Rise Of The Hoarder-Chapter 349 The White Rider
Chapter 349 The White Rider
“Oh well, there’s nothing else I can do…”
Even if I was annoyed about the whole thing with Paul, it was still a fact that he lost.
Thanks to their emergency escape, the Pariah party missed their chance to challenge the Hidden Floor of the Tower Of Conquerors.
Not only that, but their plan to use Tia and the others as hostages didn’t work. They were in my [Subspace].
‘It’s not like they matter to me at this point…’
I could simply keep them as (G) Karma Point banks.
Now that I could once again resort to farming (G) Karma from people, wasn’t this the perfect opportunity to gain as many points as I could?
‘Ah, but I need quite the number of Points to advance to B Rank…’
My Gift was currently in C Rank. While the abilities were pretty broken at this point, I couldn’t help but wonder what awaited me if I could get a higher Rank.
‘With this whole gods business, I need to get as strong as possible…’
With a smile, I gazed upon the warbling portal in front of me.
“Speaking of stronger… I should keep ascending the floors!”
With no more opposition, ascending the Tower would be a cinch.
*************************
As expected, I was able to ascend to the Floors in the 90s without any standstill.
Using my full power to decimate the foes that stood in my way, I cleared the path pretty easily.
Of course, I used the chance to obtain as many subordinates as I could.
While I couldn’t count how many mob soldiers I now had in my possession, the Elites among them were forty-nine
Considering the fact that I had started with a mere twelve, the number was actually pretty good.
The Death Core Essence I got from defeating The Pale Rider was still in my [Subspace], alongside the Lack Core Essence I got in the other Tower.
At the moment, they were useless, but I presumed they would work better as a set.
‘All that’s left is the Conqueror’s Core and War’s Core–that is, if that bastard Paul hasn’t gotten his hands on it already…’
I encountered powerful prey from the 91st Floor and above, but they still didn’t pose much of a threat to me.
Still, after learning about how I couldn’t rely on [Subspace], I had no choice but to use my primary abilities and Skills in order to overcome my adversaries.
Floor 91: Cleared!
Floor 92: Cleared!
Floor 99: Cleared!

A nearly unlimited array of weapons and stockpile of treasures.
An immeasurable number of combinations based on multiple Skills and Titles.
I entered the ominously bright doorway to the Hidden Floor with these at my disposal.
Even without the aid of [Subspace]… I wasn’t feeling like losing!
*****************************
The Hidden Floor was a vast plain.
It was filled with absolutely nothing.
The skies were nonexistent–the same as the ground. It was nothing more than a blank canvas with nothing in sight… except the approaching figure.
A smile leaked from my face as I stared at the being with determination and excitement in my heart.
A white horse, clad in gold, moved regally as it neared me.
Seated atop it was a being clad in white and gold armor. A magnificent crown floated above his head, and he had an air of absolute authority.
Even in the full-plat armor–with me unable to even see his face–it was clear that this being was sneering at me.
His eyes stared condescendingly at my smaller figure, and he neared me majestically.
“So, you’ve finally come…” His voice was deep, deserving of someone of royal heritage.
Usually, I would be in a hurry to end the battle, but… perhaps I was a bit curious about this whole setup.
“You were expecting me?”
“Filthy Mongrel! Who permitted you to speak to me?”
Somehow, his reaction reminded me of a character in a book I once read. The whole getup was to display that my opponent was royalty–even the crown gave it away.
That meant he was most likely going to underestimate me.
“I have conquered everything in these lands. There is nothing left to steal, kill, or destroy. Why would I not expect another foolish challenger?”
I nearly rolled my eyes at the boring monologue I was receiving.
“This will prove to be a decent appetizer… before I lay waste to the world beyond this prison.”𝑓𝗿𝐞𝘦𝘄e𝘣n𝘰𝘷eƖ.c𝘰𝗺
The white and gold man in regal armor seemed ready to fight as he brandished his blade atop his horse.
‘I could just take them on one after the other, but…’
I had already resolved within myself not to rely too much on the chest abilities that my Gift had.
To prepare for the worst, I had to handle some things myself.
The glittering horse readied itself, surging with immense energy that made it quite intimidating.
Its rider was even scarier.
The golden weapon it had was filled with the greatest amount of energy I had noticed since climbing any Tower.
‘I have to make it mine!’ My mind rang out as I licked my lips.
“Come!” The glorified Demon declared.
>VWOOOSSSHHHH<
Obeying ‘his Majesty’, I dashed at full speed and sped across the blank area that divided our paths.
My speed sent vibrations through the air, and everything around me parted for my assault.
With a perfect combination of Death’s Armor, and Lack’s accessories, I launched my first strike.
“What?!” The Conqueror gave a surprised yelp as soon as I raised my dark blade and descended upon him.
>BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!<
Echoes of our clash reverberated the seemingly endless expanse.
I felt a slight recoil, but, from the looks of things, my adversary was feeling even more pushed back.
‘Even though he should be buffed since he’s riding the horse… I’m superior!’
That was how superior I currently was!
>VWOOOOOOOSSSSSSHHHHH!!!<
Generating a clean arc, I increased my speed and broke through the enemy’s pathetic defense.
“Guark!!” It bitterly cried out.
However, I wasn’t done.
“Come on! We’re just getting started!”
Making more clean arcs before he could recoil, I used my superior speed to lash out at the opponent until it was unable to lift a finger in retaliation.
“You… you…!!!” He cried out in exasperation and pain.
Feeling the tables suddenly turn on him in a flash–I was certain a Conqueror such as himself never expected it.
