Secret Buyer-Chapter 86: I’m Going to Kill You
The agreed time was noon, but Zhang Fusheng still went back to the Martial Arts Dojo first.
He headed straight to the fourth floor.
No sign of Niu Dali, while Chen Yuque and Lin Dongxi were eating breakfast around a small wooden table.
Both of them looked over simultaneously, their gazes not quite right, with a touch of elusive coldness.
Zhang Fusheng seemed oblivious, sat down by the wooden table, grabbed a meat bun from Lin Dongxi’s plate, and stuffed it into his stomach in two or three bites.
Previously, Lin Dongxi would have cried ’pervert’ and pounced like a wild animal, yet now he was motionless.
"What did Senior Brother say to you?"
Zhang Fusheng took another piece of fried dough stick in front of Chen Yuque, eating while asking.
He wanted to reach for the soy milk but was held back by a fair hand.
Chen Yuque stared at her little junior brother who had only recently entered:
"He didn’t say much, just showed us some profiles, your profile."
Zhang Fusheng tilted his head:
"Does Senior Sister not trust me?"
"If you were me, would you trust the Senior Brother you’ve known for years or the junior brother who’s been here half a month?"
Chen Yuque spoke coldly:
"Right and wrong will be made clear when Master returns."
Zhang Fusheng smiled:
"That’s what they say, but I’m afraid that before Master returns, Senior Brother will be impatient to act... If a fight breaks out, who will you help, Second Senior Sister?"
Chen Yuque did not answer.
Lin Dongxi suddenly spoke:
"Zhang Fusheng, there are many monsters and perverts in the world, but no matter who, it’s impossible to transform from a normal person to a Six Refinements level in just half a month."
"So that’s what you doubt."
Zhang Fusheng swallowed the fried dough stick and belched, the food quickly decomposing and digesting in his stomach,
He lightly exhaled, turning the impurities into a breath of turbid air.
Chen Yuque said mildly:
"Your father is deeply entangled with the Investigation Bureau, and you clearly achieved entry-level Contemplation Technique in high school."
"You went three years without any progress, so how can you become a Six Refinements martial artist in half a month?"
"Can you explain any of this?"
Her icy voice of skepticism was extremely sharp, carrying force in the sound, tearing a crack in the wooden table, even Little Child covered his ears.
Silence.
Still silence.
A long while, accompanied by a light sigh.
"Low vision means low cognition."
The young man sat upright and properly, legs crossed, hands placed on his knees, back straight.
He spoke softly:
"A frog at the bottom of the well peeks at a corner of the sky and thinks it sees the whole firmament."
The light voice echoed in the still room.
Chen Yuque suddenly raised her brow:
"Arrogant."
She brought her fingers together slowly, her eyes flashing sharp light, clearly intending to teach the ignorant little junior brother a lesson,
A hundred thousand jins of force surged within, her fingers pushing the air to produce visible ripples!
The young man remained upright, unmoving.
The fingers approached, and eventually Chen Yuque withheld most of her force, lightly tapping Zhang Fusheng’s forehead with her fingertip.
She only meant to give a lesson.
The tap missed.
Her fingertip poked Zhang Fusheng’s forehead, yet felt like poking through air, Chen Yuque withdrew her hand in bewilderment:
"An illusion..."
"No."
Zhang Fusheng said calmly:
"Seventh Form, Form and Spirit, Bone Scattering Form."
Both senior sisters suddenly fell silent, lost for words.
They hadn’t even mastered the first Form, Life Light Phase.
Zhang Fusheng extended a finger, bent it, and lightly tapped the wooden table.
’Thud!’
He then stood up:
"Half a month’s camaraderie, yet still camaraderie, I believe Master wouldn’t want to see us killing each other."
"I’ve explained everything that needed explaining, said everything that needed saying."
"Second Senior Sister, Third Senior Sister, you can stay on the sidelines, but if you join in..."
Zhang Fusheng turned to leave, leaving one last sentence.
"I’ll kill you."
’Bang!’
The door to the quiet room closed, footsteps gradually fading away.
In the silence.
"He snatched another meat bun from me," Little Child said softly, "I’m still hungry."
Chen Yuque regained her senses from the daze:
"I still have a youtiao, take it and eat..."
The moment her fair fingers touched the youtiao.
The fragrant youtiao, the silver ware, the small table carved from nanmu wood.
In the blink of an eye, they were intact, and then the next moment, they all suddenly disintegrated into extremely fine dust.
The dust held form for a second, then collapsed with a roar onto the floor, spreading outwards in a circular pattern.
......
Noon.
In front of Jiang University.
"Selling balloons, five yuan each, I can make puppies, piglets, flowers..."
"Little girl, want one?"
"A flower, right?"
Zhu Xiaoming awkwardly blew up a small balloon and stuffed it into the little girl’s hand.
The little girl said blankly:
"Brother, I wanted a flower..."
"This is a flower bud. In a few days, it’ll turn into a flower." Zhu Xiaoming said seriously, shoving the five yuan firmly into his pocket.
"Wow!!" The little girl cried as she ran away.
Bystanders silently stared at the young man.
Zhang Fusheng, who had just arrived, watched this scene, twitching at the corner of his mouth.
"Old Zhang!" Zhu Xiaoming ran over happily, and the death gaze of the bystanders followed him over.
Zhang Fusheng made a decision within a second and took a step back:
"How could you be so shameless? Deceiving little kids?"
He widened his eyes, full of grief and indignation:
"Ashamed to be associated with you!"
The death stares shifted back onto Zhu Xiaoming.
The latter was initially bewildered, then widened his eyes even more, tremblingly extended a finger, pointing at Zhang Fusheng:
"You, you..."
Zhang Fusheng pressed down his hand, speaking earnestly:
"Don’t do such immoral things again, for heaven’s sake, you’re a student of Jiang University..."
He walked into the school gate with a calm face.
Zhu Xiaoming belatedly noticed the gaze of the bystanders and fled, covering his face, into Jiang University.
Catching up with Zhang Fusheng, he was so angry his lips were trembling:
"Old Zhang! You, you, you, I learned it from you, didn’t I??"
"Learning the bad and not the good?" Zhang Fusheng said disdainfully.
Zhu Xiaoming silently covered his heart with one hand and his cheek with the other.
He felt heartache and his teeth hurt.
Zhang Fusheng waved his hand with amusement:
"Young Master Zhu, how did you end up selling balloons and deceiving kids? This is the Third District. Their parents might have sky-high connections, you know?"
Zhu Xiaoming showed a bitter face, complaining:
"My dad cut off my funds."
He twisted his body slightly, lowering his voice:
"I just made a date with Lu Yao to have dinner the day after tomorrow, but then my card got frozen, and I can’t find a penny on me, so I had to think of a way myself... then I thought of your method."
Zhang Fusheng twitched at the corner of his mouth:
"Did you anger Uncle Zhu again?"
"No way!" Zhu Xiaoming’s face was ashen: "I don’t know what nerve my dad’s got crossed. He borrowed from loan sharks outside, and the funding chain suddenly broke..."
He shrugged his shoulders:
"My family is going bankrupt."
Zhang Fusheng raised his eyebrows, then remembered that in the accounts under Hongji’s ’Money Shop’, there indeed was Zhu Dashan, Zhu Xiaoming’s dad’s name.
"No big deal." He waved his hand grandly: "Later I’ll clear Uncle Zhu’s debt, no need to even pay the principal back."
Anyway, Chen Yuque isn’t going to share the profits with me anymore, might as well write it off!
Zhu Xiaoming sighed:
"Why are you joking at a time like this... But actually, it’s not that bad, I’m still optimistic."
"I can tell. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be doing something so despicable as cheating kids."
"Get lost!"
The two of them bantered a few more words, and the tenseness that had been tightly holding Zhang Fusheng’s heartstrings slightly loosened, and the hostility that was about to erupt at any time also quietly subsided.
For the past two days, he had been under extreme pressure almost every moment.
"By the way, what are you doing at Jiang University?" Zhu Xiaoming asked curiously.
"Looking for a teacher named Liao Zhong."
Zhang Fusheng said casually:
"And to see you, to let you know, in the next few days, take your parents to Dragon Boat City to lay low."
"Huh?" A question mark popped up over Zhu Xiaoming’s head: "What the heck?"
Zhang Fusheng didn’t answer further, his gaze fixed on a familiar figure on the tree-lined path.
It was a young man with a shaved head, handsome features, wearing a magical robe stitched from bone fragments.
He also saw Zhang Fusheng.
And then slowly walked over.
