Chapter 419: Guess Who’s Back

Ackster immediately recognized that voice. It was the Observer.

"I didn’t imagine that, right?"

Ackster kept his eyes on the sky as he asked Mio, who had transformed into a slime again.

*Nope. That delicious fucker is back.*

Ackster nodded.

He couldn’t even say that he was surprised. After all, he had just torn apart and spread the Observer out in the universe. Sooner or later, he would have either recovered or united all of his pieces. It was only a matter of time before he returned to Millmeria to exact vengeance on the unfilial son who humiliated, embarrassed, and almost killed him.

Ackster rose to the sky with Mio on his shoulder. She wasn’t going to leave him alone.

However, the Observer wasn’t foolish enough to come alone. He had failed the first time, and he knew better than anyone that if Ackster survived, he would be even stronger than before.

So, Ackster wasn’t surprised when he saw a being like a tiny blue star on the Observer’s side. There was also something similar to the shape of a deer that looked like they had been cut out of the fabric of reality. It looked like a deer-shaped black hole.

<There you—>

<You still haven’t learned your lesson? Disgusting shit. Don’t talk. I don’t want my ears to get infected with whatever disease you have.>

<Pzzhahah! Observer, you didn’t tell us your kid was this—>

<That goes for you two as well. It’s blatantly obvious what you’re here for. Let’s go.>

Ackster pushed them out of Millmeria and into the space beyond the barrier. The Observer hadn’t returned for peace talks. And a fight would ravage Millmeria, which was finally about to give birth to a civilization that could enter the universe.

The Observer glared at Ackster while the blue star chuckled and acquiesced. The dark hole was silent. Ackster couldn’t get a read on it.

The Observer was here out of anger. The mini star was here out of greed. But Ackster had no idea why the dark hole had come.

Ackster couldn’t only not figure out its intentions. He also couldn’t get a hum about its strength. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

But Ackster wasn’t worried. He was too strong to be worried. Any worries he had would noticeably impact his strength and the flow of fate.

Besides, there was no comparison between his current strength and the strength he had when he fought the Observer last time. He wasn’t going to let the fucker go this time.

As soon as they were a safe distance away from Millmeria among the stars, Ackster blinked. The three cosmic gods felt something as soon as Ackster’s eyes began closing. But they couldn’t react in time.

As Ackster’s eyes opened again, time seemed to slow as an infinite expanse of water spread out all around them. One side of the ocean that appeared out of nowhere had a beach with a straw hut and a forest line. But other than that one side, it seemed like the bottomless ocean spanned for an eternity.

There was even a sun up in the sky, which Ackster could tell was thanks to the power he got from Yillister.

Ackster’s Perfect World was bigger, better, and stronger than the last time he used it. But it was only a part of his strength. And Ackster used it to contain everything the three cosmic gods might throw at him. But he couldn’t use it on Millmeria since his Perfect World was stronger than the world he ruled.

<What the fuck is this?!>

The miniature star fizzled and sizzled as it looked around in shock. The Observer was wary as he also scanned their surroundings. He recognized this trick. It was the Perfect World Ackster had mentioned last time.

But last time, the Perfect World’s borders were less than a stone’s throw away. Now, they were so far away that the Observer couldn’t even sense them. The senses he was so proud of were for naught.

Ackster didn’t need to, but he still made use of the Observer’s shock to flash forward and grab the latter’s head. He also didn’t need Anatol’s assistance to breach the Observer’s defenses that made him untouchable.

Before any of the three cosmic gods could react, Ackster crushed the Observer’s head and began tearing him apart, stuffing himself with the pieces. A grin adorned his overworldly handsome face, twisting it into the grimace of a fiend.

Ackster spent a time that was neither long nor short dealing with the three cosmic gods.

His party was anxious. Everyone on Millmeria had heard the Observer’s voice.

Ackster’s party members had sensed him fly up to take care of it. But there wasn’t a single trace of the fight. They couldn’t help but worry that rather than Ackster dealing with it, he was the one who had been dealt with.

However, Ackster’s party members weren’t just worried and anxious. They were also regretful.

Trouble had come looking for Ackster, and once again, he had been the only one capable of dealing with it. Unlike with The Hero or the Voice, they couldn’t even lend their aid. Despite all their efforts, they were reduced to the sidelines while Ackster fought to save them all from complete annihilation.

After some time, during which everyone, including the world itself, had waited with bated breath, Ackster and Mio returned. They were both safe and sound. It also seemed like they were at least slightly satisfied.

Ackster’s safe return eased his party members’ anxiety and regret, even if only slightly. But the worry that remained strengthened their forged determination to become more than people who knew of Ackster’s greatness. They wanted to share his burden, not be just strong enough to see how great it was.

As he hovered in the air on his way down, Ackster received the sentiments of his close allies. His heart was warm.

Ackster didn’t waste any time. It was time to celebrate. He had gotten rid of the Observer for good. The deer-shaped dark hole’s death had given him an ability that would be useful in hiding Millmeria from prying eyes until the world’s inhabitants were ready to venture into the world. And the mini star’s death had boosted Ackster’s strength until he was confident he could deal with any trouble those inhabitants found and brought back to Millmeria.
