SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 1031 - 1028: ARRIVING IN BRECE
As the plane landed, Diamond recalled something very important. First, she turned off the broadcast, since she wasn’t willing for her fans to meet Gael just yet.
Secondly, she hasn’t learnt the local language, and recalling the languages’ part, currently from the ten language skills, she claimed the Universal language, Gesalsi language, Country Y language, Rozinya language, and, Dynalis language. Since she was landing in Brece, and will be coming again in the future, she picked the local language of the Brece people, making the total language claimed to become six.
Now she has four more left. What more languages should she pick? She wondered, and then an idea popped in her mind as she thought about Zara.
Zara was knowledgeable on few languages which she learnt through hard work.
Not only could she speak, but she also knew sign language, which made it easier for her to bond with those fans of hers that couldn’t talk.
It also reminded her of several comments she once read in her barrage, about some deaf fans who also likes watching her broadcasts and programs. Although, she already has something to deal with such kinds of situations, since her broadcasts offer a wide variety of subtitles, as well as sign language interpretation, all thanks to the system and her dedicated son, Andrea.
However, it wouldn’t hurt to learn sign language and be able to communicate with her deaf fans or other people as a whole.
Since the polyglot skills were meant to be used, she thought about it hard as the plane almost come to a stop and picked three more languages to make it nine, while leaving the last slot for an emergency of some kind.
With that in mind, she picked sign language, braille and animal language.
For sign language, she opted for universal sign language, and not focusing on a single country. It will be better that way. Anyway, if worse comes to worst, she can just learn others on her own and improvise when needed.
For the braille, while the blind could talk, it will be nice to read what they can write and be able to write to them as well.
With that in mind, she picked contracted braille, which was advanced and uses shorthand system that uses special sigs to represent common words or letter combinations.
It saves space, increase reading speed compared to the uncontracted braille. Since she didn’t plan to remain mediocre, picking contracted braille for advanced readers suited her more.
As for the animal language, she will be able to understand more what they say and the like.
There was so much to learn from animals, and she was interested.
With the nine languages intact, Diamond finally moved onto dealing with the security checks and the like.
Meanwhile, Gael waited nervously for Diamond to come out.
Ever since learning that she was coming over to see him, he was so happy and then became anxious as this visit was sudden.
He wanted to host her well, spend time with her and the like. But with the sudden visit, Gael could only negotiate for three days off. The company wasn’t allowing something longer than that. It was simply abrupt.
With the three days he got, and the others before she came, he busied himself to clean the apartment thoroughly.
He knew how much she liked her cleanliness.
He also stocked the fridge and pantry with groceries and the like.
He tried his best in that short period, and hopefully she will like it.
He also monitored her journey through the broadcast when he has free time, and now it was time to see her finally.
Diamond’s private plane was going to be landing at the airport around 11 am. He came earlier in case something happens. It was pretty normal.
To welcome his beloved girlfriend, he bought a large bouquet of orchids. He has missed her so much, and after some research, learnt that orchids apart from conveying love, luxury and sophistication, they also symbolize missing someone. So, they made it perfect for his occasion.
With an orchid bouquet in his hands, he craned his neck, looking towards the gate that Diamond had told him hours ago that she will be using.
Sometime around 11:15 am, his heart fluttered as it pounded loudly in his chest as he spotted her, the woman he will recognize even if he is asleep.
She walked elegantly, holding just a small bag, with a radiant smile on her face.
It was still summer and the weather kind of hot this side.
She wore a burgundy V neck shirt dress with a tight-clenching waist line which accentuated her curves to the fullest. Her hair tied in some messy bun and a pair of black sandals adorned her feet.
From a distance he could spot a diamond anklet on her ankle, and that striking daffodil tattoo on her right thigh couldn’t be hidden at all.
Gulp.
He swallowed unconsciously as his heart raced, looking at her with unblinking eyes while inwardly feeling prideful.
’That’s my woman. The mother of my children!’
Unconsciously, he started moving towards her and somewhat found his voice as he called out to her affectionately, "Diamond!" and her gaze locked with his, and her smile brightened.
"Dear!" she called out happily as she hastened the speed, and the two lovers who last saw each other in May ran to each other, a pair of beautiful people was quite a beautiful scene to see.
Some even took out their phones to capture that very moment.
"I miss you so much!"
"Me too!"
The two lovers embraced each other in a warm hug and passionately exchanged words of affection.
Being held in his embrace, Diamond felt secure and a sense of belonging.
’He is mine, and nobody else!’
And the fact that Gael was hers, made her even happier.
The insecurity caused by Wyatt and Nolan started to slowly diminish.
Gael on the other side was very happy. He never thought that reuniting with her would be so passionate and affectionate.
Here was different from when they were in Athary and he kinda liked this a lot.
The two hugged for a while before they reluctantly parted.
"I got you orchids," he sheepishly said, pushing the bouquet over to her.
{Mother, they mean missing you,} Andrea chirped in her ear, making her beam brightly at her boyfriend as she accepted the flowers.
"Thank you. I love them very much."
Gael sighed with relief seeing that she liked them.
The two were no longer strangers or awkward around each other. once the welcoming stage passed, they hooked arms and walked steadily to the baggage area while the bodyguards followed from behind.
The two chatted, and caught up on what they have missed on each other.
After claiming her suitcases as well as the bodyguards’, they left the airport and Diamond got into Gael’s car, while the bodyguards entered their own.
Sitting inside his car, Diamond enjoyed the scenery as Gael dutifully introduced her to this and that of the city.
The city she was in wasn’t the capital city but another major city in Brece. This city has several beaches, which made her quite happy as she was quite eager to go to one.
The last time she was in Gesalsi, she couldn’t enjoy the sea properly since it was cold, but this time, in Brece, she could see herself letting loose and enjoying herself to the fullest extent.
"This place is beautiful and full of goodies that are not back at home," she sighed with emotions, eyeing several coconut trees she could spit from a distance.
"Hehe, it’s a nice place indeed but it can’t surpass home."
"You miss home?"
"Always. Thank goodness I will be returning."
"Have you thought about where you will be relocating to?" she asked curiously, her hopes pretty high that he will come to Frin City.
Having her boyfriends’ staying close will be pretty nice. But if not possible, she wouldn’t mind. Traveling was just a matter of making a call. Moreover, it was nice to travel and see places.
Gael didn’t respond right away as he was actually facing a dilemma and one, he didn’t plan on tackling just yet.
He could hear the anticipation in her voice and it made his heart tickle with joy. She must be waiting me to come over to her city. That alone shows that she has him in her mind, and it brought him joy.
Seeing him taking his time to respond, she felt a bit sullen as she got an inkling that he might not be decided yet. However, she quickly recovered as these kinds of matters shouldn’t be rushed, lest a mistake was done.
So, she comfortingly said, "don’t pressure yourself. Take your time and wherever you settle, it will be fine with me. After all, distance has never been a barrier."
It will also give her a lot of space and time to have some with others, like Waylon without worrying about Gael.
Gael on the other hand didn’t know what she was thinking and looked at her gratefully, relieved that she wasn’t pressuring him into making choices.
He was actually torn between Frin City and Voxfort City, his home city.
