Chapter 336: Chapter 273: Dream 2

They both turned quickly, recognizing the individual. It was the lady who always questioned everything, having a voice filled with malice and pain.

Leila looked at her, unflinchingly, "If I had to guess, you’re the White Ger- No, the former white Germaris." She crossed her arms, an impatient look on her face, "Why are we here? I don’t have time to waste in this place right now."

"Insolence," the lady hissed through gritted teeth before releasing a huge pressure, causing Aurianna and Leila’s body to collapse onto the ground, a crater forming beneath the two.

’Her presence is suffocating,’ Aurianna thought as she struggled to lift her head, hoping to get a good look at the lady who’s former normal height began to rise until she towered far, far, over them.

She was at least 50 feet tall now.

"I don’t accept you to be my heir!! If not for that disgusting woman I wouldn’t have died so tragically!!" The lady yelled as her image was revealed.

She would’ve been seen as beautiful if it weren’t for her mesmerizing eyes which were leaking blood from anger. She had long curly white hair as well as white eyelashes that were glaring at the two sisters with pure hatred showing from the depths of her eyes.

"What’s more, she stole my gem and gave it to you!!" She yelled, stomping her foot down with great force.

Everything shook, and once she lifted her foot, a crater was left in its place.

"Now I can never have it returned!" Her tone, which had been full of rage wavered, a slight hint of sorrow in it.

At this point, the pressure which had been holding them down lifted. Leila slowly rose, brushing off the dust on her clothes, "Why can’t you just steal back your gem then?" Leila asked mockingly.

"Leila!?"

Aurianna turned to her with a nervous look. She was surprised she had enough courage to talk like that to someone that powerful. If not for Iris they would have already been killed by this woman.

For the first time since the woman’s appearance there was silence.

Leila continued, a smirk on her face now, "It’s because you can’t, right? We have already been recognized by the white Gemaris gem. By you of course."

White Gemaris lowered her head, facing the ground now as she clenched her fist. "You’re right my time is already up."

Leila stepped forward, releasing a chuckle before speaking, "Ha you old bat. After all that display of power you can’t even do anything!" 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Leila was sure that in this realm the White Gemaris couldn’t harm them, seeing how she lost her power to leave. That was the reason for her newfound confidence, that same confidence which allowed her to mock a being on a level far above her own.

That proved to be a mistake however, as the White Gemaris screamed, "You brat!" And with a swipe of her hand, slapped Leila’s body, sending her flying across the space at blinding speed.

Multiple stone pillars appeared, just to cause her the most discomfort as she crashed through pillar after pillar.

Aurianna instantly reacted, almost subconsciously as 100 shotguns appeared around her.

Without giving it a thought she muttered, "Fire." And bullets went flying at the White Gemaris.

White Gemaris flashed a cold smirk and right before the bullets reached her she vanished, appearing right behind Aurianna but Aurianna immediately dodged them.

At this point, despite Leila coughing up blood she stood back up on her feet and she watched as The White Gemaris reached for Aurianna.

Leila dashed forward and less than a second she was behind the White Gemaris, lifting a sword that was clouded in a white aura to slash with all her might.

Despite her expectation to at least scratch her, the sword immediately shattered and before she could react she was grabbed by the White Gemaris.

Just as she squeezed Leila’s neck to kill her, Leila’s head immediately turned into that of a dragon’s and she took a huge bite on the White Gemaris’ hand.

In a fit of rage the White Gemaris tossed Leila across the space but she was able to find balance as she landed. Leila flashed a cheeky smile.

"Ugh, how annoying," the White Gemaris sighed, looking down at the hand Leila bit.

She raised her head, flashing them a glare, "I may not know if I can take back my gem, but what if I possessed your bodies instead!" She paused before speaking once more, flashing a sinister grin that revealed rows of sharp teeth, "You’re both nothing but some insignificant brats so just give up your life to me."

Her figure immediately shrunk and the once dark and empty space filled with rubble, turning into a land that resembled that of a chess board.

The White Gemaris then raised her hand as a bright white light gathered on her hand, forming into a long white scythe.

’She has to have a different level of power for her soul’s presence alone to make it hard for me to breathe,’ Leila thought as she forced herself to get up and walk towards Aurianna.

"Aurianna, get up right now! This is not the time to sit and watch in fear. Her pressure may be horrifying but that’s what is going to make the battle fun."

Aurianna who was kneeling, looking at the White Gemaris with fear, turned to Leila hearing her words.

"Are you freaking kidding me, how are we supposed to beat her!!?" Aurianna asked, confusion written on her face and tone. Aurianna continued, sweat on her brow, "She is the first White Gemaris. What’s more, I can clearly feel the power difference, even without her using any spells or full force attacks."

"So are you just going to kneel and watch as she tries to kill us?" Leila gave Aurianna an angry glare.

Aurianna’s former scared face changed to being calm as she looked back at the White Gemaris, who was wearing an unimpressed look on her face.

Aurianna clenched her fist and with a nervous smile she responded, "You’re right... No way. We’ll beat her. I’m tired of fearing for my life as she’s in our soul!!"
