Without Mona and Miki, Arthur and the others left the place for the town’s south gate. Sara asked Arthur several times about Mona’s safety there, Arthur confirmed he had a plan for that.

For the time being, Arthur would focus on Karen and Sara first. They would get their Ascension Talent and advance to the next stage. That would increase their power quite significantly.

Arriving outside the south gate of the town, Arthur again saw the queue of people to enter the town. Due to the incident with the intruder yesterday, the inspection of each individual was tough and detailed.

Sara showed a panicked look on her face. She wondered if she would be able to pass the gatekeeper’s inspection. From what Sara saw, the gatekeepers checked the party and identity of every visitor to the town.

The thing Sara was afraid of was that her party still displayed the party of Sky Sword, and so did Karen. If both of them showed it to them, it was feared that the gatekeepers would easily identify it.

It was Arthur’s and the others’ turn to do the inspection. When the gatekeeper wanted to check Arthur’s identity, he raised his hand and refused. He said he was Salsabilla’s confidant.

"Captain Salsabilla’s confidant? Don’t be kidding! Many people behave like that, but he has no relationship with our Captain when proven."

"If you don’t believe me, then bring her here. She will explain it in detail to you," Arthur said.

"Show us your identity, or we will arrest you!" threatened the gatekeeper, not listening to Arthur.

While the two argued about this, someone flew up on a beast servant in the shape of a flame eagle. Arthur looked up and smiled.

The woman sitting sideways on the eagle’s back was Salsabilla, Captain of the 15th Night Liberators.

Sara and Karen were on alert, standing behind Arthur. Arthur raised his head to the sky, locking eyes with Salsabila for a brief moment.

The woman dismounted from her beast servant and stepped forward, approaching Arthur and welcoming his two friends. She thought Arthur had brought more people to this place.

"Are you having trouble with the inspection?" asked Salsabilla, Arthur cleared his throat in response.

Salsabilla raised her right hand and snapped her fingers, making her flame eagle beast servant disappear from her form.

The woman smiled, took Arthur’s hand suddenly and led him through the checkpoint.

"These three are my best friends; you don’t need to check on them," Salsabilla replied, obeyed by the gatekeepers who were members of her own group.

They walked with Salsabilla leading the way, still holding Arthur’s wrist. Arthur felt uncomfortable with it, especially with the crowd’s gaze on him —the impact of his closeness to Salsabilla.

Gently, Arthur released Salsabilla’s grip on his hand. It surprised the woman enough that she wondered why. Arthur just didn’t want to attract the attention of many people.

"Alright. Maybe you’re uncomfortable with it."

The woman took Arthur and his two friends to a second-story house located in a corner of the town, away from the crowds.

Salsabila had built the house solely for her to take a break from her busy life, especially since the surrounding area was decorated with plants and flowers to please the eye.

"You can rest here until the raid opens. As for the security itself, my men will do it," Salsabilla replied, showing him the house.

Arthur said yes, Karen seemed enthusiastic with a widened look on her face. She was thrilled to move into a nice, beautiful house with a large yard full of flowers and shady trees. It was much better than the guest house at Sky Sword’s 15th base.

Sara agreed with Karen but was still confused about Salsabila being nice to Arthur, even though the two were enemies with different identities. Sara wondered if something had happened between them.

The door to the house opened, Karen couldn’t hide her happiness at seeing the furniture in the house that seemed luxurious and pleasant.

The floor was tiled and neatly painted in white and cream, making the house feel spacious and aesthetic.

Sara stepped inside, following Karen, while Arthur was still outside close to Salsabila. He glanced back and saw several members of the Night Liberators hiding in the houses around the hill.

"With this, you won’t betray our agreement, right?"

Arthur shook his head. Arthur had the advantage between the two because he could make peace with the Night Liberators and get a much better home than before.

The man said the two-story house before him was more than enough. He also promised not to interfere in the affairs of the two groups, nor would he obey Tris.

"That’s a big relief."

"Your orders, Master?" asked Jack the Ripper.

"Go to Sky Sword 15th Base and pick up Mona and Miki. Bring them here," said Arthur, a clear and understandable order to the two S-R soul servants.

Having understood their task, the two flew away from the place in a white light that swiftly crossed the town’s sky.

Their flight was accompanied by the boom of strong energy fluctuations, making Salsabila’s attention focused on them.

"Since when did you—"

"It’s a long story, and I don’t intend to tell you about it," Arthur said, interrupting Salsabila.

Salsabila felt that Arthur was still trying to shut himself off her, not showing friendly gestures like a friend.

Salsabila knew, after all, these two were not friends or an alliance, more like two people with a specific agreement.

"Alright. I trust your word, Arthur."

The woman said goodbye after she had nothing more to say. Salsabila said that if Arthur needed anything, he could tell her members who lived in the house down the hill. Arthur said yes.

Salsabila left with Sara and Karen returned to the front yard. Karen was fond of the house and wanted to stay here instead of the Sky Sword 15th guest house.

"My two servants are picking up Mona and Miki here. Once they arrive, we can go to the town cathedral."

"Of course, Arthur. We’ll follow your plan," Karen explained.

Sara approached Arthur to ask him why he was close to Salsabilla. Arthur smiled. He said he couldn’t explain everything when so many Night Liberators watched them.

"Tonight, I will explain it all to you."

Not long after, Jack and Rasputin emerged in the town sky in their camouflage mode. Jack had Mona in his arms, as did Rasputin with Miki.

The two landed before Arthur after completing their task, Miki did not expect Arthur to have two soul servants.

"Where are we?" Mona asked.

"We’ll stay here until the raid re-opens," explained Sara.

"And what about Tris?" asked Mona, curious.

Arthur stepped forward and patted Mona gently on the shoulder with a smile, "To hell with Tris."
