Chapter 307: Chapter 307: She Is Ultimately Not from the Fu Family

To Mu Xinghan, Fu Yansheng wouldn’t even bother to spare a glance.

Su Wanxin hesitated for a moment before speaking softly, "No need, I’ll go by myself."

She got into the car and closed the door, constantly thinking about what purpose Fu Yansheng had in seeking her out.

The last time they met was at the Fu Family, during Fu Shili’s engagement party.

Su Wanxin admitted that she had been a bit carefree during this period. She only remembered the good things about being with Fu Shihan, almost forgetting whether she was worthy of such goodness.

The car slowly started, and the inside was quiet.

Su Wanxin gently clenched her hands resting on her lap, turned her head, and looked at Fu Yansheng.

"Grandpa came to see me, it’s because of Fu Shihan, right?"

Fu Yansheng didn’t speak, just sighed. His sigh brought some peace to Su Wanxin’s heart.

Thankfully, he wasn’t like her Grandpa who would tie her up right away.

"From now on, stay away from Shihan."

Finally, Fu Yansheng spoke, saying something that was both unexpected and expected by Su Wanxin.

He had never liked her being together with Fu Shihan, she knew it well.

"The car accident, my Fu Family won’t pursue it anymore, we’ll give you some money, just don’t come back."

Su Wanxin was slightly stunned; she never thought she would one day hear such words from the Fu Family.

Her heart ached faintly, she thought for a moment and asked, "Grandpa thinks I came back for money?"

"I don’t care why you came back, just stay away from my grandson."

Fu Yansheng’s tone started to harden, letting Su Wanxin understand that he wasn’t here to discuss but to issue a direct command.

"Okay," Su Wanxin nodded. "Just give me one reason, and I’ll agree."

Her response seemed to startle Fu Yansheng. He paused for a moment, then gave her an answer.

"Your destiny has changed, staying by his side will only harm him."

Su Wanxin never expected it was for such a reason.

She wanted to laugh but could not; instead, tears involuntarily started falling as she blinked.

She tried to speak several times, but ultimately, she said nothing.

The car continued to slowly drive on the road, making a round before returning to the Su Family’s vicinity.

"Stop the car."

Su Wanxin stayed silent for a long while before finally speaking.

"I agree, let me out."

Her pragmatic attitude quite satisfied Fu Yansheng; he nodded to the driver to stop the car, and Su Wanxin left without another word.

Mu Xinghan rode his bike behind, not understanding what this old man meant.

He saw Su Wanxin getting out of the car with red eyes, frowned, and went over, not waiting to speak, but then heard her ask, "Is my destiny the same as before after the accident?"

Mu Xinghan looked at the departing car, instantly understanding the meaning of Su Wanxin’s question.

He scoffed sarcastically, "The Fu Family doesn’t believe you can save Fu Shihan, yet they believe you can harm him?"

Su Wanxin chuckled softly, also feeling the situation was really sad.

But on further reflection, it seemed natural, so she felt even more upset.

After all, she was still an outsider.

The Fu Family was willing to take her in because they weren’t lacking money, buying peace of mind.

Now that she was useless, being kicked away, what right did she have to be dissatisfied? She had lived well with the Fu Family for more than a decade, and they had never mistreated her.

Su Wanxin kept comforting herself in her heart, but her heart was aching more and more.
