She Has Three Little Treasures: Fake Heiress, Yet Captures The Tycoon's Heart-Chapter 1020: Should We Chop Her Up and Feed Her to the Dogs?
The Third Elder quickly waved his hand: "I wouldn’t dare accept being called old man. You’re Raina’s brother-in-law, that would mess up the hierarchy. But, what do I count as? Compared to Raina’s mighty presence, I’m far behind."
Jasper Hawthorne was taken aback: "Raina? You mean my sister-in-law? My sister-in-law is mighty?"
"That’s right, you don’t know how Raina led us to seize the land back then..."
"Cough cough..."
Hearing someone clearing their throat, the Third Elder quickly changed his sentence mid-sentence: "...led us to raid the supermarket for goods; she was unstoppable, everyone who saw her was in awe."
Jasper Hawthorne: "..."
So, his sister-in-law defeated all the elderly people who went to grab groceries, right?
Jasper suddenly recalled from a long time ago, watching those elderly folks fighting aggressively for discounted vegetables, and felt a pang of sympathy for his sister-in-law. What kind of life did she live, having to do such things?
Thus, Jasper looked at Raina North with deep compassion, realizing how tough life had been for his sister-in-law.
He silently vowed in his heart that once his brother returned, he would make sure his brother treated his sister-in-law well because she had suffered too much.
The Third Elder noticed Jasper Hawthorne’s reaction and felt a bit guilty, as if he had caused a misunderstanding, but hopefully, it didn’t have a negative impact... right?
Raina North: "..."
While they were talking, Susan Kensington’s assistant was quietly approaching with a knife in hand, her eyes filled with excitement and fervor.
She wanted to seize the moment when they weren’t paying attention to take action against Raina North, believing that if she managed to kill Raina, she would not only be free of guilt but would also receive Susan’s grand praise.
As for the pair of highly capable bodyguards Raina brought along, the assistant didn’t even consider them a threat.
If being skilled meant one could become the boss, those brute fighters would have already been on top long ago.
Right now...
The assistant abruptly raised her hand, gripping the knife fiercely as she stabbed towards Raina.
And then, she flew out at a speed much faster than she had come in.
Her body slammed against the wall and fell to the ground with a thud, opening her mouth and vomiting a mouthful of fresh blood.
Lune strode over, grabbing her by her clothes and lifting her up, looking at her seemingly gentle face, but his eyes showed no emotion: "Raina, should we chop her up and feed her to the dogs?"
The straightforward remark did not draw much attention from others, as they were used to hearing threats and didn’t take them seriously.
However, Raina knew that Lune’s words were meant literally, without any discount.
"Dogs are loyal and cute, it’s better not to feed them this garbage."
"Alright." Lune replied, deciding to send the person to the junkyard later, since garbage should properly belong in a junk pile.
The Third Elder noticed that someone dared to make a move against the Alliance Hierarch, and his face turned serious and cold: "Raina, maybe I should break everyone else’s hands too so they don’t act recklessly."
While saying this, he cast his eyes towards Susan Kensington.
Susan’s face turned deathly pale, and the other staff present were equally terrified, not daring to breathe loudly.
Initially, they thought Raina came with this one elder and one youth just for a joke, but unexpectedly, they were so ruthless.
"No need; knocking them out just complicates matters."
The Third Elder immediately agreed: "You’re right, Raina, you’re foresightful as always."
Jasper Hawthorne came to his senses: "Sister-in-law, let’s leave here now. The Hawthorne Group now..." isn’t the same as it was when my brother was in charge.
Thinking of his brother, whose whereabouts were unknown, Jasper’s gaze turned somber. Soon, he pulled himself together: "In any case, we should hurry and leave before more people notice something’s wrong outside and come."
