Chapter 64: Forbidden Mage Realm!

Austonia City was currently bustling with life. With Academy classes suspended for two ( 2 ) weeks, students had nothing better to do but to either train, or go out and enjoy themselves. Security had increased massively due to the attack, which made citizens feel a whole lot safer than before.

The streets of Austonia City were crowded with bustling life; Demons, Humans, DemiHumans, Elves and many more various races could be seen walking around enjoying themselves as the brilliant sun faded away, making room for the moon to illuminate the surrounding area.

Restaurants and Bars were filled to the brim with citizens drinking and enjoying themselves, storytellers capitalized perfectly upon the occasion, weaving magnificent stories to capture the eyes and attention of all of the citizens in the area.

Today was a special day for the World of Austonia Overall. It was Heroes Remembrance Day!

This day was made to remember all of the Brave Heroes of Austonia who had died in battle against the Abyss.

Throughout multiple eras, brave heroes of various died protecting the world against Abyssal attacks, from small-scale isolated attacks to massive Empire destruction level attacks that threatened world stability.

This annual event had become a tradition that everyone loved to enjoy themselves as they partied and drank, and various activities could be done inside the City, including special performances all in the name of remembering the heroes who had died defending citizens around the world.

As everyone indulged themselves in the festivities, Damon was in the Training Room of his Safe-House, preparing for a breakthrough. He had been Peak Mana Emperor ( A ) for a while but was finally ready to break through to the Forbidden Mage ( S ) realm.

Damon sat on a mat created by special fabric that was given to him through a Sign-In Reward. The mat boosted the chances of a successful breakthrough and allowed users to meditate much easier.

This time, Damon had made ample preparations to break through to the Forbidden Mage Realm. The entire Safe House had a special defensive formation to reinforce it, and the training room also had an extra defensive formation to block anything from leaking out and harming the environment.

Damon had heard and seen many of the phenomena that occurred when a person broke through, and if he wasn’t careful, it could potentially destroy the entire Safe-House. This was why "BreakThrough Rooms." was a massively lucrative business in Austonia.

Finally, once Damon had everything in order, the breakthrough had officially begun. Damon took out a purple-colored potion from the system space and drank the entire bottle. The potion simply increased the chances of a successful breakthrough.

As soon as he drank the potion, Damon felt the magic power in his body going wild and he immediately entered a meditative state. In an instant, the Aether power in his body completely boiled, trying to run riot. A Draconic Aura leaked out as his aura became more and more horrifyingly powerful.

All the Aether in his body went berserk. It could not leak out. If it leaked out, it meant that he had failed the breakthrough. Fortunately, during these years, Damon had already improved his Aether Manipulation Abilities to an extremely terrifying level.

A normal person breaking through to the Forbidden Mage Tier would already be extremely dangerous, but Damon wasn’t just a normal person. He had 2 immensely powerful bloodlines, the strongest level of talent in existence, alongside many other powerful special abilities that all boosted his power, making his breakthrough much more dangerous than a normal person, as he needed to perfectly control all his power.

The more powerful a person is in their rank, the harder the breakthrough would be, which is why some persons without high aspirations broke through at the first hurdle, not pushing themselves in fear of death.

The Forbidden Mage Tier was a completely new world to Mana Emperor’s, which was why, aside from Damon and a few other freakishly generationally talented persons, it was near impossible for a Mana Emperor to even touch a Forbidden Mage in combat, let alone defeat them.

Only persons like Damon, with exceptional power and drive, could overcome this gap, but it was still extremely difficult for most.

This was because from an Mana Emperor to a Forbidden Mage, it was necessary to condense and refine all of the magic power or Aether in one’s body. It was compressed and compressed again, improving the quality and quantity of magic power or Aether. This kind of power could trigger the Mana or Aether Rules.

This was the different between a Mana Emperor and a Forbidden Mage, Forbidden Mages had the ability to trigger the Mana or Aether Rules. The Rules were mysterious, but they were said to be the fundamental existence of Magic in its entirety, and the ability to tap into these rules massively boosted the power of Forbidden Mages, which was why there was usually such a massive gap in strength between the tiers.

The entire process of breaking through to the Forbidden Mage Realm was impossible to stop.

Once it started, it could not be stopped. Once it stopped, it meant failure. Once it failed, it meant death. Therefore, to become a Forbidden mage, other than success, there was only death. There was no third choice. This was why many persons didn’t dare breakthrough, out of pure fear.

After an unknown amount of time, the Aether in his body seemed to be reaching its peak and the pressure of the magic power in his body grew stronger and stronger. It emitted an unimaginable and terrifying power.

His eyes glowed a terrifying way and Draconic Roars echoed throughout the room, making it tremble.

BOOM!

As the breakthrough reached its peak, a BOOM occurred in Damon’s ears, and he felt his entire soul shake, as if it was facing a huge resistance. A shocking force enveloped his soul, as if it was the might of the heavens, wanting to completely crush it. It was as if the world was trying to hold Damon down, refusing to let him breakthrough.

"ROOOOOAAAARRRR!"

Yet, Damon moved on, his unswerving focus and determination held strong as he roared loudly, like a Primordial Dragon angry at the world for daring to hold him back. All the restraints and pressure of the world cracked like glass under his roar and finally, Damon had stepped into the Forbidden Mage Realm.

Breathing heavily, Damon felt the changes in his body. He sensed the air touching every part of his body, it was easier to breathe, see, and hear. His body had become much more powerful, more firm.

His veins were now pulsing with a purple glow, and his skin and bones seemed to have hardened. He felt as if his body was now stronger and more resilient than ever before, like a true Dragon.

He took a deep breath and tried to focus his mind, testing out his newfound strength. He felt an incredible surge of power coursing through his veins, and he could sense that his Aether Quality and Quantity had massively improved.

He had never felt so alive and invigorated before, even his cock was roaring to go, hardened and wanting to fuck something, yet Victoria had already departed, needing to go to her work.

However, the benefits were clearly visible and Damon could feel twice, no, he felt thrice or quadruple more powerful than before. He couldn’t really grasp his new power but felt that he could easily stomp all the enemies he had faced in the past. fгeewёbnoѵel_cσm

Feeling the change in his body, Damon felt much more powerful. He felt like he could destroy a mountain with a single punch.

Damon spent a couple more hours adapting to his power and solidifying his foundation before preparing to head out to the Dragon Isles.

5 HOURS LATER

It was well into the night, and Damon was completely ready to leave Austonia City and head to the Dragon Isles. He had already called his Mother and told her what he would be doing and where he would be going, and all she said was,

"Don’t be surprised by your Father’s Antics, stay safe, and don’t embarrass me."

Damon liked how upfront his mother was, and simply smiled at her words, he had also told all his colleagues from the Academy that he was going on a personal trip.

For his trip, he would leave by taking the Mana Train to Dragon City. Dragon City was the closest City to the Dragon Isles, under the direct control of the Dragon Clan, and thus Damon needed to pass through Dragon City to get to his initial destination.

Damon arrived at the Mana Train Station and awaited its arrival. Mana Trains were basically high speed trains from his old world with massively improved technology and features using Magic such as Space Magic to increase the space, allowing VIP rooms and many other recreational rooms.

Soon, the Mana Train arrived, and Damon entered, going towards the VIP Room he reserved and taking a nice relaxing seat as he drank a drink provided from the Train’s Bar.

~RING~RING~RING!

As Damon was relaxing, his phone rang, and he quickly checked it, realizing it was Athena, his personal assistance, "Hello Boss, I’ve sent you a detailed document about the Dragon Clan and it’s culture, please read through it before your arrival."

Damon simply nodded and hung up, deciding to check out the document to kill time. He hadn’t ever visited the clan, so there was still things he needed to know.

First of all, Dragons have royalty and their words must be followed at all times. The Royal Family and leading family in the Dragon Clan was the Flandre Family, at which Damon’s Father came from.

The Head of the Flandre Family was Varus Flandre, Damon’s uncle, however, he had gone mostly unseen over the past few years, only appearing for big moments using the excuse of important work.

His Son and Heir was Antares Flandre, Damon’s cousin, and also the one who held a strange level of animosity towards Damon during his awakening. Damon hadn’t forgot that, just placing it at the back of his mind as he had many things going on, but now he had a chance to find out the reasoning.

The Flandre Family is pure royalty among Dragons, they play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of power and harmony among the various elven clans and communities and are extremely influential.

Combat is also a massive part of Dragon Society, as they frequently solve problems through Publicized Battles unless the crime is too fatal, at which the Dragon Elders, the Heads of Each Clan and other influential Dragons, hold a vote to decide what to do.

Dragons are also extremely territorial. Every Adult Dragon has their own small territory to call home, and it is extremely disrespectful to invade that territory without valid reasoning.

As Damon continued reading, he didn’t realize timed had passed by quickly and soon, the Mana Train had arrived at its station in Dragon City.

Damon was now ready to head to the Dragon Isles!
