Rising up from a Nobleman to Intergalactic Warlord!!-Chapter 200
---Victor POV---
Transferring Solemnace under my control, the first thing I did was purge Trazyn’s collection of all Tyranids. Having installed a fail-safe inside their bodies after a prior exhibit breach, all it took was a press of a button to neutralize them. Dumping their corpses into the miniature dwarf star at the planet’s core, we all let out a sigh of relief when the last bug burned away. With the planet now clear of immediate danger, I relocated Solemnace to the edge of the Sol System, causing quite the stir with the locals.
“Primarch Stark, please give us a heads-up before you move a formerly hostile planet so close to Holy Terra. You nearly gave the Lord Commander Solar a heart attack when we detected the planet’s arrival. He assumed the worst and believed that those mechanized corpses had brought the fight to us.”, Violeta Roskavler said, contacting me over the radio.

“My apologies, it was imperative that we quickly move the planet before the Nihilakh Dynasty sent reinforcements to recapture it.”, I chuckled, knowing this would happen. “The Emperor of Mankind wanted it relocated here so the Adeptus Mechanicus could study it in relative safety. Could you please inform the Fabricator-General that his presence is requested here? He is to bring his best and brightest men immediately to review everything we recovered.”
“If that is what the Emperor wanted, you have nothing to apologize for.”, Roskavler replied. “I will inform Oud Oudia Raskian to set out for the former Tomb World posthaste.”
Disconnecting from the call, I set about releasing the remaining prisoners from their stasis fields. Freeing people in batches, as most were captured mid-battle, Guilliman and Yvraine took responsibility for explaining things to the confused and dazed victims. While most heeded their words, a few more erratic individuals had to be forcibly restrained until they settled down. Completing the tedious process after eight hours, leaders from both sides exchanged handshakes, satisfied with the results of the temporary partnership.
“Would you be open to sitting down to talk in a few weeks? I would like to discuss the prospects of a long-term alliance between our people.”, Guilliman questioned, looking at Yvraine. “Given the extensive history of your people we have seen today, there is a lot humanity could stand to learn from you. We are likely to repeat many of the same mistakes your people made in the past. Your wisdom could help save us from those pitfalls and save countless lives.”
“Of course, the Aeldari people need a strong ally that we can trust to fight the Ruinous Powers and help us rebuild. While we will never reach our former heights, forming a small nation at the edge of the galaxy would be a welcome change of pace. Many of our people have secretly longed to return to terrestrial living once again. Now that our deities have returned and our mortal foe’s eyes have been blackened, I believe we are ready to set down roots once again.”, Yvraine said, giving him a friendly smile. “Victor, if you could, please open a portal to Biel-Tan. We will ensure that everyone is sent to their proper place from there.”
Providing them with a bit more assistance, I hoisted Stormbreaker into the air and opened a Bifrost to the craftworld.
---Biel-Tan---
Transporting the Aeldari and their relics all at once, Eldanial had to pinch himself to make sure he was not dreaming. Thanking me for saving them the trouble of moving everything by hand, he offered me a sincere handshake with a smile. Asking him to wait a moment longer, I had one last gift to bestow upon the Aeldari today.
“Another gift? Not to be rude, but what more could you do that you have not already done?”, Eldanial questioned with a confused look.
“If the Aeldari people are to build themselves a new home, they need a proper base of operations to do so from. Biel-Tan is the de facto military and political leader of the Aeldari people; it is time that it looked the part once again.”, I spoke, drinking deeply from the Odin-Force.
“Wait… You are not about to do what I think you- “, Eldanial began to say, before the craftworld began to violently tremble.
Bending the immense power to my will, I pulled the jigsaw ship back together and commanded the wraithbone hull to mend itself. Feeling the ship’s core and hull slowly becoming whole once again, collapsed sections of the ship began to rise and snap back into place. Watching lights from formerly darkened parts of the ship flicker to life, the local Aeldari looked on in utter disbelief. Once I was satisfied that everything was as it should be, I called upon the souls of those who perished during the Battle of Biel-Tan.
“You were taken from the universe well before your time. Return to the land of the living and be a part of it once more.”, I said, resurrecting them with a wave of Stormbreaker.
Materializing the corporeal world in droves, thousands of men, women, and children slowly opened their drowsy eyes. Confused by what was going on, their memories quickly came flooding back to them, causing them to frantically check their bodies for injuries. Noticing the pain they had been experiencing in their final moments was no more, they looked up at me and then at the astonished Eldanial and Yvraine. Warily stepping forward, Eldanial poked one of them in the forehead to make sure they were real.
“Goddess Isha preserve us… They are truly alive!!”, Eldanial shouted, his voice echoing across the ship. "How can this be?! Lord Stark, since when have you been able to resurrect the dead!?”
“I can not take all the credit; my Aesir weapon Stormbreaker is the one who bestowed this power upon me. All I did was carefully use the immense power to make this happen.”, I said, clutching Stormbreaker tightly. “Unfortunately, this is all I am capable of doing with my current level of mastery.”
“No, this is far more than I could have ever dreamed of. Not only have you made Biel-Tan whole, but the people also lost during the grueling battle are back among us again.”, Eldanial said as locals began flocking to us to see what was happening. “Lord Stark, please tell me how we can repay you for this wonderful gift? If it is within my power, I will make it so.”
“Could you and the council find it in your hearts to pardon Amallyn?”, I requested. “She will never admit it aloud to me, but I know her heart is still deeply wounded from her banishment. I plan on proposing to her in the near future, and I would like to do so with her parents present. Nothing would make me happier than to see a genuine smile on her face.”
Approving my request without hesitation, Eldanial swore to make it official by the end of today. Aggressively shaking my hand, the Aeldari man hugged me tightly as tears began streaming down his face. Unfazed by their very confused stares his kinsmen were giving him, he eventually let go after a few minutes of silent crying. Wiping his tears away as he stepped back, Yvraine put a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
“Thank you for easing their hearts, Victor.”, Yncarne stated, bowing his head respectfully. “I look forward to having you as a member of the family. Isha and Lileath certainly picked an excellent man with a kind heart.”
“Jeez… You guys are really pushing the three of us to get together. I agreed to see where things go, yet that has been construed to mean we are getting married.”, I chuckled with a shrug. “You will not hear me complain about it too much, though. Both are adorable airheads, which is quite endearing in my book.”
“Let me be clear, you have my expressed blessing to take Isha and Lileath as your brides. I want nothing to do with Isha, and I wish my daughter all the happiness in the universe. So long as you do right by her, that is all I care about.”, Kurnous spoke, wandering over to give his two cents. “Take care of everyone for me, please. When the final battle with that whore is at hand, I will join you on the field of battle.”
Exchanging a firm handshake with the two deities, I placed a blessing upon Biel-Tan to ward off anyone that sought to harm the locals or the ship. Bidding everyone farewell for now, Stormbreaker opened a Bifrost bridge for me back to Solemnace.
---Solemnace---
Returning just as Raskian and several Mechanicus vessels arrived in orbit, I walked over to where my group was patiently awaiting me. Suggesting we head home to prepare for the victory party, Loki stormed toward me wearing a very irritated look. Demanding an apology immediately, she asserted that making her wait so long to speak with me was unacceptable. Slowly raising my hand with a big grin on my face, the Aesir goddess took a healthy step back and quickly changed her tone.
“Ahem… What I meant to say was, the three of us were able to update Asgard on everything we have learned. While upset that we cannot return home immediately, they are relieved to know the three of us are alive and unharmed.”, Loki said, clearing her throat. “The All-Father has named you Beta-Ray Bill’s successor and the formal owner of Stormbreaker. From this day forth, you are Warrior of Asgard, just like the two meatheads in my company.”
“It is better than being a Bitch of Asgard.”, Cegorach snickered, mimicking Balder’s voice.
Looking over her shoulder at her brother, Balder immediately attempted to deny saying that, but a swift elbow to his nose shut him up. Crumpling to the floor in pain, he glared at Cegorach, who was rolling on the floor laughing hysterically.
“I am getting real tired of your shit, you damn bastard.”, Balder growled, holding his swollen nose. “Pull another stunt like this and watch how quickly I plant a boot up your ass.”
“Do not threaten me with a good time.”, Cegorach said, faking a serious tone.
“That is it, come here, you fucking jester!”, Balder roared, jumping to his feet.
Bolting just as Balder was upon him, Cegorach continued to taunt Balder to entertain himself. Shaking my head, I ignored their antics and focused on the conversation they had with Odin.
“What of The Doctor? Did Odin know about him?”, I questioned.
“Ah, yes, he did!”, Fandral confirmed. “The two of them go way back and have counseled each other on many occasions. Odin said his last known location was on a planet called Earth in the Caspiel Empire. Do you know where that is?”
“Yeah, it’s in the region of space we cannot reach because of severe spatial distortions. Now that I have access to the Bifrost, though, I may be able to get us there using it.”, I remarked. “We can give it a try after my family vacation.”
“Do as you will.”, Loki reluctantly agreed.
Thanking her for her approval, I asked Luxion to initiate a mass teleportation back to our ships. Telling my extended family that the festivities would begin in two hours, it would be held on the New Genesis to better accommodate everyone. Giving me the thumbs up, they were eager to kick back, relax, and attempt to drink themselves stupid. Assuring them that would definitely be a possibility, we teleported away and made the quick trek back home.
