Chapter 35 - Azvoid and Noctis' Desperate Review Hunt (Side Chapter)

Azvoid flopped onto his overpriced chair, hands clasped behind his head as he stared at the System panel. His apartment was as barren as it could ever get, but he'd grown fond of the mess. Dust-covered floors, half-eaten packs of noodles, and a collection of bizarre trinkets he swore were going to be worth something someday.

But today, none of that mattered. Today was all about one thing.

"Hey, System. How many reviews have we gotten so far?"

New novel chapt𝒆rs are published on ƒгeewebnovёl.com.

[System Notification: Reviews Received – Zero.]

Azvoid's left eye twitched. "Seriously? Not even one?"

A low, rumbling growl echoed from the depths of his mental space. "Pathetic."

Noctis's voice was smooth and deep, the kind that could make grown men weep in terror and women faint from sheer charisma. At least, that's what the dragon claimed.

"Are your readers all mute? Or perhaps they've been struck with a rare condition that prevents them from using their fingers to type."

Azvoid snorted. "Hey! They're just... shy. Yeah, that's it. Maybe they think their opinions aren't worth sharing."

"If their opinions were worthless, the System wouldn't have asked for them." Noctis's eyes shimmered within the shadowy corners of Azvoid's mind, a subtle menace woven into his words. "Or maybe they're all too terrified of my greatness to speak."

"Or you're just ugly, Noctis."

The dragon's eyes flared with the intensity of a thousand scornful glares. "Watch your tongue, whelp, before I decide to abandon you to your miserable fate."

Azvoid chuckled, completely unbothered. "Relax, Edgelord. You wouldn't last a day without me. Who else would provide the comedy routine to your endless brooding?"

Noctis growled, the sound like thunder rolling through a midnight sky. "Perhaps I should demonstrate true despair by leaving you defenseless before an army of monsters."

"Ooh, so dramatic. You practicing for an acting career, Noctis?" Azvoid mocked, flashing a smug grin.

"I am a dragon, not some common jester. Unlike you, who apparently needs validation from mere mortals."

Azvoid sighed and rubbed his temples. "Come on, dude. I'm not asking for a nationwide parade. Just a couple of words, a pat on the back, maybe even a 'You rock, Azvoid!' Is that too much to ask?"

"Perhaps it is. Or perhaps your readers are just... lazy."

Azvoid's eyebrows shot up. "Wow. Okay, now you're asking for trouble." He cleared his throat, leaning toward some invisible audience only he could see.

"Hey, amazing readers! You've been devouring Chapters like crazy. But I gotta ask... What do you think of Azvoid's crazy journey so far? If you've enjoyed it, consider dropping a review. And if you're just here to binge like a monster, that's cool, but Noctis is glaring at you right now. Yep, better drop that review before he starts growling!"

"Growling?" Noctis chuckled darkly. "More like reducing them to ashes if they dare continue their silent consumption."

"Easy there, big guy. We're trying to get reviews, not roast them alive."

"Hmph. What good are silent readers if they do not proclaim my magnificence to the world?"

Azvoid rolled his eyes. "Alright, fine. How about this? I'll make it a competition. The more reviews and comments, the faster I'll unlock some of your crazier powers. And hey, maybe you'll even get a chance to show off."

Noctis's eyes gleamed with sudden interest. "A tempting proposition. Very well. But should the mortals fail to heed our call..." The air grew colder, shadows lengthening as the dragon's presence grew. "I will ensure their ignorance is repaid in blood."

"Okay, chill with the death threats, drama king. We want reviews, not a mass extinction event." Azvoid smirked. "But yeah, you heard the big guy. Reviews or Noctis gets cranky. And when he's cranky, well... Let's just say I wouldn't want to be around when he throws a tantrum."

Noctis let out a rumbling laugh. "Heed the call, mortals. If you do not wish to awaken to your worst nightmares, leave your words of praise. Or critique, if you dare. Though I doubt many of you possess the courage."

Azvoid shook his head, laughing. "Yeah, yeah. We get it, Mr. Doom and Gloom. But seriously, folks. Drop a review. It's just a few words and makes this whole adventure worth the madness."

A new System panel flickered into existence, glowing with an unearthly light:

[System Notification: If you enjoyed the Chapter, please leave a review. Otherwise, prepare to face Noctis's wrath. And believe me, his growling is the nicest thing he'll do.......
