Chapter 780: Chapter 381: Unexpected Surprise (Five-in-One)_2
David said to Su Ming and others.
"Alright, Su Yuan, you protect them, I’ll go search and film."
Su Ming said to Su Yuan and others.
"Okay!"
Su Yuan and others immediately responded.
Su Ming manipulated the Slaughter Blade and leaped into the air, flying towards the distance.
He activated the Optical Imaging Device and filmed the terrain along the way.
The terrain of this giant planet was extremely complex, with enormous craters, rifts, and faults coming into view.
Besides these, there were countless caves.
These caves varied in size, and so far, the largest one had a diameter of over a thousand meters.
At this moment, Su Ming noticed a darkened geological area in the central region of some scattered caves.
He adjusted the Optical Imaging Device slightly, zooming in for a detailed shot, and transmitted the image back.
Before long, David’s excited voice sounded over the communication channel.
"Sir, what are the coordinates of that darkened geological area you filmed? We’re heading there now!"
"I’ll send them to you."
Su Ming answered calmly.
"Alright!"
David immediately responded.
...
More than an hour later.
Su Ming and others stood at a new survey point, vigilantly watching the surroundings.
This area was bustling with quite a few insects, but fortunately, most of them were low-intelligence bugs.
As long as they didn’t cause trouble, Su Ming and the others ignored them completely.
If it wasn’t absolutely necessary, they wouldn’t actively engage these insects.
Though low-level insects lacked intelligence, they were social creatures. Taking one down could attract a swarm, potentially triggering an avalanche effect.
At this moment, David and others had already set up the equipment and were conducting surveys.
While on guard, Su Yuan and others watched David and his team explore the mine, each of them tense, feeling their hearts in their throats.
They desperately wanted to ask how the survey was going but were afraid to disturb them.
At this moment, David and his team were even more tense than Su Ming’s group because this was their best mineral survey encounter in their lifetime.
Soon, the first batch of soil samples was unearthed.
They immediately manipulated the Iron Head to test the content of the sample soil.
Data continuously popped up on the operation room’s screen as they analyzed diligently.
With time passing by, Su Ming and the rest were on edge.
Suddenly, David operated the Iron Head Mecha and jumped up, accidentally knocking the survey equipment askew.
"What happened?"
Su Ming and others asked in shock.
David shouted with a trembling voice.
"Sir, sir! We’ve discovered Level 5 Titanium Tantalum Ore components! We’ve really found a Level 5 ore!"
Su Ming and others were stunned by David’s words, not knowing what to say for a moment.
After a few seconds, Su Ming took a deep breath and asked.
"What’s the content?"
"The content is unclear; the equipment isn’t advanced enough. But I suspect this giant planet might not only produce Titanium Tantalum Ore; there might be components of other Level 5 ores. It’s even possible there could be Eternal Metal. I strongly request deploying large-scale detection equipment for deep mineral surveying."
David said excitedly.
Su Yuan hesitantly spoke upon hearing this.
"Su Ming, what should we do now? With Level 5 ores found, do we still hand these coordinates to the Shabask Kingdom?"
"This is a bit complicated; the stakes are too high."
Su Ming said solemnly.
"Then what do we do now? None of us are high-level generals."
Zhou Mu and others said, at a loss.
After a few seconds of pondering, Su Ming addressed the crowd.
"This goes beyond what we can handle; I’m contacting Irelia and Dr. Blakes to inform them of the situation."
"That’s the only option."
Su Yuan and others agreed.
Without the slightest hesitation, Su Ming maximized the communication device signal and sent a communication request to the Light Shuttle.
Inside the Light Shuttle Central Control Room.
Irelia sat quietly in the command chair.
Dr. Blakes stood beside her, gazing at the projection of the Insect Star with a blank expression.
"Our time is running out."
"I know."
Irelia replied calmly.
At that moment, a notification popped up on the operational screen, and Lan Ning immediately reported.
"Lady Irelia, we’ve received a communication request from General Su Ming."
"Connect."
Irelia lifted her head and replied.
"Yes!"
Lan Ning quickly operated.
Soon, the communication was successfully established.
"Junior Su Ming, what’s happened?"
Irelia asked urgently.
"It’s not trouble, it’s a good thing, but it’s a bit too good."
Su Ming said with some difficulty.
"Tell me more."
Irelia asked, surprised.
"We’ve conducted a rough survey of the giant planet and detected Vibranium and Titanium Tantalum Ore components. There’s also a possibility of Eternal Metal components. This is an immensely resource-rich Mining Star!"
Su Ming reported to Irelia.
Lan Ning and others were stunned upon hearing this.
Irelia’s purple eyes fluctuated, and Dr. Blakes’ brow furrowed slightly.
Su Ming continued to ask.
"What do we do now? Do we really hand over this planet’s coordinates and samples to the Shabask Kingdom?"
"No, we can’t give it to them. These high-grade resources are extremely scarce in the Federation, and even the Xi Guang Laboratory has a limited annual quota."
Dr. Blakes said coldly.
"Then, what about the Star Storage activity?"
Su Ming said, in a bit of a bind.
At this moment, Irelia spoke rationally.
"If it’s as you say, this giant planet could be the largest resource Mining Star found by the Federation in nearly a century. It can’t be handed over to the Shabask Kingdom. Of course, neither can the Star Storage activity be abandoned, as this concerns the Federation’s interests."
