Seizing Destiny From Heavens Hands-Chapter 419: Repairing Cloudships in the C-grade Warehouse
Chapter 419: Repairing Cloudships in the C-grade Warehouse
Wang Xing'an’s openly fervent gaze made Shen Mo feel a chill down his spine.

It was the first time he’d ever experienced such a sensation.
Anyone unaware might think Wang Xing'an had a fondness for men.
Wang Xing'an said solemnly, “Since you know how to engrave enhancement formations, staying here to repair Blood Energy Cannons would be a waste of your talent.”
“Come with me to the C-grade warehouse!”
With that, he grabbed Shen Mo and dragged him away.
Li Heitan watched the whole scene in a daze.
Brother Shen was that gifted at repairing military equipment?
Wang Xing'an gave the door of the C-grade warehouse a strong push and flung it open.
Shen Mo had already visited this place the day before—it was mostly filled with cloudships.
“If even one of these machines can be repaired, the strength of the Xuanwu Fortress will increase significantly!”
“And the merit earned for repairing them is far greater than what you'd get from fixing Blood Energy Cannons!”
Wang Xing'an spoke earnestly.
Shen Mo nodded slightly.
The Colossal Machinery Classic consisted of three chapters—the first covered both Blood Energy Cannons and cloudships.
To him, repairing these machines was not difficult.
“Cloudships are much harder to repair than Blood Energy Cannons. After all, they each have eight to ten miniaturized formations inscribed within.”
“But don’t rush. Start by repairing the simplest—Thunder Falcon Cloudships.”
Wang Xing'an spoke with heartfelt concern. “Thunder Falcons don’t carry weapons and don’t need defense. They’re the easiest to handle.”
“With your talent, give yourself two or three years to fully master the Thunder Falcon’s structure. Once you’ve got it down, then you can move on to dismantling and repairing the Snow Sculpture Cloudships.”
“Snow Sculptures are much more difficult. I have average talent—it took me over ten years to barely grasp their structure.”
“You don’t need to worry about time. Just take it step by step.”
“As for the Black Hawk Cloudships, those are the most difficult of all. Without thirty to fifty years of experience, it's nearly impossible to handle them proficiently.”
“Don’t try repairing the Black Hawk Cloudships until you’ve fully mastered both the Thunder Falcons and the Snow Sculptures.”
Wang Xing'an spoke with such conviction, it was clear he was passing down his own personal experience without holding anything back.
It was obvious he regarded Shen Mo as a rare talent.
Li Heitan’s abilities were enough to make him feel pleased—
But someone like Shen Mo, who understood formations and the inner structure of military equipment, was exactly the kind of genius the armory needed most.
Looking at the nagging, motherly Wang Xing'an, Shen Mo chuckled and nodded repeatedly. “Commander, rest assured. I’ll take things step by step—first the Thunder Falcon, then the Snow Sculpture, and only later the Black Hawk.”
Wang Xing'an nodded in satisfaction. “Good, good! Focus on repairing here in the C-grade warehouse. I won’t let anyone disturb you.”
Shen Mo nodded, then turned and began examining the structure of a Thunder Falcon Cloudship.
Wang Xing'an smiled broadly as he watched for a few moments, then left.
He shut the warehouse door.
Then, with a wine gourd in hand, he stood guard at the entrance of the C-grade warehouse—taking on the role of its sentry.
It was only then that the Demon Suppression Guards from the armory began to slowly wake up, still groggy as they wandered toward the D-grade and C-grade warehouses.
“Huh? Commander, why’s the C-grade warehouse door closed?” the guards asked in surprise.
Wang Xing'an waved them off. “Go to the D-grade warehouse. The C-grade one’s occupied.”
The Demon Suppression Guards exchanged looks. “Is it that newcomer from yesterday?”
Wang Xing'an nodded with a smile.
One of the guards, a Xuan-rank cultivator, stepped forward with a frown. “Commander Wang, but... if you won’t let us into the C-grade warehouse, what about our merit?”
Even among the mostly idle Demon Suppression Guards, there were still one or two who truly wanted to work.
This one was named Wu Zhanyun. He’d loved tinkering with machines since he was a child and had shown talent for it early on.
After passing the Demon Suppression Guard selection, he didn’t choose to serve under any commander—instead, he came straight to the armory.
His dream was to recreate the long-lost machines.
Wang Xing'an was quite fond of this driven guard.
In the past, Wang Xing'an often personally guided Wu Zhanyun, teaching him hand-in-hand.
Wu Zhanyun was a quick learner—within just over seven years, he had already mastered the repair of Blood Energy Cannons.
Now, he was diligently studying the structure and principles of the Thunder Falcon Cloudship.
From Wang Xing'an’s perspective, his progress was also quite fast.
Although Wu Zhanyun had yet to repair a Thunder Falcon with full proficiency, he was already capable of fixing those with minor damage.
So when Wang Xing'an closed the C-grade warehouse and blocked his access, Wu Zhanyun naturally felt displeased.
Seeing Wu Zhanyun's expression, Wang Xing'an scratched his head.
Wu Zhanyun had decent talent—better than Li Heitan’s—but likely still fell short of Shen Mo.
Even so, after working with Wu Zhanyun for years, he had grown fond of the young man.
His hardworking nature and dedication made him well-liked.
After a moment of thought, Wang Xing'an finally nodded. “Alright, go in—but make sure you don’t clash with the newcomer.”
Wu Zhanyun nodded. “Understood. I’m only going in to study the Thunder Falcon Cloudship. As long as he doesn’t bother me, I won’t bother him.”
Wang Xing'an opened the door and let Wu Zhanyun in.
As for the other Demon Suppression Guards, he sent them to the D-grade warehouse.
“Wu Zhanyun has good potential, but compared to Shen Mo, there’s still a gap.”
“He's always been proud of his talent. Meeting Shen Mo might be a humbling experience. Realizing there's always someone better isn’t a bad thing.”
“If they can study cloudships together, maybe they’ll spark some inspiration and speed up their progress.”
Wang Xing'an chuckled to himself.
Inside the C-grade warehouse—
Shen Mo was currently focused on dismantling a heavily damaged Thunder Falcon Cloudship.
Of course, he had heard the door open and footsteps entering the warehouse.
Then, a voice called out from a distance.
“Newcomer, I’m Wu Zhanyun. What’s your name?”
“Shen Mo.”
Wu Zhanyun nodded. “Alright. Commander Wang told us not to get into any conflicts. As long as you don’t interfere with me, I won’t interfere with you.”
With that, he walked off to the other side of the warehouse without showing any signs of hostility.
Shen Mo gave a small nod.
He’d already heard the voices outside earlier and was mildly concerned this Wu Zhanyun might try to stir up trouble the moment he entered.
Now it seemed the guy was at least reasonable.
That was enough.
Shen Mo resumed dismantling the Thunder Falcon Cloudship.
Unlike the Blood Energy Cannon, the Thunder Falcon was far more complex and had to be disassembled before repairs could begin.
Still, Shen Mo’s dismantling speed was incredibly fast.
In the blink of an eye, a cloudship over ten zhang long was fully disassembled into a spread of various parts.
The deck, mast, ramming prow, cloud sails—each part was neatly categorized and arranged in order on the floor.
Shen Mo quickly identified which parts were damaged.
The deck—nearly half of it was ruined, and its protective formation had nearly failed. It needed replacing and re-engraving.
The ramming prow—slightly worn but still usable after some polishing.
The cloud sails—heavily burned, needed full replacement.
The mast—formation circuits were broken and needed re-engraving.
Repair methods surfaced rapidly in Shen Mo’s mind.
He then retrieved intact parts from nearby severely damaged Thunder Falcons.
Robbing Peter to pay Paul.
Within just half an hour, a fully restored Thunder Falcon Cloudship stood once again.
Not far away, Wu Zhanyun had just finished dismantling one Thunder Falcon and was stretching his back.
Out of habit, he glanced in Shen Mo’s direction—
And froze.
R...repaired?
