Rise Of The Hoarder-Chapter 325 The Pale Rider [Pt 2]
“Wha—?!”
Before my target could say any more words, I activated [Subspace] and stole his mount, causing the rider to fall from Midair.
‘That’s kinda hilarious!’ I mused as I watched the glorified Death himself land on his buttocks atop the crunching bones.
“Y—you…?!”
Before he said anything, I took him into [Subspace] as well. 𝘧𝑟𝘦𝒆w𝚎𝙗nov𝘦𝗹.𝐜o𝓶

The glitch in the System started occurring again. Of course, the pings were endless, and it disturbed me to no end. I endured it, though, deciding to hurry things up before I couldn’t take any more.
‘This is why I dislike resorting to tactics like this…’
“You guys…” I murmured, summoning my twenty elite subordinates.
They appeared in their glorious forms, each outfitted for battle. I felt a swell of pride surge in my chest, but controlled myself.
I could see the surprise on a few of their faces.
“Where’s the enemy? Where is Death?” Helios spoke up.
She was outfitted with my previous most powerful gear. Of course, I took hers so it was only natural I gave her the next best thing.
“Oh? He’ll be arriving shortly. But, first… let’s take care of his mount first.”
They cocked their heads in confusion the moment I said that.
It was common sense that the Pale Rider would never leave his horse. The reason for that wasn’t simple affinity, but also buff-related. A Rider would obviously be buffed if they equipped a Mount.
I figured it was the same with Death.
To weaken him considerably, as well as choose the safest means of killing the guy, I separated the two.
‘We’ll deal with the Bicorn first… then Death is next.’
“Alright guys, look sharp! The enemy is going to arrive in three…”
I would simply let my subordinates fight the Bicorn.
“… two…”
Since it was a Grade 5, it wouldn’t be too difficult with their numbers and gear.
“… one…”
This was practically cheating since my allies were prepared, but the Bicorn would clearly be confused by the time it appeared.
“… Now!”
>WHUUUUSSSHHH!!!<
The creature of malevolence appeared, displaying its majesty. It looked confused, wondering where its master went.
Unfortunately for our target, my subordinates had already prepared powerful Skills and Spells while waiting for its appearance.
Before the poor creature could wrap its head around what was happening, their blasts surged and completely enveloped it.
“NIHIIIIHHHHH!!!”
It neighed in pain and complete shock.
The Demon didn’t have the time to use any Skills or cast any Spells.
Simply by bombarding it with attacks from multiple angles, it was helpless and could only scream.
I watched the HP of a supposedly powerful foe plummet so easily, and in a few seconds… it died.
“Welp, looks like we won!”
I stole glances at my subordinates, and they were all surprised.
“J—just like that?” One of them spoke in surprise.
It was Helios.
She probably couldn’t believe we had just bested such a creature without any hassle. Based on the Horse’s Stats, it was stronger than Helios. But, with her previous gear, I was certain she would ultimately win against it.
After their initial shock wore out, the expressions of my Enslaved Souls began to morph into varying displays of emotions.
Niggaruth seemed proud, beaming happily at me. Many other subordinates of mine—my first twelve especially—were all nodding in satisfaction.
In contrast to that, the Generals—other than the Ancient Vampire—were all viewing me with horror and great reverence.
“Y—you truly are worthy of being my master…” Helios gave a flustered mutter.
Apparently, I gained more of their respect after bringing about such a drastic victory. 𝗳𝗿𝐞ℯ𝙬𝗲𝗯n𝗼νel.𝒄𝑜𝘮
“Well, I’m flattered, Helios.” I smiled.
She sharply turned her face from me and gave a “Hmph!”
‘Bashful, are we?’

“Urgh! I know already!” I groaned, seeing so many red icons pop up around me.
It was better we got things over with quickly.
“Our next opponent is Death. His buffs will be removed since he’s not going to be with his mount. Plus, I’ll be taking away his armor, so he will be further weakened.”
I said that, but it was still a fact that we were up against a Grade 6 entity. The most powerful of my wide array of subordinates was Helios… and she was currently only Grade 4.
The Mount would make for a good subordinate too, but, since I didn’t reap its soul before it died, I would have to wait for the mission to be over before I received my Rewards—one of which would be his soul.
“You will all be fighting Death at his weakest, and I’ll also join the fight, so we should be able to achieve overwhelming victory.”
This was an efficient tactic I developed.
Usually, once a Boss Monster was defeated, the armor and spoils they had would be given to the Gifted who achieved this feat.
However, by stripping a Boss Monster of those things before killing them, the System would see this as an error and attempt to correct it. The System would pay Karma Points of equivalent value to the items that were missing.
It was a win on double ends for me.
Plus, I had <System Correction>, so the gear I stole could be used by and for me.
“Take formation and prepare your strongest attacks. Fire them at me.”
My subordinates were confused, but I just told them to do it.
Once they fired their assaults, I used [Subspace] to absorb everything.
“Again!”
Skills required cooldowns, and the more powerful ones had a longer cooldown rate in exchange for their effectiveness. So, I either had to wait for the cooldowns, or…
“Fire all the attacks at your disposal! Bombard me with your assaults.”
They obeyed immediately.
Once they had launched several powerful moves—enough to kill the bicorn over and over again—I absorbed them all.
Next, I replenished them with Miasma, restoring their MP and also granting them buffs.
“Alright. I would have loved to keep this up for longer, but… these pings are getting annoying.”
My subordinates cocked their head, indicating they didn’t understand.
It was only natural, though, since only I would see the annoying System notifications.
“Take formation, prepare to strike!” I ordered, also readying myself.
With this much prep time, flopping the subjugation would be a miracle.
