Shattered by Fate, Restored by Truth-Chapter 333: Didn’t You Go by Su Yao When You Were Young?
Chapter 333: Chapter 333: Didn’t You Go by Su Yao When You Were Young?
Shen Xiaochen had already guessed the answer, but she didn’t expect it to be true.
She paused briefly, then let out a light chuckle.
Look at that, Su Wanxin really belongs with such people. Calling her a hypocritical ’white, rich, and beautiful’ isn’t doing her any injustice!
"Let’s find a place to talk."
Shen Xiaochen led them away, and the two looked at each other. They were initially hesitant, but upon seeing the luxury car worth several million parked by the roadside, they promptly followed.
Could someone so rich possibly deceive them?
Shen Xiaochen found a nearby café and led them inside, choosing a secluded corner to sit down.
"You just said, Su Wanxin is your family?"
She sized them up, and upon seeing them nod repeatedly, she couldn’t help but let out a snort of laughter.
"What are you laughing at?" The man grew annoyed at being laughed at and asked with a frown.
"I’m just happy for Su Wanxin. She has always been looking for her family, and now she can finally find them."
Shen Xiaochen’s voice was gentle, reducing their wariness a bit.
"But as far as I know, she grew up in a wealthy household. You claim to be her family, so how can you prove it?"
"I have photos! Pictures of her when she was little!"
The man urgently pulled out several yellowed old photos from his pocket, and Shen Xiaochen took a close look, her brow furrowing slightly.
The child in the photos was only two or three years old; what could that reveal? But... she did bear a striking resemblance to Su Wanxin’s son.
She examined the photos more carefully, nodding thoughtfully as the man continued to spill the beans.
"When she was three, her parents died. Our family was poor and couldn’t afford to keep her, so we had no choice but to send her to the orphanage. Heh~ Who would have thought! This girl has such luck; she was actually taken in by a rich family!"
However, she changed her name, she didn’t use Su Wanxin back then, or else they wouldn’t have recognized her so late.
"Is it true that she’s now making hundreds of thousands a year?" The man asked Shen Xiaochen in a low voice.
"Not just that, she’s got tens of millions." Shen Xiaochen’s answer revealed the man’s greedy look. "That building you just visited is all bought by her."
"Then give me her number quickly! I have urgent matters to discuss with her!"
"Sure, I’ll give it to you." Shen Xiaochen agreed readily. "And I can also give you a reporter’s contact. If Su Wanxin refuses to acknowledge you, you can go to the reporter to expose her nature of denying all relations."
"Ah... you’re such a nice person, thank you!"
Shen Xiaochen gave them Su Wanxin’s number, her own number, and the reporter’s number, then left in a hurry as if avoiding plague.
The stench on them was so vile; any longer and she might have thrown up.
She was keen to see how Su Wanxin would explain her origins when this all blew up!
If she had the courage to admit that she was adopted by the Fu Family, then... Shen Xiaochen would make sure everyone knew that Li Mo’s legs were broken by this ungrateful, white-eyed wolf!
After Shen Xiaochen left, the two men dialed Su Wanxin’s number with the information they had been given.
Inside her office, Su Wanxin frowned slightly as she listened to the stranger’s voice claiming to be Su Qiang, her uncle’s son, and coldly replied, "Sorry, you’ve got the wrong person."
"Hey! How could it be wrong?" Su Qiang asked anxiously, "Weren’t you called Su Yao when you were little? Weren’t your parents fruit vendors with a cart, have you forgotten?"
