Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 318 - 255: Exploring the church
Deille turned away from Aurianna, looking up at the ceiling of the hall which shone with gold. Cool air slipped through the open window, washing over him. Between the beautiful hall and the air he felt calmed as he tried recalling something he hadn’t thought about in years.
A memory flashed in his mind seeing a sickly boy with dark green eyes and black hair. His handsome looks deteriorated due to his sickly and skinny body. The boy coughed up some blood as his eyes looked almost hollow. A trace of life could barely be found in them.
"Don’t worry brother, I’ll become a priest and definitely heal you!" A younger looking Deille claimed with a serious face, holding Girsal’s hand tightly.
"Just shut up and leave you brat! I don’t need your pity!" Girsal yelled, smacking Deille’s hand from his.
The memory faded as soon as it appeared.
Deille turned to Aurianna, who was looking at him expectantly. He responded calmly, "He used to be an old acquaintance."
Noticing how Deille was strangely calm she sighed, "As much as I dislike the whole secretive thing you got going on, I’ll leave it for now. I won’t pry into your past, there are more important matters I was just curious about it. As long as you stay loyal to me you can keep your bunch of secrets."
Deille gave a respectful nod.
"So Jade, Avriel, Jugi, Hadina and Deille, I would explain the various places in the church and umm, yeah like you’ll take care of sorting everyone," Aurianna said, smiling at them all as they stared at her and Zagan sat on her shoulder.
At times Aurianna seemed much older and wiser to Deille, but those kinds of thoughts only lasted until he had to look at her. She was shorter than him by quite a bit.
"Are you trying to dump all the work on us?" Jade asked, a suspicious expression on his face. Her intentions were completely transparent.
Aurianna swiped her hand nonchalantly. "Come on Jade, you know more about leading people and Deille knows a lot about handling a church than I do. Don’t worry we’ll explore the church together and you’ll see what you can do."
They both gazed at her through squinted eyes. It wasn’t a look of complete anger at her shirking of responsibilities but it bothered both of them nonetheless.
Deille continued looking at her in silence as she turned away from him, whistling to herself.
He sighed, "Hmm, I guess I could do that. I am interested in the interior of this church, I would let this shady act of yours slide."
Aurianna turned back around to face him, beaming from ear to ear about his compliance. She clapped her hands together, "Let’s start with the tour then. Since the church is huge, members can teleport to any part of the church they would like to be at. So let’s go."
In an instant before they could all blink, they vanished from the large hall. They were transported into a long hallway.
Unlike the grand design-work the main hall had, the hallway was more simple. There were detailed striped patterns lining the walls but they were more bland looking. Being simple gold streaks to contrast the stone gravel.
They started walking steadily along the halls, and Aurianna began to show them all every part of the church. Suddenly, in the main hall a screen appeared before them all. Yui gazed at it with wide eyes and Catherine calmly stared at it.
"Princess?" Yui questioned.
On the screen she and all the others inside the hall saw Aurianna. The perspective was in front of her, showing Jade and other others beside her in the shot. No one knew how Aurianna was being shown to them but nonetheless they could see her.

"Everyone here’s the council room!" Aurianna introduced happily as she opened a huge door to reveal a wide space, having a huge round crystal table and beautiful crystal chairs in it. They shone brightly from the light that poured through the windows. It was clear that everything in there was new and expensive, or at the very least hard to create.
"This is the VIP room, for people like me of course," Aurianna stated as she opened a door, revealing a huge room with a beautiful glass window that showed the scenery. A beautiful landscape with many trees, animals and critters running outside. Birds soaring by as free as could be.
In the room there were 4 green floating chairs that had fairy-like wings strapped to the back of it. In the middle of the room was a glass table and above, floating in the air was a crystal. It was shining, acting as a lightsource. In case an individual went inside during night time when it was dark.
Deille, who had been slightly unnerved his first time teleporting throughout the church, was now calm. Not being fazed even a little bit.
"Wow, how did you afford all of this? It’s totes beautiful!" Avriel gasped.
"I agree, I’ve never seen a building this grand before," Jugi agreed with a nod.
"I had to sacrifice a lot," Aurianna stated with dramatic teary eyes as Eva rolled her eyes at Aurianna. And Aurianna’s words still left them confused on how she acquired the building.
"Don’t worry master because your hard work has paid off!" Hadina declared holding Aurianna’s hands.
"Oh Hadina," Aurianna beamed, stating at Hadina.
’Ahh master is staring at me!’ Hadina thought blushing but someone suddenly kicked her away and stood before Aurianna.
"Let’s continue with the tour, mating time is not what I agreed to," Jade said calmly ignoring Hadina who was glaring at him.
"Alright!" Aurianna agreed.
"Next is the information networking room," Aurianna and the rest then disappeared from the current room and reappeared before a bright red colored door.
After opening the door, they entered a hallway with many empty desks that were arranged in an orderly manner, with screens in front of them.
"The explanation for this room is very obvious. You can check things like the information of all our members, and information of other countries here as well as other stuff which I will describe in greater detail later."
"Over here is the Arena!" Aurianna said as she and the others appeared at the summit, a round shaped arena could be seen, and so could the beautiful yellow skies. Many seats were spread throughout the arena and in the middle was a wide space where a faint white light could be seen. Aurianna didn’t say anything else, as the information gathering room was very direct in name and presentation.
"Next is the library," Aurianna said as they appeared at the next building and opened the door to reveal a huge room in contrast to its appearance outside. Many empty shelves were filled with only a few books and the shelves floated around, up, down, and sideways. And floating around it were beautiful white crystal balls that gave the room some light.
"Here’s the yard," Aurianna declared as they appeared at a large ground with many different and strange-looking flowers arranged in an orderly fashion, glowed under the sky as shining balls of light floated around them.
