Diamond chuckled lightly as she looked at him, the corner of her lips curled upwards.

"You really have a sweet tongue, don’t you?"

"Hehe, only for you. Other people, I don’t even bother!" he satisfied her vanity and she was even more pleased with him.

"Good, because if you so happen to develop that kind of sweet tongue to anyone else, I will cut you down!" she lightly threatened, a smile on her face. However, Waylon couldn’t help but shiver when he heard that.

He had an inkling that she wasn’t joking at all. And that, somehow, made his heart race despite the faint fear of being cut down.

"I know and let it remain that way," she said seriously before changing her tone, "how is the restaurant?" changing the topic altogether.

With a new topic brought up, the couple began to talk about the restaurant. With Waylon doing more of the talking and Diamond listening with a smile on her face.

When the topic ended, the meal had also ended. Waylon dealt with the dishes before joining Diamond in the living room, where they both snuggled on the cushion, watching a movie that Waylon had bene eager to watch with her for a while now.

It was a rom-com, it made both of them laugh and enjoyed it very much. it was a good one and definitely not a flop.

"Baby, do you think that we will quarrel like that couple at times in the future?" Waylon asked as he ran his fingers through the lines in Diamond’s head.

Diamond chuckled as she held onto Waylon’s other hand.

"I am not sure, but everyone always argues. As long as the opinions doesn’t align. Anything is possible," she responded.

She couldn’t promise that such a thing won’t happen. After all, it was normal to have conflicting views and opinions. There was no such thing as perfect.

In their case, if they were going to date, then it was going to become even crazier in the future.

As much as it would be nice to lie to herself that they would get along with each other, she knew that it was just a pipe dream.

Waylon didn’t argue with her answer at all, as he felt that her reasoning made sense.

"When that happens, let us sit down and deal with the matter, okay?"

She chuckled when she heard that but still nodded in agreement. "Um, lets do that. If we delay, we might end up having misunderstandings. When left without dealt with for a long time, it might be disastrous."

Waylon agreed to that 100%. He could still remember how his first relationship ended. If Jackie had talked with him, or he had bene honest in the beginning, perhaps, things shouldn’t have gotten messier. Not that he regretted breaking up with Jackie. After all, their breakup made him to be with Diamond, and the feelings were much stronger than before.

Who didn’t want to be happy in love?

"I will bear that in mind. If there is something that I feel uncomfortable with, I will sit down with you," he said, promising in advance.

He didn’t want to lose her and neither was she.

"Good. I will do the same as well. being harmonious, will make the relationship go stronger."
