An elderly eunuch was silently crouching before Tie Dan, looking down submissively, gazing at the Liang Girl Jade Pendant he held in his hands.

"Escape, escape from that so-called master, leave the pasture of those who cause me pain.

The elder was roaring.

Then the elderly eunuch raised his eyelids, using a pair of empty, cleaned-out sockets to stare at Tie Dan’s eyes.

Tie Dan glared back at him for a while, realizing he couldn’t win against a man with no pupils, he reluctantly pointed towards the palace overhead,

"...Daybreak? Snuffed out your master?"

The elderly eunuch didn’t reply but reached out to grasp the Jade Pendant.

So when Tie Dan opened his eyes again, he found himself alone in the treasure vault, with half of the Jade Pendant taken.
