Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure-Chapter 2105: Forcing it out
When the day was over, there was a satisfied look on Lupus’ face while I just looked exhausted.
She really didn’t hold back at all during these tests.
It seemed like she had wanted to run for a long time, but she never had a chance to run until now.
With how much Lupus enjoyed herself, it didn’t take long for her to fall asleep.
"Watch over her for a bit, I’ll be back soon."
The ones that I gave these instructions to didn’t seem keen about this, but they still promised that they would follow these instructions.
Though if Lupus really woke up and wanted to find me, it wasn’t as if they would have been able to stop her.
So it was about getting the information that I wanted before she woke up.
Leaving everyone behind, I snuck down into the territory of the wind elementals. After seeing Lupus control the wind to push the gas, I had learned how to do the same with my powers.
The wind elementals didn’t show themselves at first, but then they all gathered around me.
"I need to see your ancestor."
After I said this, the wind elementals went off to find the ancestor. With Lupus’ guarantee, the wind elemental ancestor had promised that it was willing to see me whenever.
Though it certainly regretted this decision when I asked it the questions that I had.
"Who was the one that used the saddle previously?"
Though I couldn’t really see the face of the wind elemental ancestor, it wasn’t hard to see how it felt awkward at hearing this question with the way that its wind body changed.
It didn’t seem like it wanted to answer this question.
"I’ll leave now if you don’t tell me."
The wind elementals that had been listening all panicked when they heard this and they gathered around the ancestor.
The ancestor ignored them as it focused on me. It seemed like it was trying to figure out if I was being serious or not.
But I just waited for it to speak.
After a long silence where it just wasn’t saying anything, I said with a nod, "Then, I’ll be leaving."
There was a flustered appearance that came over the ancestor, but it didn’t seem like it was planning on saying anything.
This was a game of chicken between the two of us and in the end, the wind elemental ancestor lost.
It had tried to hold out for as long it could, but this wasn’t something that it could allow to happen.
So in the end, the wind elemental ancestor had no choice but to say, "Wait."
I turned around when it said this, but I didn’t have a patient look on my face. The way that I looked at the wind elemental ancestor was as if I was telling it to speak as soon as possible.
There was a very awkward appearance that came over the wind elemental ancestor when it saw this.
Since it still didn’t mean that this was enough to stop me.
Seeing that it wasn’t going to say anything, I turned around once more as if I was about to leave.
"It was the God of Wind Zephyrus." The wind elemental ancestor said in a way almost as if it was admitting defeat.
Since I had won our game of chicken, I turned back to look at the wind elemental ancestor and said, "Why did it do something like this?"
"This is a personal matter for her, so don’t you think that this is something that you should discuss with her?"
With a bitter smile, I asked, "If she was willing to talk, would I be here?"
What seemed to be a bitter smile appeared on the face of the wind elemental ancestor when I said this.
I had slowly gotten better at reading them after being with them for a while now.
"It’s because Zephyrus was the one that created her in the first place." The wind elemental ancestor dropped this bomb in quite the casual manner that I was caught off guard.
But after processing their words, I couldn’t help looking at the wind elemental ancestor with a very strange look.
"It could even be said that she’s their daughter."
I really didn’t know what to say in response to this, but I knew that the wind elemental ancestor wouldn’t say anything more than this. It wasn’t that it didn’t know anything, it was that it really couldn’t say anything else.
After all, I could see the tremor that passed through its body when it said the second thing.
It seemed like some kind of warning from an unknown place to the wind elemental ancestor, as if there was something that was telling it that it was speaking too much.
But if Zephyrus was the one that created Lupus and even created this saddle, then it meant that they had clearly created Lupus for one reason.
As this thought passed through my mind, I couldn’t help feeling sorry for Lupus.
This really changed how I felt about the way that she had acted in the afternoon.
After all, this was all because of the upraising that she had been given.
There was a part of me that really wanted to find Zephyrus and question them on why they had done all of this. But it wasn’t as if I had a way to find Zephyrus and ask this question.
Even if I went to the god’s realm, it wasn’t as if I controlled who I met.
I also doubted that Solista would take my side on this matter and find Zephyrus for me.
I was just a human, it wasn’t as if I could force a god to meet with me, much less get an answer from them.
So the only thing that I could do for Lupus was to support her and make sure that she didn’t feel unwanted.
After all, I was starting to understand the kind of expectation that had been put on her in the past.
