Chapter 56: Dead Men Tell No Tales!
"That’s simple, just lure the Fish with the Bait!"
Damon’s words echoed out within the room, ringing in the ears of the 4 others present, sending each of them into deep thought as a deep silence filled the space.
"How do we bait them out? We don’t even know a single member of their organization." Columbia spoke, bringing up her valuable concerns to Damon.
Damon chuckled and responded, "You’re right, we don’t know any member of their organization.....But we do have a lead. The persons who informed both of you of your children’s deaths must be connected to this secret organization in some way. Otherwise, it would be impossible to tell you about their deaths, and get you into the Academy before Ms. Blaze is informed."
As Damon spoke, the others were suddenly enlightened and understood his plan. Using the messengers to get to the people behind him, it was an intelligent scheme.
"Ms. Blaze. Can you release the information that you’ve found the Killers, and that there will be a trial judged by the Eternal Court in 3 days? 3 days is all I need to locate the killers and gather enough evidence to shut this conspiracy down." Damon suddenly said, looking towards his distant family member, Blaze.
The Eternal Court could be called the Judges of the World. They were chosen using a Artifact that could gleam the purity of someone’s heart and soul. Only those with Divine Tier of Purity were suitable to be member’s of the Eternal Court, as they would be strictly fair and not condone any bribes or anything of the sort. The function of the Eternal Court was to conduct trials that involved immensely powerful people, in order to stop widespread negative consequences.
"Hmm, I’ll trust you Rivelea. Don’t let us down!" Blaze said, her voice stern as her eyes locked onto Damon.
"Of course not, Everything will go perfectly!" Damon responded, chuckling!

Later that Night!
A blanket of darkness descended upon the Academy as daytime turned to night. The stars twinkling beautifully in the night sky, creating a captivating canvas upon the dark sky. However, this beautiful sky couldn’t hide the raging undercurrents that were occurring within the Academy’s boarders.
A dark, eerie hallway could be seen. On either side of the hallway, one could see prisoner cages. These cages were viscous, torture tools lined up on the walls of each-individual cage. In the middle of some cages, one could see persons tied up, Magic Restricting Chains locking them up.
Their bodies could be seen with terrifying wounds, many of them recognizable as torture injuries. Their blood running down their rough skin and onto the floor, making small puddles all over. Some of them were missing eyes, some missing arms, some missing other, important reproductive parts.....
Inside one of the cages, a Human could be seen. He was middle aged, and only in the Mana Grandmaster realm. His body was jagged with wounds yet he bit his tongue and refused to speak.
"Tsk, if you keep refusing, I’ll have to use crueler methods than torture. I’m not adverse to killing families of my prisoners, although I usually like to abstain from such needless killings." An elegant, domineering voice rang out in the room.
In front of the tortured, bleeding man was an elegant looking 6’8, supernaturally handsome Demon. This Demon was naturally Damon Rivelea.
Unlike usually, he was wearing a rough combat pants, and nothing on his upper body, revealing his firm, muscled upper body. His hands were holding daggers soaked in the blood of the Human in front of him, and his shoes had viscous deadly retractable spikes on the bottom that were currently sunk deep into the Human’s reproductive organ.
Damon was currently inside the [ Origin Demonic Prison Pagoda ]. This was a Sign-In Reward he had received 2 years ago. The Pagoda worked as a Prison where Damon could hold his enemies. It’s size could be manipulated, allowing Damon to carry it along with him wherever he went.
The person Damon was currently torturing was the person who had messaged Pangu about the death of Achilles. Damon had already tortured the person who messaged Columbia, but obtained very little information.
~SPIT~
The Prisoner spat towards Damon and looked at him with ferocious, terrifyingly angry eyes, as if wanting to rip him to shreds. Yet Damon ignored him.
"Just know when your Soul is going into the Cycle of Reincarnation, I never wanted to kill you!" Damon said, his hand landing on the head of the prisoner before activating one of his Mystical Powers.
"AARRRGGGGG!" A blood-curling scream echoed across the room as Damon ripped the Human’s Soul to fragments, forcefully reading his memories through these fragments while annihilating all form of resistance the Human had. During this, Damon made sure to intentionally activate the formation within these persons Souls protecting their memories.
This formation would erase all of their memories and send a message to their superior, yet Damon’s mystical power managed to activate the formation while simultaneously obtaining the memories of the Human.
Damon extracted the memories and loaded them into a <Memory Crystal>, storing the Crystal alongside the memories of the other messenger.
Once Damon was finished, he left the Pagoda, walking to his bathroom to take a cold shower. He used a Magical Spell to erase all of the blood off of his skin, not leaving any evidence that he was the one who killed those 2 messengers.
"Damon. I understand your intention, but won’t purposefully activating those messenger’s formations make the enemy even more antsy, and potentially send them into hiding?" Ezreal asked Damon from the World Spirit Space, curious about his Master’s intentions with his actions.
Damon nodded at Ezreal’s worries while entering the shower and spoke, "In fact, I want them to know I tried to read the memories of the messenger. This way, they’ll feel even more confident their plan is foolproof as they believe all the evidence would be destroyed!"
"Now, all I need to do is wait for them to take action and everything will fall into place. In order for the enemies plan to be perfect, they naturally need to control me. They’ll definitely try to control me using the Nether-Dream Abyssal Emperor Artifact. Then, it’ll be easy pickings finding their true identities."
Damon said, finishing his shower and getting changed, grabbing a glass of blood wine for good measure.

In reality, what Damon had said was entirely true. Currently, within a secret meeting room within the Academy, six ( 6 ) figures were currently seated around a table. Their faces were clouded by a mystical fog protecting their identities from each-other. Although they worked together to bring the Demons down, they didn’t want their identities revealed by their allies in case things went South.
"Principal Blaze has revealed that a Trial regarding Achilles and Rosalyn’s deaths will be conducted by the Eternal Court. I presume she realized has no other choice than to sacrifice Damon and Sonna to satisfy the masses." One of the shadowy figures said.
"Once those 2 geniuses are dealt with, we’ll be easily able to suppress the Demons and have them kicked from the Academy. It won’t be long before our forces completely devour the Demons and erase them from the list of powerhouses." Another shadowy figure said, their voice laced with delight and anticipation.
"We didn’t come here for a victory lap. We came here to finalize our plans. Everything is going well now, but the messengers we sent to Achilles and Rosalyn’s parents both had their memories forcefully searched. Thankfully the formation activated and erased their memories, but we should deal with that variable immediately." Said a 3rd figure, their voice much more authoritative and serious than the others.
"Hhmm. Then I’ll use the DreamKiller Mirror to take them down." Another figure said, and a pitch-black mirror cloaked in the Aura of Darkness and Death appeared in the middle of the room for everyone to see. This was the Artifact they had used to conduct all of those killings.
The shadowy figure was full of confidence and continued to imbue their power into the Artifact to get it to work, tracing the aura of the one who killed the messengers to draw them into the DreamWorld and kill them.
A blurry, almost illusionary figure slowly began appearing in the mirror, and a DreamWorld began forming around the illusionary figure.
However, just when they thought that the mirror was working as intended, the blurry figure in the mirror suddenly stretched out his hand. This hand actually crossed the barrier of time and space and stretched out from the mirror!
"AH!" The abrupt attack of the blurry person made the shadowy figures let out horrifying cries, and in their shocked eyes, this hand grabbed the neck of the shadowy figure who used the mirror and dragged him into the Dreamworld, before shattering it and leaving everyone stunned.
This matter alarmed all of them, but before they could respond, "Memory Oblivione!" An eerie sound echoed within the room and a short flash of light occurred, causing all of them to close their eyes. Once they had reawakened, they had forgotten everything that had happened.
Meanwhile, the person who was dragged in the mirror found themselves in a dark, eerie prison cage, viscous chains wrapped around their arms restricting their magic.
What was more terrifying was that a demon coated in blood was staring at him, chuckling as he spoke, "Nice to meet you, I’m Damon Rivelea. But you don’t need to know that, after all....
