The ’Land of Constant Silent Light’ where the ’Great Silent Present World Buddha’ expounded the teachings and promoted the Dharma, was the dwelling of the highest-ranking buddhas and Divine, accessible only to those who have earned the first-rate fruit position, ’Sotapanna’, thus qualifying to reside in the Constant Silent Light Pure Land.

Unless it is a special day like when the Great Buddha is expounding the teachings and promoting the Dharma, lower buddhas are unable to travel to the higher realms—the hierarchy within the Western Paradise is strict and clear cut, so where is there any semblance of ease and purity like that of the West Heaven Paradise?

According to the White Elephant Demon, although on the surface, various Bodhisattvas and Buddhas are compassionate towards each other, there are factions and disputes behind closed doors.

Even though only White Elephant was guarding the cultivation hall, the hall also had its own protective great formation. As long as the White Elephant sat steadily within the formation, it would possess heaven-defying magical power to repel all invading enemies and steadfastly hold the fort until the Bodhisattva’s return.

[So, it decided for you, shortening the three days of refinement to half a day. Bite down and bear it, and it will soon pass.]

[This is a necessary process. If you sincerely wish to submit, then enter the hall and shed your divine protection powers, so as not to make things difficult for it.]

[With that, the ’White Elephant Demon’ threw open the doors of the Treasure Hall, tossed you in, and then shut the doors tightly, its voice coming from outside...]

[Your Dharma Body has been destroyed, and sustaining yourself with just your soul might bring not insignificant pain. If you can’t bear it, call out for it...]

[Once the door to the Treasure Hall was closed, this place seemed to be completely isolated from the outside world, becoming a realm of its own.]

[Even the powerful voice of the White Elephant Demon, laden with great magical power and coming through the door, sounded distant and indistinct.]

[The Demon-Subduing Pestle and the Vajra Pestle are both types of Buddhist Instruments. An ordinary Vajra Pestle is small, only about the length of eight fingers, and the larger ones are roughly twenty fingers long, about the length of a forearm, with the ends shaped like lanterns or bells and a handle in the middle.]

[The Vajra Pestle symbolizes great wisdom and strength, indestructible and omnipotent, representing sturdiness and eternity.]

[However, the Demon-Subduing Pestle has one end shaped like a lantern or bell and the other end is a sharp triangular point, signifying the subjugation of demonic obstacles, the elimination of evil, and the breaking of all karmic obstructions and Evil.]
