Ruin Wielder-Chapter 22: Super Sonic Speed.
"What!!!"
Ximen exclaimed, he was now seated in a wooden chair that was decorated with red velvet fabric.
"Yes, True Disciple Ximen, She’s very valuable, it’s like we’ve landed ourselves a treasure." 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
Chen Tao said he was seated just opposite of Wang Ximen. Although usually his face does have a carefree attitude, not this time, he was thinking about how to make the most of it.
"That hag is such a treasure? It’s hard to believe, Luo Yan is more like a treasure, in my guess."
Ximen said he was not sure what this old man has for that old hag, but it was not good.
"You are not understanding. Well, whatever."
Chen Tao flicked his robe and went outside, he was not going to explain what a treasure is to this boy who’s still wet behind his ears.
Demon Sect, a Goliath just a step away from Immortal Court in terms of strength, an unorthodox practicing sect that can exist even in the Central Region, this brat always thinks with his lower half.
Chen Tao thought and walked inside the room designated for him, he was planning how to utilize this opportunity he had just landed.
Chen Tao sat in his meditation form to cultivate and started to think about how to utilize this opportunity.
That woman is old, too old for cultivation, but I can’t say that to her, she can be only a sacrifice for me right now. Demon Sect will kill her to get her physique for sure, selling her to them will make me richer than Sword Mountain Sect, hehe.

Next Day.
Liyun woke up as usual and started his daily training, first running around till he was tired and then flying around till his Qi ran low.
*Boom*
As he was flying, he suddenly got more used to it, and the air made a huge sound when he moved at his full speed.
"Hey!! Did I just break the sound barrier? Nice, nice."
Liyun praised himself like an old cultivation uncle, then sat in his wooden chair. Li Mei came with a dining cart.
"Your Highness, what was that sound just now?"
Li Mei asked casually, she was not waiting for him to reply. She, like a good maid, started to place the food on the small wooden table in front of Liyun.
"That boom? Hehe, that’s my flying sound. I can now fly at super-super speed."
Liyun said while grabbing the chicken leg first, Today he felt like he achieved something in cultivation, so he ate a bit more than usual.
"Your flying ability is actually very fascinating, one can’t help but admire it."
Li Mei said, then took a napkin to wipe Liyun’s face. He was so cute that she wanted to eat him like a small pill, but he’s also her prince.
"Li Mei, what are we going to do to have fun? How about we play hide-and-seek again with all the maids like last time?"
Liyun asked.
"Your Highness, You’re so forgetful. Today is Luo Yan’s wedding, you remember? You’re invited as a Guest of Honor."
Li Mei reported while cleaning the table with a smile.
"Ah! Yes, well then, go buy yourself and the maids that will accompany me something very nice, you’ve got to look good."
Liyun said, then pulled out his red pouch from his waist to give it to her.
A red pouch means a thousand gold coins, with only ten maids and a thousand gold, Li Mei was sure the royal tailor would make them gold clothes.
"Thank you so much, Your Highness."
Li Mei took the gold, Liyun doesn’t lack gold, so she doesn’t feel guilty taking it.
Li Mei left after taking the pouch and the cart with her, then another maid came and stood on the side. If Liyun needs anything, she will provide it, otherwise, she won’t or is not allowed to bother him no matter what.
Liyun, after eating, started to sit comfortably in the chair with his legs crossed. He was going to meditate and try to do cultivation actively, although his physique was so unique that he didn’t need to cultivate actively, but still he wanted to do it to reap more benefits.
The system is a bit nice, it activates when I want, not whenever I pee.
Liyun sat cross-legged while thinking, trying to circulate his qi, then remembered—he still didn’t even have a cultivation technique to work with.
"Eh! I’ve got two Immortal rewards from the system. First is this Immortal Pink Blood—it lets me fly at supersonic speed for now and makes me look better than anyone else, like my ancestor, but I am a bit better because of Immortal Level."
"And the second is the Immortal Scholar Physique. Right now, it’s letting me cultivate both spirit and body together, but I can already feel it slowing at Golden Core. Maybe it will carry me into Nascent Soul, but not past that. Its real passive ability is keeping my physical body in line with my spiritual realm. On top of that, it gives me photographic memory."
"There are more hidden benefits of these two, like reading unknown languages and my sweat being sweet and perfume-like. Well, if my background was a bit scarier, I could have called myself the Final Boss, but sigh! It’s alright as well."
Liyun smiled thinking about it, the maid who was observing him blushed when she saw him smile. He was just that cute.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Liyun finished his lunch and stood up. Li Mei stepped close with a smile, carefully dressing him in the Golden Core Robe the Emperor had bestowed on him just yesterday. The fabric shimmered faintly, threads of gold qi woven into its patterns.
"How do I look?"
Liyun asked, hovering a few feet above the floor. Ever since his breakthrough in flight techniques, he almost never touched the ground, preferring to float so he could meet others eye to eye. He twirled once in the air, the robe trailing like drifting clouds, showing himself off.
"You look like an Immortal Prince of Dreams, Your Highness."
Li Mei complimented him with a smile. She wore a flowing gown of white silk edged with pale pink, the exact colors of the Tang family banner. The embroidery along the hem shimmered like spring blossoms, while the wide sleeves drifted like clouds whenever she moved.
In a banquet like this, everyone chose colors to mark their clan, but Li Mei’s choice was different. She wore the Tang family’s royal colors, openly and without hesitation. Later, people would say no one else at that gathering would have dared to do the same. Her clothes did not just show beauty—they declared where she belonged.
"Hehe, call Ergou and the maids that will accompany me. What should we give as a gift? Umm... this."
Liyun laughed as he flew into his massive bedroom and came back holding a sword that gleamed brilliantly. ’Titanium Level’ sword—he got this sword when he peed on a Gold Level sword a few months ago.
"My Prince, that’s a powerful sword."
Ergou stepped into the courtyard, golden and white armor shining, his posture firm like he was about to march into battle.
"Hehe, you don’t know where I got it from. I will give you one when we return from this banquet."
Liyun smirked, his eyes drifting down to Ergou’s waist, where a Gold Level sword hung in its sheath.
