Rise of the Crusader-Chapter 250 Raphael’s Surprise
"Is he gone?" Bane asked.
As Devon heard Bane, he nodded his head repeatedly. "Is it just me, or has he changed a lot since the breakup?" Devon moved his gaze to Bane when he spoke.
"Of course, it would. He really liked her." Bane replied.
"Even though he seemed to act cold and indifferent around everyone one, he was a whole different person when he was with Elisa." He added.
Hearing what Bane said, Devon knitted his brows. "I suppose that would be true, but how do you know about that?" Devon folded his hand across his chest as he spoke.
"Don't tell me that you have secretly been watching the both of them," Devon said.
"No! That would be creepy, how can you think that of me."
Devon raised an eyebrow after Bane spoke. "Really?"
"Alright, fine, but I didn't watch the two of them," Bane said with a straight face.
"I heard that from Melinda and Becky. Raphael was really into Elisa, from what I was told, but what I don't understand is how can you be into someone that much and yet still cheat on them."
"Not even with an outsider again, you chose to do that with one of her best friends. To be very frank, Raphael has really exceeded my expectations, I didn't expect that from him at all."
As Devon heard Bane, he couldn't help but be very confused. For a moment, it seemed to be as though Bane were criticizing Raphael, then another minute later it was like he was singing his praise.
"He will be alright eventually," Devon said as he recalled the cold expression on Raphael's face.
"Why wouldn't he?" Bane blurted. "He has two very attractive women head over heels for him, and don't tell me Aurora doesn't like him for all that much because she slept with him knowing he's in a relationship with her best friend."
"The way I see it, Elisa needs to come to accept that she would be sharing Raphael with other women. And luckily for her, one of those women is her best friend, Aurora."
"You need help, Bane, not everyone is sick-minded like you." Devon retorted.
Bane shrugged his shoulder at Devon, "You can't be completely sane and achieve something good in this world, Devon. You need to have a bolt or two loose up there or else you won't amount to anything." 𝗯𝐞𝐝𝗻𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥.𝐜𝗼𝐦
"If you think I'm bluffing wask yourself who is up there that you think is completely sane. The directors? The dean? Even Raphael has a bolt loose up there, and look at how it paid off. He just slept with two of the most beautiful women in the academy."
"I don't know about you, but sooner or later, I will build a harem of my own." Bane declared.
His words left Devon dumbfounded, and before he would regain composure, Bane walked past him majestically.
Meanwhile, once Raphael and Gus left the mansion, they both headed to the shop. The grim expression and the murderous intent that spread around his body as he moved caused the beasts and humans to move farther away from him.
"Isn't that Raphael Queen,"
"You mean the one who won the academy tournament?"
"Yes, that's him. Don't allow the fine face fool you, he defeated every student in the division without breaking a sweat. And from what I've heard, that's merely a tip of what he's truly capable of."
"I also heard, he's a meta beast who took human form."
The students in the surrounding didn't speak in a low voice, and every word they said was heard loud and clear by Raphael. His lips twitched as he heard all sorts of rumors about him.
"I heard he doesn't relate much with those around him, it must be because he's a metabeast, and he finds humans beneath him. That explains everything and even the owl is always on his shoulder."
"Birds of a feather flock together." Someone said.
"A friend of mine also told me that that blue owl on his shoulder, Gus I think, is actually Raphael's beast child."
Raphael had completely ignored what the people around him were saying the whole time, but as he heard the claim that had just been made, he paused abruptly.
Turning towards the person who just spoke, Raphael raised an eyebrow. The grim look on his face caused the male student to break into sweats, but it wasn't the look on Raphael's face that made him terrified, instead, it was the aura Gus excluded.
Gus's eyes were locked onto the student body and even though it was still on Raphael's shoulder, the male student could feel the aura of death.
He could tell that his life was hanging on a thread, and Gus simply needed to move or just give the command, and he would perish.
"Pl-Please… Don't kill me." He stuttered.
Raphael shook his head, with disgust evident on his face as he saw the student's pants get wet. As Gus moved its gaze away from the student as well, he stumbled to the ground.
Sometimes later, Raphael and Gus appeared in front of a building, and as he stared at the building, a smile couldn't help but appear on Raphael's face.
"You've done well, Gus," Raphael muttered as he continued to stare at the building.
The building before him was similar to the one that was in Dale city. It was, in fact, like a print of the building in Dale city, and as Raphael continued to stare at the building, the smile on his face widened.
He was like a child who had just received a Christmas present.
"Is the interior also the same?" Raphael asked.
"I wasn't able to create the AI and the robot, but apart from that, every other thing is the same," Gus responded. "Even the upper floor where you did that with Aurora, I tried to make it the same."
"I'm not quite sure what that place looks like, but I imagined how it would be, and it was created the way I imagined it to be."
The smile on Raphael's face vanished as soon as he heard Gus. He then stared at the owl on his face with a stern expression on his face.
"I'm certain you would like it." Gus feigned ignorance at the look on Raphael's face.
Raphael turned his eyes away from Gus, he was about to head into the building when a voice rang out.
"If it isn't the Infamous Raphael Queen."
Hearing that voice, Raphael paused. He swiftly turned, coming into contact with the person who had just spoken, he became extremely vigilant.
"He's strong," Raphael muttered.
"Very strong," Gus commented.
