that they haven’t seen before, she went all out with tips.
They finally reached the pickup point and waited there for Diamond to arrive.
Five minutes later after their arrival, Waylon’s phone rang and he picked up immediately.
"Baby!" he affectionately called and Cassy felt goosebumps on her skin.
Damn! What kind of operation was this?
"I am already there. Okay, see you soon," he happily said before hanging up.
Cassy was looking at him inquiringly, and he rolled his eyes at her before saying, "she is almost here. I need to get out."
Cassy eyes beamed when she heard that but then Waylon’s next words were like a basin of cold water poured over her head.
"As for you, my dear cousin, you better stay faithfully in your seat. When it’s time, I will introduce her to you formally," he sternly said.
They weren’t exactly dating. There was still that three-month agreement. He didn’t want to pressure Diamond by letting her meet his relatives. If things fail to work between them in the future, it would make things awkward.
Cassy could only sulk while glaring at Waylon, who mercilessly alighted from the car threatening, "if you dare, I will send that childhood photo of yours to your boyfriend."
And that made Cassy sit obediently in her seat while cursing Waylon inwardly for being a bully.
Waylon chuckled heartlessly seeing how he had put his cousin in her place.
